We had 5 estimates they are they cheapest for triple pane. The windows came in three weeks. The installers did a very good job and cleaned up well. I will recommend to freinds

Not a lifetime warranty. I purchesed windows fron Jack's in 1997 and was satisfied for a few years. The windows began fogging up and they replaced a few. Now there are 5 more wind...

pretty good job 4/18/2010

jacks did a pretty decent job on our house. it doesn't look half bad. did 5 in front of my house, probably will do the rest in the fall. they were fairly easy to get along with and the service was pretty good.\r \r their salespaople and installers are very friendly. i liked the specials they had going when i called. more

great experience with jack's windows 4/16/2010

Had a GREAT experience with this company. Jack's is one company that isn't outsourcing it to some country on the other side of the planet. You can call 24 hours a day and get a live voice, a live AMERICAN voice. I had a problem with my picture window - a kid in our neighborhood threw a rock at it and it cracked - and they came out, free of charge, and replaced it. They even replaced the screens after the recent storm that we had. I've had them for almost a year now, and I do not regret my decision. I am already saving a lot of money on my heating/cooling. My old windows had big gaps in them. I think that the news windows will be paid off from energy savings and the tax credit in the next couple of years, and I can actually set my thermostat at 70 degrees!!! Only complaint is that the installers forgot to caulk the inside of one of the windows, but they came back out within the week. Call them. more

Had a crack in a bay window out front. I see the commercials every day, so I knew who I'd be calling first.\r \r Did a fabulous job. They look perfect. I am considering doing the rest of the house next year or in the fall.\r \r Everyone was very friendly, helpful. I got a live voice every time I called - even later at night. more

Had out four companies for estimate, Jack's was the least. Their salesperson beat the other bids by $100. I also liked their window the most. The installers were very friendly, the salesman was not pushy and genuinely seemed interested in helping.\r \r The windows were in quicker than I thought - less than 4 weeks - and they look GREAT! I have had comments on them from 6 different neighbors. Our house stands out from the others. I would refer them to anyone who asks!! more

overall pretty good experience. nice people in sales and installation, very friendly. \r \r window seems pretty decent, can't wait to try it out this winter in the cold. salesman said that i'd probably see 40 - 60% energy savings with 3 pane, we'll see if he's right. \r \r took the install crew an extra 1/2 day because they ran into trouble, but other than that all went well. more

good job 4/9/2010

estimator was out to my house late february. they were the 2nd estimate, but decided to cancel the 3rd because they were the price i was looking to spend for - what looked like - a good product.\r \r were installed early april. look great! installers were friendly, obviously knew what they were doing. my wife and i love em. i can't wait to get the bay window done next spring when we get our tax credit. tax cred it is for NEXT year though, so keep that in mind.\r \r would give their number to friends/family. my sister is having them out to bid on her windows too. more

Great experience start to finish. Salesperson was very nice, helpful, and not pushy. Price was a third less than everyone else. Installers were very nice, courteous, great work, cleaned up.\r \r A+! more

We Like Them 3/29/2010

Jack's Wholesale installed our windows in the middle of last winter. Our salesperson was very helpful in the decision, and surprisingly easy to get along with. He did not pressure us to buy, and in fact suggested options which saved us money (he said we wouldn't like the grids). \r \r The installers were also very nice, and did great work. My dad is an ex-carpenter and he watched the installation of almost all of the windows. They got his praises, so I guess they did a good job. \r \r The pricing was also very good as they saved us about forty-percent off of what we had been quoted by other companies - both of which had tried to talk us into signing tonight to get their "great deal."\r \r The best part of the purchase so far was our consumer's bill, which is cut in half from what it was with our old wood windows. The only problem we had was that two of the windows came in with ripped screens, but they came back and fixed them within a week. I have referred them to friends and family. more

experience with jacks 3/29/2010

We purchased windows from Jack's and they were installed about a week ago. Overall the experience was pretty good. The installers were polite, the guy who came out to price the windows was helpful, and they were always ready to answer our questions. The only problem I had was that they had to reschedule my measure - but I guess there was a death in the family of the measureman.\r \r The windows look great, but the best part was the price. I had 4 companies come out from the GR Homeshow and Jack's was lower than all but one - it was within $100 - and they were selling triple instead of double pane with a much better warranty. I would recommend. more

This "Insider" Site is Laughable 1/16/2010

I have used Jack's products and worked at the company. The complaints on this site are a joke. The standard agreement that the company uses clearly specifies that the manufacturer is responsible for the product warranty. Would you expect your local car dealer to fix your Chrysler if/when they go out of business? How is Jack's supposed to fix a window that they can't even get parts for? It is unfortunate, but now the company deals mostly from the largest debt-free window manufacturer in the country.\r \r "Insider" Pages is also a joke. It is easier to post a "review" than scribble on a bathroom wall. The reports on this site have absolutely nothing to back them up. There aren't even any real names or addresses. If I wanted I could have posted every one of these reviews in a couple hours - and I'm sure that disgruntled former employees and the competition do. \r \r Jack's has an A rating for every store at the bbb.com. Try Judysbook.com, or yahoo for some more legitimate reviews. more

Employee,customer and advocate 1/12/2010

I was nervous when I first read this online. The truth was explained to me by jack himself.\r Jacks is being slandered by a disgruntled employee. Doesn't it seem just a little bit obvious that the 6 happy customers are all 5 stars and the balance are 1 star. In several different reviews a poster even acknowledges that he formerly worked for the Company.\r We apologize to our loyal customers for any anxiety they may experience by seeing this in print. Take comfort knowing he is actively and aggressively pursuing a legal remedy for any slanderous posting.\r When your window volume runs into the millions it would be ridiculous to think there would never be a problem. Customer satisfaction is Jack's goal and the Better Business Bureau will testify to that.\r Don't hesitate to use Jack's for all your window needs more

My wife and I chose Jack's because we were referred by my in laws. We had several quotes for our windows and were shocked at the difference in price. Jack's were not only cheaper but the service was great. They even gave us a gift certificate for a turkey for our purchase. more

Great experience at Jacks 10/28/2009

My experience with Jacks was a wonderful one from the time I phoned the store until my windows were installed. My estimate was set at a time convenient for me and my salesman was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had several other estimates and Jacks was by far the best buy for my dollar. The installers were prompt, professional and did a beautiful job. I could not be happier with my windows and will use Jacks again for every home improvement need I have. more

Siding 7/16/2007

Do not use this company without expecting to be frustrated. Poor communication between their sub contractors and office results in us not knowing what is going on. 2 months later, problems are still not fixed. Three people (at different times) looked at damaged trim they installed so it can be ordered and still, we do not know if it was ordered. We have never had a call from the office informing us of schedule changes; plus they make you feel like you are bothering them. In conclusion, if you want to be left in the dark, frustrated due to the lack of commutation and results, this is the company for you! more

Poor service 6/8/2005

I had 7 windows installed by this place and they did not do a very good job. I had a problem with leakage in the first month and I couldnt even get anyone to come out and look at it. The capping on the outside of the windows is horrible. Even has open areas where water can get into. more
