Wasted sales rep 8/25/2012

I can only rate my review based on the sales rep which arrive smelling like gin & sweating bullets.\r I let him go through this presentation which seemed okay.\r Then he told me a price & got upset because I told him I still have to get another quote because he was the first.\r He didn't even give me his estimate in writing.\r He just gathered his things and marched out the door.\r Needless to say I won't even consider this place. more

RIP OFF!!! 11/17/2011

I replaced all the Windows in my house to start with Scott lied through his teeth about the efficiency of the Windows. Told him I wanted triple pane and received double pane. The Windows all leak air they claim there is to much humidity in the house ran a dehumidifier still sweat from cold air leaking through. The seals have mold where air is coming through the sills are molding from all the condensation and the bottom of each window has mold growing . The original Windows (single pane) didn't even leak as bad. Customer service is rude they made promises to fix defective screens the over a year later hasn't been fixed. They never cleaned them after installation all around poor service. Wish I would have done more research before wasting my hard earned money. Now film have to replace them again. They pressure you to buy on the spot for a little discount very shady business. STAY CLEAR OF THESE RIP OFF ARTISTS!!!!! more

Horrible costomer service 10/27/2011

I was blown away with how rude they were to me on the phone when I had questions. The make empty promises for free products if you have an in home estimate and if you buy a house full of windows. The site claims to be proud of their costumer service but it was HORRIBLE. I spent 10 grand on windows and never saw any of the promised promotions! Go elsewhere! more

NO Warranty 9/17/2011

Not a lifetime warranty. I purchesed windows fron Jack's in 1997 and was satisfied for a few years. The windows began fogging up and they replaced a few. Now there are 5 more windows that have fogged because of poor workmanship and they will not stand by them. They told me they do not make the windows and their supplier won't replace them. They told me I could pay them to come measure the glass and also pay to have them to get replacements. The service rep told me they have several unhappy customers with the same scenario, but the owner decided to handle it this way. I asked if the owner is the same guy in the cheezy commercials and she said he is. Now I have good reason to dislike that guy. \r I would recommed that you go elsewhere for your windows because Jack's warranty is not real. I think Jack believes that his customers will move before he has to honor the bogus warranty claim. I surely did not save any money by using Jack's. more

Disappointed 9/16/2011

Well, I have seen some very good reviews of this company and wonder if I am crazy. I think I am a relatively easygoing person but we had the opposite experience. We picked Jacks because of all the good reviews but he had issues from the very beginning. We ordered windows for our entire house and a back french door. They told us everything would be in in 2 weeks. After waiting 2 weeks we called to find out the status. After a week, we got a call back saying that they didn't even order them because of some issue with measuring the door. It took another week to get someone out to remeasure. In total the original 2 weeks turned into 5 weeks. They were finally installed and the crew was great. Since installation we have had them out 4 times to look at one of my large windows that isn't closing. After replacing 2 window panes, we are still having the same problem. I guess there is a reason they give you a lifetime warranty. BUT I am tired of taking time off work to have them out more

this is one of the best experiences i have had with a home improvement company. you would not believe how professonal they are, you won't believe how low their pricesare, and the quality of work is fantastic! the only gripe i have about the company is how annoying it is to get ahold of one of the managers - i had to wait on hold for 3 minutes, although they did mention that he was busy with a call and had another call lined up. oh well, great job!!!!! more

Pricing was really good 8/3/2011

Good job putting in my entry door anda patio slider. looks great, and a lot smoother than what i did have. we'll see if they're as great as the salesman said this winter, but the pricing was really good. found out about these guys from my aunt, she likes hers too. i guess a neighbor kid threw a brick at her patio door and they fixed the glass for free, two years after she bought it. ask about the buy one get one more

this was the most knoledgeable company of the 4 we had out. I am glad that we finally brought our purchasing to a close. The salesman had been with the company for six years, where the other 3 hadn't been there very long, or didn't really talk about the product at all. I was mostly happy with many of the exclisives that their window offered and how they had three panes (the only other company that offered that was over 800 per window). the warranty was the best too and it looks like the installation should be great. will update this after the installation if there are any problems but I have a good feeling about it.... more

My experience with Jack's was great from begining to end. My company representitive was great, and everything he showed me became a reality at installation. My heating bills went down and I'm sure my property values went up. I would tell everyone to get windows from them. more

Very pleased with the windows 7/21/2011

Jack's Wholesale Windows have the lowest aer infiltration. I did compare their product with their competitors. On Price/Quality the ratio are far better. My house have now this windows installed. Me and my wife are very pleased with the windows and recommend them to others. more

I recently purchased windows from jacks and i live in Portage Mi. First of all i would like to say that everyone was very friendly and polite . I called and they set a time around my schedule. They were very prompt and professional and came in at $500 below hansons. The installation was quick and they really seem to care about our home, my wife and I are very happy and would gladly recommend jacks to anyone . We have had nothing but top notch service the whole way through the process. more

My estimate was set at a time convenient for me and my salesman was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had several other estimates and Jacks was by far the best buy for my dollar.
