This was just an ok massage. The woman was friendly- but a little too friendly. She kept talking throughout the massage... when I'm getting a massage I just want to relax and I'm not interested in small talk! She also kept making jerky moves and it was just awkward at times. I've had many massages over the years and this was probably the worst. I don't want to give 1 star because everyone seemed friendly, it was clean, and it was a nice atmosphere, but I was completely unimpressed with the lady's skills as a massager and I did not leave feeling very relaxed at all. I don't think I'll be back. more

Nadine is great I feel pampered from the time I walk into the room until the service is over! She is si good and I love all she does and feel truly pampered!! The receptionist at the desk is always helpful and accommodating. Thankyou,Nancy more

Misled 8/29/2011

My wife and I scheduled a couples massage and expected it to be in a private room or reasonably secluded area. Our appointment, however, was scheduled at the main pool at the Hale Koa hotel. The environment was loud and noisy. This was not at all the experience we'd been promised. My wife was extremely disappointed, but insisted I get my massage anyway. The actual massage was very good, but the overall experience can be improved. more

First Class! 8/29/2011

Had my brows retouched this weekend by Teri Goo and as usual, the service overall was awesome and a very welcome feel by the staff. Teri has done my permanent make-up brows and liner for years and has always done such a great job that I get compliments from girlfriends and strangers alike. I always tell them that having it done by Teri makes me look like I just had a facelift (lol)... it certainly makes my day when that happens. I am sure you will be happy with her artwork if you are thinking of getting yours done here. more

25 Minute Deep Tissue Massage 8/24/2011

The masseuse did a great job giving me a deep tissue masssage. However, she ended it at 20 minutes, but I did not say anything because she left the room before I looked at the clock. Also, when I booked my appointment, I was told that the massage was going to be 30 minutes for $40, but at the time I checked in, I was told it was for 25 minutes, and when I paid, i was told the massage was $50. I would have appreciated the correct information on the spa service I booked for an appointment. Otherwise, the massage was very good. more

So-so haircut - but awesome scalp massage 8/22/2011

I thought it would help to bring a picture of a type of hairstyle I wanted to achieve. Although I left with more style than I had arrived, it wasn't quite the look I was going for. Also, when I got home and put my hair up, I notice that a part of my hair was chopped off that didn't seem right. Nonetheless, she was a great person to talk to and I loved the scalp massage she gave before my hair cut. more

Great - once you get past the front desk. 8/21/2011

Have been here several times for facials, waxing, and haircut. The estheticians and stylists are fantastic and I'd recommend them all; I just wish the receptionists would be as professional, organized, and considerate. On my most recent visit, the receptionist was leaning on the counter, talking to a friend, and eyed me up and down as I walked in - not a friendly feeling. Slowly disconnected herself from her conversation before greeting me and getting me checked in. When I checked out, she started talking to someone else while processing my payment, and switched her attention almost completely over to them - handed me my card and receipt without making eye contact, didn't say thank you or goodbye, and walked off with the person she was talking to. Rude. I wish this had been unusual, unfortunately, it hasn't been, even though I've dealt with at least three different receptionists there. more

Thank you for making my daughter's hula performance a memorable one for her. She looked so beautiful dancing up on the stage. Lori was wonderful and patient with us. She really catered to our needs. I learned a few beauty tips along the way. Eric was very patient. He had to straightened and curled my hair but had to straighten again because it won't take the curls due to previous treatment. I'm sorry I forgot her name but she did a great job with my daughter's hair. Overall it was all worth it. We'll sure come back. Excellent service. Mahalo! more
