Dealt with Jessica to get an SSL cert set up. She was probabbly the most polite, knowledgable, and efficient customrr service person I ever dealt with. This HAS to come from management because its across the board with all employees! Kudos Nexcess! more

Apache mod_security exceptions 4/17/2012

We received an Apache 501 - Method not implemented error while attempting to update an older, lengthy FAQ post on our forums. Ryan helped document and research our issue. When I called in, Jessica helped resolve that issue. Both Ryan and Jessica were courteous, professional, and quick to respond to our needs. Jessica's knowledge of the mod_security configuration resolved our issue extremely quickly. We can't possibly ask for better support. Thank you VERY much!! more

Very Good Magento Host 4/10/2012

Technical support is awesome. Nexcess will help you out even if the problem is caused by user ignorance rather than something they did wrong. I tried hosting Magento with another company - a large company that does Superbowl ads. Their servers were mis-configured making installation almost impossible. To top that off, they didn't provide any sort of support. I deleted my hosting account and went with Nexcess instead. When I bought Magento hosting from Nexcess, they gave me a hosting account with Magento already installed - that was one big thing that I didn't have to worry about. With the other company, my Magento installation was too slow for an ecommerce website. Even if I had gotten everything to work correctly on GD I would've had to switch to faster servers. Not so with Nexcess. Compared to GD, visitors to a Nexcess Magento installation travel back in time - they save so much of it. As a part-time web developer I will definitely advise Magento clients to host with Nexcess. more

We are on a dedicated server and the support team has been outstanding - very quickly reply to tickets - detailed responses - phone support if needed and a really friendly staff - would highly recommend if you need a host that will be there when problems or questions arise! more

I have been with Nexcess.net since 2002. There committment to 24 hour up time is A++. The support team also responds very fast and has Linux servers that are loaded with software. If they do not have it they will get it installed. more

Outstanding quality and service, breath of fresh air! 3/20/2012

If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. I have been a web designer for over a decade now and have worked with more hosting providers than I care to share. Nexcess has been an absolute breath of fresh air for me. We recently launched an ecommerce website using the powerful yet resource hogging Magento platform, and they provide us with rock solid performance for an extremely good price. On top of that, the service is outstanding, they respond to you seemingly instantly day or night, and are always happy to help. The best I've found! 3/18/2012

The support folks are always responsive and helpful. As a small business owner who gets nervous when I have to use SSH or edit code, knowing that I have access to free support if I screw something up makes a huge difference! They've held my hand through upgrading Magento, installing complicated extensions, and all for a very reasonable hosting cost. Two thumbs way up. more

A Magento site was restored in about one hour 3/15/2012

We have been leasing servers from Nexcess for hosting Magento based eCommerce applications for almost two months. We were able to migrate a few applications to Nexcess servers without any problem. A site that was migrated over 30 hours ago began throwing exceptions today. Even though, the bug was not related with the server setup, I reached out to Nexcess for help. Nexcess' support team analyzed the problem and resolved it in about an hour. I am happy to learn that I can count on Nexcess Support Team's expertise on Magento and their desire to help their customers. more
