Excellent and Friendly 2/23/2011

No work is done without prior approval, all repair needs are fully explained and I have never had an unnecessary work recommended. more

Needed Tires? 2/18/2011

I went in for an oil change and a tire rotation for the 2009 Nissan Rouge with 22K miles. I was told I needed (4) new tires, that my current tires were down to 2-32nd. I went to 2 other shops after leaving your facility and they confirmed my tires were NOT in need of replacement. They both thought I should be able to get atleast another 10K-20K out of the current ones. I'm very disappointed in the apparent "upsell" that was trying to forced upon me. For this reason my husband and I will be taking our business elsewhere. I needed a freindly, honest auto shop to take care of my car, not one just trying to make a sale. Thank you. more

Bad Diagnosis 2/16/2011

that I would have to replace my head gaskets to the tune of $2,400. They told me they did chemical testing on the oil and they were absolutely sure this was the only remedy. Went and got a second opinion who told me it was the intake manifold gasket that needed to be replaced. Paid $1,200 instead of Kirkwood's $2,400. Kirkwood Auto not only almost cost me an extra $1,200 - but they even refused a refund for their mistaken diagnosis. more
