I had a massive flood in my home and my rugs were destroyed. I was devastated, and while the rugs weren't the top of my priorities, I did want to get them fixed. Six months later, things have finally settled down and I called Flat Rate to come try and restore the rug. They were amazing - professional, timely, and friendly, not to mention the outstanding work they did on my rug. I'm so pleased with their work and can't thank them enough! more

My friend referred me Flat Rate Carpet while I was looking for carpet cleaning companies to get my expensive rug cleaned. Some told me to get a vacuum shampoo and do it myself but I didn't wanted to take risk of doing these experiments myself on my expensive rug. Earlier I was worried and I didn't know what kind of service they would provide but after having my work done I can easily say it was a good decision to get it cleaned by professionals like Flat Rate Carpet Cleaners guys. My rug looks like NEW! These guys are quick, efficient and friendly! I am pleased with their service.I highly recommend these guys to all those who are looking to get their job done efficiently yet without hurting their pockets. more

Amazing cleaners! 11/18/2011

Working with them has been a pleasure. I started a recarpeting project in my house and they were with me every step of the way. They helped answer my questions about some things I was uncertain of and gave me some invaluable advice to help me make the best possible decision. The actual work was done quickly and done well. They even use environmentally friendly products, which was kind of nice to think that I'm helping the world go green. All in all, I had a great experience and would definitely use them again! more

I found this company on google. I had never heard of them before but i was pressed for time for a rug cleaning so i set an appointment with them right away. The technician came over four hours later gave me a price and cleaned it right away. The next day i noticed that one stain still remained. I called them back and they came the same day to redo the cleaning. After the second time around my carpet looked great. Although it took a few times to clean my rug i was happy that they were persistent. more

Very Pleased 11/8/2011

First time I hired them and they did a terrific job - cleaned a sofa, loveseat, the carpeting in the whole apartment and an old, but cherished rug. Very good price, did good work - got a few stains out of the carpet, too. Best prices I've had for this kind of work. more

Friendly expedited service! 9/18/2011

After the recent hurricane Irene, my basement had been flooded and there was this horrible smell wafting up the stairwell into my house. I called them and they scheduled me an appointment for the same day. They came and did a complete water damage restoration on my basement. Including water extraction, dehumidifiers and blowers, along with deodorizing and disinfecting and mold/mildew treatments. three technicians slaved away at restoring my basement for four hours. They did an amazing job and I can rest at ease now that I know that my family is safe from the dangers of black mold and now that the awful smell is gone! more

Local and dependable 9/7/2011

I just moved to the neighborhood and wanted the carpets cleaned in the house so that we would start out completely fresh. My neighbor suggested I call flat rate a trusted local service provider and hire them for the work. I was a little skeptic at first but agreed on having a technician come for a free consultation. I was happy that he came prepared to do the work and took the time to show me all the different cleaning methods he had. I decided to hire him and he did a great job. My wife came home to a lovely fresh smelling house and the money was well worth the smile it put on her face. more

Great Rug Cleaners 9/6/2011

Had them clean a pair of my favorite rugs after one had stains from mud and the other got hit with a good amount of marinara, they got all the stains out and delivered them as promised! Very nice prices and fast service. more

Terrific Work! 8/11/2011

At first I was hesitant because they didn't want to give me a quote over the phone, but I took the free estimate anyway thinking in the least I would receive a free consultation and know more details as to how I should go about cleaning my carpets. The technician was well mannered and took his time to explain all the different treatments available. I decided to green light the service, and he did a wonderful job. My carpets look spectacular. Gets the Stains Out! 8/10/2011

I had a 4 beautiful old rugs that were pretty badly stained, but before tossing them and buying new ones, I had Flat Rate pick them up for cleaning. They got out all the stains, the rugs look new, and I spent less money on cleaning the old rugs than I would've spent on buying 1one or two new ones! more

Got Out Bad Smells From My Carpets 8/9/2011

I had my sister stay with me for a few weeks and after she left, I couldn't wait til she left - she brought her two dogs and the smell was horrible! Flat Rate came out the day she left and got the carpets smelling like new before I went to bed that night. Great work!! more

Great work Flat Rate! 8/3/2011

A pipe burst in our apartment and managed to get a large part of the carpeting wet. We tried for days to dry the area but ended up with just a stinky, mildew mess. We called Flat Rate Carpet Cleaners and they came over that day, washed the area, and by the time it dried the mildew stink was gone and you'd never know that anything had happened there. I definitely recommend these guys. more
