Kernersville Dodge - DON'T BUY HERE!!!!\r \r I had a 2006 Raider truck that I traded for a 2000 Cadillac Deville. My kids got big and I needed something to get them in and out of. The Cadillac looked good and we agreed to a straight up trade. I told them there was some shaking and would need the tires balanced to ensure that was the problem. The dealership wanted to charge me $40.00 to balance the tires. Should of left right here but the nightmare continues. The tires were balanced and the shaking went away. I bought the car with what I thought was a full tank of gas. When I left dealership on my way home the car cut out and the check engine light came on. To say the least I was boiling hot. Im stuck in the middle of the street with cars coming off the freeway. I called the dealership and they said well just try and start it in 5 minutes and if it doesn't start we will send someone to get you. Once I got my temper under control I said to my wife the gas gauge isn't full. I said there is a gas station about a quarter mile away Ill go buy a gas can and bring some gas back. I also most got hit trying to cross the busy intersection. Paid 15.00 for a gas can and put two gallons of gas in the car. When putting gas into the car a tractor trailer almost hit me and the car coming off the freeway. I got the gas into the car and let the dealership know not to send someone. I got the car home and tried to figure out what was wrong. The next day I drove the car and the check engine light came on. What a mess now something else is wrong with this car. I went to autozone and had them print out the codes for me. Codes said something was wrong with the TCC and a engine misfire. I googled the codes and it the TCC is an expensive repair. I went to the dealership and told the manager that the car had issues and if they would take the car back. Manager says he would need to look the car over and see what they could do. I agreed and they gave me a car to drive. Two days went by and nobody called so I decided to check in. The service center had no idea what I was talking about and said they would call me back. Service called back and said they replaced something in the fuel line and now the gas gauge would work. They also said the check engine lights were a cause of the broken gas gauge. I said I want to speak with the manager. I asked that he take the car back and he said no gas gauge works. I asked my wife to go get the car. They couldn't find the car and tried to give her another car that was in the service center. They did find the car and used all the gas I put in the tank. My wife brought the car home and the next day I drove car to work. The car just shuts off - electric everything. Almost got rear ended. I was at work and sent an email of the situation. I did get a call back from the receptionist there to let me know she got my email and that a manager would call me. Its been two days no call. This place sells everything as is. So legally they will just sell you crap and stand behind that statement. Ethically - well they have no ethics. I asked that they take the car back give me what I traded and I would pick another car. I was going to drive this car back home for the holiday but how can I its a death trap. Hope I can save someone else from dealing with these people. more

i drove up from Jacksonville nc to the dealership only to find out the truck I was suppose to get right then, was under repair. I wasn't told unitll I officially got there, so I drove a 7 hr round trip to fill out paperwork and drive home. id been emailing about this truck for a week before I got there and had talked to them on the phone about it so its not like no one knew I was interested in this truck. but things happen so owell I got over it, and due to the fact I drove all that way for nothing Leon made me happier with a way to deliver the truck to my house and it was free since they comptd me for the gas I used to get there. im on day 3 of waiting for this truck to get repaired so I can finally receive the truck im trading for. on the plus side they did have a childrens room in the dealership for my little one so kudos to you guys for thinking outside the box.! more

I went in with my husband and our 3 children to buy a newer used vehicle in September 2013. We were not sure what we wanted when we got there, but Leon was great at helping us figure out what we could get that would fit in our budget and we ended up buying a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500. My husband loves his truck and all in all it was the best used car buying experience we have had out of the ones we have bought so far, but if I were to complain about anything it would be the time it took to get the paperwork done after we decided on the truck. It took over an hour for the paperwork to get done so that we could get back to see the manager who goes over the paperwork with you for you to sign it. Once we got back with the manager, that took an additional 30+ minutes. It may not have been so bad had we not had our 3 kids with us, but I think an hour and a half to two hours on paperwork is a little ridiculous. \r \r Thankfully they do have a play room for the kids to go into, which did help a lot while we were trying to decide on a vehicle, but of course the kids got bored with that by the time we got to the paperwork. more

Excellent experience buying and financing our new car! We will definitely be repeat customers and return to this dealership to purchase any future cars. Only complaint with the car (not sales) is the tires keep going flat. Carefully check the car/tires when you purchase. more

I could not have had a better used car buying experience. They were very patient with me even though it was very busy. I did not feel pressured to buy, and they were very helpful when the right truck came in. more

I purchased a 2013 RAM 3500 on Tuesday, July 16th. We traded two vehicles in on this one, and was very pleased with the trade-in values offered on both. We were also able to negotiate a fair price on the new truck. Our sales person was Julius Wittenberg who was a pleasure to deal with! He was able to answer all of our questions and concerns. After purchasing many cars and trucks over the past 30 years, I would have to rate this as one of my best buying experiences. If you are in the market for a new truck, Kernersville Dodge is the place to shop - and if Julius is available, a great sales person to work with. more

I went in last friday to look at a 2002 buick regal ended up forgetting about it as it had problems from the get go. ended up looking at a 2003 Chrysler Sebring and ended up getting it, at first I was very happy as I drove away. that night I started noticing things I didn't before (this always seems to happen) first I noticed when turned on the lights the illumination behind the speedometer, tachometer and all wasn't working something wouldn't notice during the day test driving I consider this a safety issue and tuesday when I take it I intend to have them fix it not at my expense. secondly, when I went to roll the windows up the buttons didn't have support so they sink down into the door a little as you push them this didn't happen when I was looking at the car...the next thing was the AC and fan control panel didn't have support behind them another thing that wasn't that way during the test drive, lastly I found it leaks oil bad from the valve covers as it heats up the way it's real noticeable this wasn't noticeable at the test drive since only drove a couple miles. Overall it's an ok car but I should have looked closer than I did my salesman was fine but there was things I think they knew about that they didn't tell me, if you're careful moreso than me this is a good place to car shop. more

Great Experience!!!!\r \r We were just looking for a truck that we saw on line. We had been looking within a 100 miles of Yadkinville and couldn't find the truck for us. Kernersville had a great selection of used trucks, that were neat and clean inside and out. We happen to run into Brandon on the lot and the next thing you know we felt like part of the family. Everybody was great, very friendly. We ended up not buying the truck we thought we were going to buy, but one a few years newer it is great! There was no pressure to buy, Brandon is a great salesman and we will definitely let people know that if you are looking for a used truck go see Brandon W at Kernsersville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram! more

LOST A CUSTOMER!\r On a recent purchase, the salesman, Charlie Johnson, was very helpful. He even helped us coordinate details of the deal over the phone so the Finance Department had everything they needed to prepare the paperwork. We let everyone know we would be there at a certain time so that my husband could drop in, “sign the paperwork quickly” and return to work. He waited so long to see someone that other employees were asking “are you still waiting?” In fact, multiple employees asked multiple times. Finally, after pacing in front of salesmen who were discussing where to get food and other employees were standing around as if they had nothing to do, he, with his bag of cash announced, “I want to buy a car but no one will take my money!”. He finally signed papers after four hours passed, hundreds of dollars of wages were lost, and an inordinate amount of frustration developed. Don’t expect good service from this dealer!\r more

I just purchased a 2008 Scion tC from Kernersville Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram. I live in Atlanta, GA and found the car on their website. It was fairly represented in their description, and the car itself is clean and in good shape. They also offered me a fair price on my trade-in.\r \r The sales team at the dealership, however, did not impress me at all (save for one outstanding exception - Omar Serapio). It was somewhat of a fight in order to purchase this used car because the initial sales people I was in contact with came off as trying to dissuade my purchase. I live 300+ miles from their dealership, but they would make no exceptions to the 3 day reservation ""rule"" of theirs to allow me more time to take off from work to collect the vehicle. \r \r The car did not come with a User's Manual or a spare key, and when I asked for either/both to be included, I was told that they couldn't do anything about that. I did not negotiate a lower price for this car - I accepted their asking price - so I'm not sure why they didn't offer me even a small token amount in the name of good customer service.\r \r I applied for credit through them, and was given no details about the loan I was approved for except for the rate and term. After finding out how high the rate was, I asked to have my application forwarded to a credit union of my choice (which I'm not sure they actually did). They ended up finding me a much lower loan rate than they originally offered me, making me wonder why I wasn't offered the better rate to begin with. Don't accept the first rate they offer you!\r \r If you do go to purchase a vehicle from Kernsersville, be sure to ask for Omar Serapio. He was kind, courteous, patient, and an absolute pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond what I would have expected. If it hadn't been for his excellent salesmanship and customer service, I may not have pursued this vehicle as I was very turned off by the first few sales reps I dealt with. Thank you, Omar! more

I purchased a 1999 Lexus LS400 from this dealership. I had to point out 3 things that needed to be taken care of prior to my buying the car. However, one very important thing that was overlooked during their inspection was that the passenger side view mirror was BROKEN - the mirror, which had been previously repaired, was positioned into place when I was test driving the car. Once I got on the interstate after purchasing the car, the entire mirror unit fell OUT of the housing. To me, this was a safety issue, and should have been detected when the car was inspected by the mechanics. The mirror being fully electronic (memory / heated) is going to cost me approximately $500.00 to get replaced. It just hangs there. The sales manager refused to assist me in getting this replaced.\r \r Granted, I got the car for somewhat below KBB value, but it was not perfect by any means. I *did* request a spare key, as it only has (1), and they gave me a credit for $150.00 to get a new key, which actually costs about $300 from Lexus.\r \r The staff was polite (of course, since they were selling an $8K used car), but had this been noticed prior to my purchasing the car, I would have insisted on its being replace/repaired. Unfortunately, the mirror was apparently pushed into place for temporary use.\r \r If you buy a used car from them, make SURE you check the car out fully, so that you don't get stuck having to spend even more money to get it in proper condition! more

Just bought a Ram 2500 from them March 16, 2013. Excellent experience with Kernersville Dodge. \r \r I buy new vehicles every other year, and dealers always try to pull me in to their showroom, make me test drive something and give my license to keep while I test drive, and then never give it back. Or, they will take the keys to my trade-in and hold it hostage until I make a decision with them to buy something. They try to make it too emotional. I am tired of that garbage and their sales 101 tactics. \r \r I contacted 3 dealers with Ram2500's available. Only 2 would give me discounted prices and trade-in estimates on my vehicle site unseen. Kernersville gave me the best deal by over $1000. And, they have a giant selection.\r \r At the dealer, they are very busy. But it wasn't hard to find a salesman to help me. He never took my keys, he never took my license, he never questioned or argued with what had already been promised to me over the phone. \r \r Great experience! more

Just purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler from Kernersville Chrysler Dodge (KCD) and it was the best car buying experience I have had. I've worked in IT at one of the largest dealerships in the country for 6 years so I know quite well how things work. They, of course, did not know this; I was just another customer interested in purchasing a vehicle at the best possible price and that is exactly what I got. There were no hassles, no shenanigans, no back and forth with the manager,no ""hidden costs and fees"" and no pressure. They show you up front and in writing what their cost is on the vehicle and they explain to the penny what your cost is for the vehicle which, incidentally, was the best price that I had found. I'll not shop for a vehicle anywhere else and recommend KCD without reservation. more

On Saturday, January 28, 2013 I went to Parks Chev in Kernersville, NC where I had bought a 2008 GMC 2500 ($18,995) five months early to trade the vehicle. I had found a 2004 Dodge Ram for $15, 995 on there site. The sale person I had dealt with was very nice and very helpful. To began with it look like a pack of dogs at the door waiting to attack you as you came in. The NEW person who checked out my trade the came in with a offer of better than $4,000.00 that they wanted in difference between the two vehicle. He advised me that vehicle value had gone down on my vehicle but there is no way that much would have taken place. They use a BLACK book to determine the value of my vehicle. Well it look like the big dog has falling down and gone \r to pot since the New building has gone up. \r \r I went down the street to Kernersville Dodge. They were very business. After waiting Mary Badgett became available and from that point on I knew what a difference there was in buying a vehicle was. Got a great deal on a 2008 Dodge Ram with 35,00 miles on it. All of the staff was of great assistance . \r \r So if you are looking to trade for a use vehicle DO NOT got to Parks unless you have lots of money because they must pay for the new building on the back of former customers but want you to believe they are still the best in town to do business with. The BIG DOG no longer runs in Kernersville and had better go down the street to Kernersville Dodge to get away from the pack. \r \r more

Worst auto buying experience ever!!! I live in Indiana and had the vehicle shipped, upon receiving it on November 23rd I was given a Indiana out of state vehicle inspection form from the driver Daniel, was told to have it filled out by the Indiana BMV and return it to the dealership, the following day I took the form to my local BMV, they would not touch it and was told, sir you are the only person that can register your vehicle. So I called Will Sanchez the sales associate to inform him of what was happening, he told me not to worry about it and they will be taking care of registering my vehicle for me, on December 13th I receive an email from Alysia Howell the out of state title clerk, requesting the form completed and returned, I then inform her what I was told by the Indiana BMV, she said that's not true I have a lot of experience, I've registered many vehicles for the state of Indiana and that a police officer can complete the form. The form was completed and returned back to her on December 14th, my registration was not submitted to the Indiana BMV until January 9th! The anticipated registration fees on my purchase agreement were $978.54! when visiting my local BMV they said no way! I informed Alysia and she said whatever the total was the difference would be refunded. On January 14th I received a check for $112.37 which brings me to $866.17, Indiana BMV only collected $714.17 which included a $21 Late/Delinquency fee!!! I was overcharged $152, and absorbed a $21 Late/Delinquency fee for their tardiness! After requesting my $173 returned, Alysia said there was a service fee for out of state title work, not according to the Indiana BMV, the total was $714.17. The dealer charges a documentation fee of $499.50, which should cover anything else! I tried to contact management at the dealer, left voice mails and no calls were returned!!! Avoid this dealer!!!! more

At the end of last year I purchased a Ram 2500 from Kernersville Dodge. I am from Texas and handled the entire purchase over the internet and the phone. I found the dealership to be very professional and courteous, they dealt with me very competitive and delivered 500 miles one way free. I flew my driver to the half way point and met with their rollback and made the transfer. I would recommend them to anyone. more

Great experience for me and my wife as we purchased a truck for our son. The salesman (Omar) stayed late to help meet our needs and it was on Christmas Eve too. The financial guy was very nice and professional too! Big inventory to get what you want. All around good experience!! I would recommend this dealership. more

Check the used autos out throughly. The 1st truck I looked at had a ticking noise in the motor, & ther rear power windows did not work at all. Also it had 2 new looking tires on the front & two bad tires on the rear of a different manufacturer. The second truck I looked at I bought, it seemed ok, till I got it home, it is going to have to have about $3000.00 worth of engine work on it. The salesman was ok , but the finance manager probably should be in some other trade other than retail, & having to speak with the public. He was VERY RUDE!!! Pushy & obnoxious... I do not recommend buying from this dealership. Hind sight is 20-20 more
