I have been seeing Pamela for my eyebrows and facials since the beginning. I've followed her at every place and will continue to follow her! She re-shaped my brows for my wedding and did a wonderful job. Pamela has a relaxing space at M2 Studio. The products they use are high end european & made my face soft & glowy. Her knowlege of the products & non-pushy customer service makes it easy for me to continue getting my facials & eyebrows done with Pamela! more

I moved to LA from Europe and have been looking for a good esthetician since I got here, my search was over when I found Pamela. She is very proffessional, friendly and has great personality . I have had lots of facials done in Europe, but I can honestly say that this is the best I have ever had. Pamela loves what she does and knows what she is doing. She custmomized the facial for my skin type and I enjoyed an hour of pure relaxation. Afterwards my skin was glowing and soft like a baby. I will come back soon!! She also does bikini waxes on me regularly, Pamela makes me feel very comfortable and the results are always perfect. Soon I am going back to Europe and I wish I could bring Pamela with me!!! more

I have recently been to Pamela for 2 facials & just had her do my eyebrows with my last facial ;) She is awesome, friendly, welcoming, professional (she knows her stuff!) & comfortable. If you are looking the peace and glow you get from a relaxing vacation, then a facial from Pamela is your destination. Sure you get the skin care you are looking for, but you get sooo much more. First, she'll greet you with a Martini glass of some refreshing, healthy elixir water. She then escorts you to her spacious, pleasing to the senses spa room, and lets you change to your velvety wrap. While you relax to soothing sounds, your facial of choice will begin. The facial and shoulder massage will lull you to sleep. My favorite facial is the Seaweed Mask which sometimes comes out all in one piece. You can keep it as a decoration, should you choose to do so. I leave relaxed and glowing. At the end, I don't want to leave but alas I look forward to my next "vacation". more

Just wanted to thank everyone at M2 salon. Especially Debra!!! She is the only one who can control my mad curls. A true professional!! Plus the team at M2 are really down to earth. Being in the entertainment biz, always on the go, I don't have time for inexperience, I just let Debra work her magic! One of the greatest feelings is when an actress or entertainer tells me," you have great hair, who is your stylist!" I just tell them Debra of M2 salon in Toluca Lake. I came to Vanessa and I told her I was bord with my blond dry hair,i want to change my look. I just want to feel younger and sassy "She laughed"She was so excited because she just got back from some academy hair class in San Diego..She knows her stuff just by the way she comunicates with you. I felt so comfortable with her, mind you she is funny and real.. She colored my hair and gave me a rich copper brown hair with golden blond highlights. Need I say more.. I also have wavy hair and the hair cut she gave me is to die for.. My hair condition is unreal , my hair feels like silk.WOW !! I feel and look like a new women.And to know that my hair stylist is also a makeup artist and has been for yrs in well known makeup counters..She broke it down step by step what was going on and what I can do with make up and hair..She realy knows her stuff.. The cool thing is that people notice my hair at work, one of the guys at work approched me to tell me how he likes my hair color..and realy everyone has noticed.. I can't thank you enough. I came to M2 with dry damaged boring hair. Debra saved my life. :) I have never been to a salon with a better atmosphere or a friendlier more accomodating staff. My hair feels great, looks greater, and M2 just gained another client for life. I don't know what I would do without them. I will certainly send all my friends right over. They also informed me that they are expanding into a full service nail spa. Wow this place just gets better!!! I can now come here for any beauty service. Thanks M2. Okay, so after I saw Katie I decided to have Pamela clean up my eyebrows. I had been going to one of those strip-mall nail salons to get it done. Let's just say when you go to a strip-mall nail salon, stick with manicures and avoid anything having to do with WAX! Pamela shaped my eyebrows to perfection. Two weeks later they still look fabulous!!! She was so sweet and I can't wait to go back to get a facial from her!! more

I RARELY walk away happy after getting my hair done. But Katie managed to satisfy this picky customer. She did such a great job w/my cut and highlights. I have flat, straight Asian hair and she was able to give it some volume and life. And I'm so apprehensive getting highlights because it always turns brassy and orange. She listened to my concerns and my highlights turned out the way I've always wanted them. Katie is patient and really pays attentions to your needs but most importantly she will give you her honest opinion which I find nice. Everyone was very friendly and the salon had such a warm environment. I can't wait to go back and see how else Katie can improve my hair. I don?t usually write reviews, I mean, seriously, I have better things to do. But this place deserves a review, kudos and many repeat visits. I live in Beverly Hills and I?ve tried all the high-end salons, the ones where you have to book an appointment almost a year in advance and where your final bill exceeds any kind of rationality for a guy who?s hair is only a couple of inches long. A friend of mine referred me here and I was skeptical but he raved so much about how great the salon and Vanessa is that I decided to give it a go. The whole thing is perfect starting from the moment you call to book your appointment. A friendly-voiced lady by the name of Valerie speaks softly in what is almost a purr and gives you an appointment at a reachable future time, then, when the day of your appointment comes you?re greeted with smiles, small salon gossip/talk, tea/coffee, up-to-date reading material and then my stylist (Vanessa) appeared on cue and took care of business. She gave me a cut, touched up my tips and styled my hair. The best part about it was that she didn?t give me a cut she thought would suit you but a cut I actually like and will be able to manage. She explained everything about my hair needs to me with a great attitude and I ended up purchasing some of the products she recommended to me because it simply made sense to do so. For a man, the salon experience isn?t a high point of entertainment or necessity but here she made me feel like a man, at home and comfortable. Two thumbs up. Book her now. She?s great! I have died & gone to Hairven.......err....I mean Heaven. Thank you to LIANA for showing me that there really are still masters of their trade out there. It's a give and take relationship. She gives me loads of confidence and takes about ten years off of my looks. I didn't even know what I wanted my hair to look like when I walked in. But the imagination and expertise of Liana took over and I walked out of the salon with a style sexier and more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed of. Thank you Thank you Thank you! LOVE Liana! She's my hair hero! Seriously - I have thick, coarse, unruly hair and she has been keeping me from looking like I'm wearing a football helmet for years. Liana colors my hair, too, and my hair is always shiny and natural looking. Recently, I had a Brazilian Blow Dry and am sooooo happy with it! At first I was afraid that I would lose the curl in my hair - how silly of me - I still have all of my curl and body AND I can actually handle my hair by myself on a daily basis! It's never been easier. I can "finger" blow dry my hair and it looks fabulous. My mornings now belong to me - not my hair. And no more clips and round brushes trying to tame my hair in place! Ok - for starters - i am a skinny white girl from mississippi. And even though i have lived in LA for 4 years now - it can still be intimidating for someone like me. I have visited quite a few salons during my time here - and, call me crazy - but i dont think turning your nose up at the customer makes good buisness sense - but hey what do i know - i'm from mississippi. i have encountered stylists that thought their opinion was the only one that mattered (forgetting it was YOUR hair). And some stylists talked in such a way that i didnt even understand what the hell they were talking about but i didnt say anything because i didnt want to seem ignorant. And, i hate to admit it, thats what i was expecting when i walked into this salon because it was so beautiful. But to my amazement it was completely different. i was greeted by a lovely lady named Val with a big smile. I told her i wanted something done because i was tired of my hair. Different, but not crazy. So - i ended up in the chair of a stylist named Vanessa. After all was said and done - i probably would have paid just to hear vanessa talk for an hour. She is a petite thing with olive skin - medaterannian looking, obviously latino. She is the poster child for the phrase ' dont judge a book by its cover'. . To be honest - latino women have always intimidated me. they always seem so strong willed and certain of what they want and not afraid to tell you what it is. But about 5 seconds after sitting down in her chair i realized she was not like that at all. She was just as neurotic and indesicive and screwed up as i was!!! It was hilarious. And it was so refreshing to talk to a stylist who wasnt trying to act cool the whole time. not to say she wasnt professional - she was. Once we decided on a style and color - she went to work - asking my opinion ever step of the way (which i love). Anyway - it was wonderful! The whole place!!!!!!!! Love those girls. Well as a guy is hard to go to a beauty salon but this is different, the atmosphere is amazing. The Hair Stylish Profetional that took care of me was Vanessa, she is very good with scissors I never like when they use buzzers to cut hair,. I went in for a trim and color was greeted by Vanessa who gave me the greatest salon experience I've ever had. She is just fantastic! She started out by assessing my hair's condition and its needs along with my desired look was and she worked around it to ensure my satisfaction. Along the way, she explained the color process to me and gave me pointers for maintaining my new do in the healthiest of ways. The results were amazing; I now have shiny vibrant color and a manageable hair cut with space for changing it if needed. I'm a very happy person right now; it's like a dream come true. M2 Studio is a little haven for beauty. They make you feel right at home, not like other spa-style salons where you're just another appointment. The girls there are friendly and chatty and above all, they strive in delivering personalized treatment to their guests. M2Studio's Vanessa is a jewel. She listened and delivered! Katie is a fantastic stylist and colorist--it's as simple as that. She gave my hair a lot more dimension with both the cut and highlights, and it's much easier to style now. If I want, I can just wash it and go (but I can't bring myself to because the layers are SO beautiful when straightened!). I am new to LA and was dreading finding a new hair place. I am very sensitive about my hair and was really worried about getting my hair done here. I went on City Search and saw a bunch of great reviews for this salon and boy were they right!! I made an appt. with Katie and was very hesitant, but told her exactly what I wanted. She has a folder for each client that she writes down the specifics so each time you come in it is consistant. I have seen her twice so far. One time for highlights (blonde) and the second for a hair cut and highlights. Let me tell you Katie gave me a FANTASTIC hair cut, dare I say the best I have ever had. It's exactly what I wanted! My hair is long and thick. She thinned it out and gave me texture so it's easy to manage and has a style. Not to mention the color has been consistant and she doesn't use bleach products on my hair (upon request). Katie is definately going to be my hairstylest down here and I would definately recommend her to ANYONE! She listens and works with you the whole time to make sure you are getting what you want! And the prices are great for the quality of care! Pros: Great staff that listens, Great prices! No sales pressure. Cons: NONE more

About a year ago, I made a huge decision to chop off a foot of hair to donate to Wigs for Kids. I found this place on citysearch, and it had such a high rating I figured I'd give it a try. Since then, I've never gone to anyone else but Katie. She did an awesome job and made me feel comfortable adjusting to short hair. I had never gotten so many compliments about my hair! Earlier this week I brought my roommate in with me because she was looking for a new place, and I think Katie's got her hooked too, so you know it's not just me! Pam is awesome. Your pores will transform; she's an extraction queen! She knows lots about the various product lines out there and doesn't try to sell you on any one. She's always been helpful in her suggestions. Since using the stuff she recommended, my skin looks great. Ask for the thermal, seaweed mask -you'll feel results for weeks after.
