Love Kniesels! 10/16/2013

Kniesels was recommended by a friend. I needed maintenance performed. I was given a list of items that needed attention. All the prices for these items were extremely reasonable. They are genius in the knowledge of mechanics. They are very clear in their explanations of the repairs. The staff treated me as if I were their most important customer! Everyone there was very nice and polite. From when I first called to schedule my appointment to the visit itself. The length of time that was estimated to me over the phone for how long it would take on my car was exact. I was please with my experience. more

Tire installation on my 2006 Mazda MX-5 2/2/2012

I had my first service experience with Kniesel's Auto Service Center this week. I had ordered new tires from TireRack.com and they were a recommended installer in my area. As soon as the tires arrived, I arranged an appointment to bring my car in. When I arrived, Matt was all ready for me and he told me how long it would take for the job to be finished. I stayed around to wait for the car and it was ready exactly on time as promised. The installation was perfect. I took my car for a drive afterwards to test everything out and they were as good as their reputation. I also asked Matt about other services I was considering for my car. He quoted me pricing on the spot and told me just to schedule an appointment and they would take care of me. I also have a 1984 Mustang GT that I've been needing to have some work done, but I'm always a bit wary of taking it somewhere I've never been. Now that I've been to Kniesel's and experienced the quality of their service, I will happily take both my cars there when I need them serviced. This is a top notch operation! more

Above and Beyond 1/24/2012

Brent drove the shuttle that morning to take me to work. He also picked me up later in the afternoon, and not when the shuttle ran normally. I realized later that he is the owner. Thank you so much for the extra customer service. These guys are the best. Thav was also very friendly and professional. more

dont know about value as I didnt cost compare but service rep was excellent 1/20/2012

assuming no more problems w car , my experience was great. i did ask then to check my indoor lamp which was forgotten for more expensive repairs( this has happened before)--not good. i was given a great car for 2 days for free and the shuttle service and courtesy are excellent more

Engine Service light came on 1/15/2012

Kniesel's diagnosed the problem and explained what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix the problem. At the same time the fixed a major oil leak and the Air Conditioner leak. more

I only came in for an oil change but due to the thoroughness of their basic inspection found that one of my tires was loosing it's tread and could have blown on me at any moment. I am very grateful to your team for keeping my family safe. more

Satisfied customer 1/13/2012

As a fellow small business owner I was looking for a good independent car repair shop to have my car serviced and maintained. I found Kniesel's on the KCRA list and the reviews were/are quite good. I needed to have my brakes inspected, possibly resurfaced with new pads and likely a new serpentine belt so I gave them a shot. I worked with Matt and he was most helpful and professional. All work was performed in a timely fashion, as quoted and they provided shuttle service. My only reason this is not 5 stars all the way accross is because I believe a clean and adjust charge on the rear brakes unnecessary considering the $$ paid to perform the work on the front and belt. Being mechanically inclinded I know that all that was really performed was the removal of the drum brake housing and usage of brake cleaner on the pads and parts. I believe that should have been included rather than an additional charge. The brakes do work great, as does the belt so other than that small item I am satisfied and will continue to take my car here for maintenance. more

Service Assistant "Mike" is very professional, he kept me posted and up to date as worked progressed From shuttle drive to mechanic, everyone I came in contact with, took great care in completing their work not only to my satisfaction but to there satisfaction thus they are a great assist to your team. It's never easy to find a good reliable Service company, my previous Auto repair company went out of business, I started with them because my daughter went to school with the owner children, I your case I have drive by your Citrus Heights facility for years , it's always clean and busy, so I went on line and checked you out --- GLADE I DID. more

Matt is the Bomb! 1/3/2012

Matt has helped us retain the use of a very old BMW. We aren't in a position to buy another car, so his care and concern to keep us running is overwhelming in his efforts to search for solutions and provide us with something we can afford to do. Great service for a great price. 12/31/2011

I trust Kniesel's to keep my car running in good condition because I need it for my job. I also trust them to make recommendations but be honest with me with what needs to be done versus what would would be good but not necessary. These are tough economic times and I need to know I'm getting great service for a great price. Kniesel's delivers that. more

12-26-2011 service: Matt was very patient with my questions and thorough in assessing and determining what problems my car had and immediate fixes needed. I like to know that my car will be fixed right the first time. It helps to have transportation to and from the shop as I have limited transportation without my car. Thanks! more
