Good Price, Good Service 2/18/2010

A pipe burst in my ceiling, and I tried to dry the carpets myself, but after a week the carpeting in my apartment was covered in stains, and it made the whole place smell like mildew. Flat Rate sent over one of their guys to take a look at the situation. I picked out new carpeting, and they ripped up the old stuff, dried the floor and treated it for mold, and installed my new carpet, in two days! my heirloom carpets 2/18/2010

I inherited a beautiful Oriental rug that had spent some time in storage. The rug had been attacked by moths and was very faded, but it was valuable, and not only in monetary terms. I was afraid I had lost this heirloom forever, but I didn't want to give up on it without trying. I called Flat Rate Carpet, and two weeks after I made the call my rug was in my home, as good as new. The color had been restored and the moth damage was completely repaired. Thanks to this company I can keep our family heirloom around for a few more generations. more

Quick and Clean 2/18/2010

The building next to mine has been under construction for months. The dust comes in through the window and gets all over my furniture and carpeting. I found these guys on the web, and they offered to come to my house to give me an estimate. I liked the price the guy gave me, and he was pretty friendly, so I decided to do the work as soon as the contruction ended. They did a great job. more

Sofa Savers 2/9/2010

A few weeks ago I moved, and the movers ripped the upholstery on my sofa. As if that wasn't bad enough the sofa was so dirty I didn't even want to sit on it. My friend gave me the number of Flat Rate Carpet. They came to my home that day to give me a price in person. The price was great, and he did the work right then and there. Only a few hours after I called my sofa was repaired, clean and dry. Now I can relax in my new home, and when I need my carpets cleaned I'll know who to call! My Antique Carpets 12/29/2009

My carpet had regular stains the one day I looked(I thought let it get cleaned), so I used my trusty google and found flat rate and called. The telephone representative gave me the advice of doing the job the next day. The technician came promptly at 11am and told me the proceedure and assured me the success of my carpet coming out reborn. He collected the carpet and said it would be back as soon as it is cleaned. I received it two weeks later where it is like new. The whole experience was great!!! The whole project felt like a labour of love Pros: Great service more

I had flat rate carpet come out to clean the area rugs in my apartment. The rugs were picked up and delivered back to me for free and in a timely manner. When returned, the rugs looked great and all the stains were out. I am very happy with the service I received from flat rate and would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone. more

Don't Expect On Time Delivery 11/6/2009

I have been stranded three times with their return delivery service. There have been a number of problems in receiving my rugs after cleaning: ""We have two appointment systems and you were in the wrong one"", the traffic is too heavy to deliver, our driver had a personal emergency. They do not call if they are running late and do not honor their own set times. I would not use them again. When I called Flate Rate Carpet they were there within the hour. They were happy to tell me they could get the stains out of my chairs, take my money and leave with the furniture. I was told it would take 10-14 days. Three months later I couldn't get anyone to call me back. I called about 5 different numbers a day and either there was no answer or someone would call me back. I finally scheduled a delivery date for my chairs and nobody ever showed up or called. It took me two days to get someone to call me back to reschedule delivery and they told me that the chairs have lighter spots where the stains were. I still haven't seen them yet. Cons: it took them forever and they never return phone calls more

I wasted a ton of time by calling around to a number of companies before I settled on Flat Rate Wood Floors to take care of stripping and waxing my wood floor. Let me save you that same hastle by telling you to look no further for taking care of your wood floors. As a very satisfied customer, trust me that you will be too if you use them! more

I called these guys in to clean my sofa, 5 rooms and some stairs. They did it when they delivered the area rugs that they picked up last week. Pros: Good work, Good price. Cons: Eagerness for me to write a Citysearch review!!! more

i wanted to remodel my house so i thought about installing wood floor in the kitchen even tho if my wife didn't wanted to, she thought it was gonna be expensive and it wouldn't look good, so i diceded to go ahead with it anyways; so i called flat rate, not only wasnt that expensive , my wife looooooves it, it acctually looks amazing.
