My husband and I purchased our Acadia from Kirkland, 18 months ago. Since the time of our purchase we have had nothing but headaches with the vehicle. The car was purchased with the manufacture warranty. The stabilitrack went out within 6 months of purchasing the car, the steeling column made a terrible sound. Both times the car had to be taken back to the dealership for repair. Recently had to take the car in do to some tire issues. The thread on the tires have worn down to the point that 2 outside tire companies suggested that driving on the tires would be dangerous. When the car was brought to Kirkland maintenance department they said the tires were fine to drive on. I guess having a customer with a family drive on poor quality of tires must also be under the warranty, however it doesn't seem safe or good customer service. But hey, as long as you are spending $53K for a car at Kirkland, who cares about customer service, customer satisfaction, or more importantly customer safety. When they offered to put new tires on the car, the quality was inferior to the quality of tires that were originally put on the car when purchased.
My husband was looking to purchase a Camaro from Kirkland, however since the continuous headache of the Acadia, lack of customer care and satisfaction are abundant here. We will be taking ANY and ALL future business to a dealer that is more concerned about retaining qualified customers, than the importance of just wanting to make a buck and meet monthly quota.
