Coupon not honored and services not needed suggested 7/19/2011

The fleet service (pick up and delivery) is a very nice product and will make me want to return. However, I was not given the credit for a coupon I had for giving a positive review on yahoo.com and I was told I needed a cabin filter when that is something that is done at 60k not 50k. Despite the fleet service, not honoring the coupon, that didn't have an expiration date, and adding services not needed will make me consider if I will return. RESPONSE FROM Kniesel's Auto Service Center of Citrus Heights: David, we spoke today and did not see coupon presented and yet honored the Yahoo.com discount(free oil change) crediting back oil change. I reviewed cabin filter recommendation and found filter was dirty - not purely service interval driven. Thank you for your time and feedback. We hope to see you again and have another opportunity to service your vehicle with better communication. Thank you. more

I can count on Kneisel's for quality and service and honesty 7/18/2011

I have used Kneisel's for years and have had at least 4 cars serviced over time. What stands out me is the integrity and honesty that the staff all seem to have. I can count on them to tell me the truth even it means they dont profit from it. In this day and age that has become rare. You will have a trusted friendly car service you can rely on. Prices are discussed and there are no hidden mysteries. Well worth the money spent. more

Had new tires installed and an alignment 7/11/2011

I Love Mike Burrell, he was my service manager for about 7 years before he switched over to Kniesels. We stayed where we were because we didnt know where Mike went. I have recently reconnected with Mike and as always his level of customer service and honesty are like a magnet drawing me in. Unfortunately there were some problems with my car and I had to take a day off work to bring it back. Since Kneisels were the last people to work on the car they fixed the broken part for free. It was a little uncomfortable that they blamed my prior mechanic. I do plan on coing back because I am loyal to Mike and we will see how it goes. Maybe my first experience was just a fluke. more

They seem more expensive than some other repair shops; however, the quality of service is excellent. If only you offered a frequent customer discount as my husband and I have provided lots of repeat business with our older cars!!! more

As expected 6/30/2011

Took 90 minutes for tire install and "inspection".Seemed too long. provided some inspections that weren't asked for. Assume this was "marketing" for other work. Touted as free but would expect the cost hidden in tire install fees. They said battery checked ok but dealer says battery very very low... Who do we believe? $70 for 4 tires install labor (less than an hours work)steep. more
