JA Bertsch was awesome to work with. My home was built in 2012 so when I woke up a few days ago (Monday) to my heat dropping quickly, I was shocked. I found out the furnace wasn't under warranty so I knew I needed to have it serviced. I had opted to not have the routine maintenance completed by RDI in fall as I had been reading poor reviews and was hesitant to go through that experience. Having seen JA Bertsch while driving down Government Way, I decided to give them a call....at 6:30 am. I was happily surprised to not only reach their front desk at 6:30 am but that they were willing to come out the same day to take a look. They made an appointment for 2-4 pm; however, I got a call around 1 pm that they were early so they came out earlier than expected. They quickly found the problem to be the motor, said they could get it ordered that day and would hope to have it within 24 hours. Jeff discussed the routine maintenance plan, or Club Pricing, with me, which I opted to do as it would actually save me money. While waiting for the new motor, they also loaned me a few space heaters to get through these very chilly days we're experiencing.
They called me Tuesday to get me on the calendar for Thursday morning but then called me back that they had an opening Wednesday morning. They came out on the early side of the window they had provided me, had it all done and wrapped up quickly and made me feel much better.
HVAC repairs are one of those areas consumers seem worried about (by consumers, I mean myself...). There's this natural fear that the problem and solution being provided might not be the issue and that the bill quickly gets out of hand. JA Bertsch was so reasonably priced, very clear and upfront with the costs, and made me feel assured that it would be 100% completed. I would definitely trust them again to take care of my heating and cooling needs.
