Good Customer Service but Product Quality was Lacking 10/30/2013

While Doors Direct was friendly and had good customer service and follow up ( as well as timely delivery of the product), we had several quality issues. There were dents in the door when it was received, the door handles were not flush upon installation and there were several instruction gaps. In addition, and most importantly, I ran into a major installation issue when I found that the vertical tracks were not dimensioned correctly. I had to go out and buy a saw to be able to cut the vertical track down 1.5 inches to get it to align properly. I would have tried to have it corrected but with a garage door not currently installed and the potential for weeks before it would be repaired, I had to repair it myself to get it installed. Very disappointing. more

When I ordered the doors, we discused what I wanted and when I could pick them up. Went to Houston to pickup the doors (which is a 1.5hr drive) waited a little bit to be load, and the loader loaded the doors, thats when I took a closer look at them and noticed these weren't the doors I order. After a few conversations, the company that was making the doors ask for a few hours to remake them. Ok. The people making the doors were nice. Finally the correct doors are on the trailer, made it home and the chain falls are missing made a phone call and it was taken care. The company that was making the doors said there were ordered wrong, I don't know it was all taken care of. These doors wad the bedt price I could find for the price and quality. more

WOW easy install 10/29/2013

I loved how easy it was to install these doors. We had bought 5 model 1000 the tilt-up design was great and 1 model 2000 (12' by 13') which we were able to lift and install with a backhoe. Still I know we saved $2500 installing these doors ourselfs. I will purchase from Doors Direct again! more

I rally like my new door, I searched for while for the door for my building and am glad I found doors direct. The door I bought was easy to install and has worked very well. I have recommended this company to several people in the last few months. more

Excellent customer service and quality 10/29/2013

I placed my order online and received a follow up call from Sheryl to verify my order details. She was extremely knowledgable about the details of the product and gave me some excellent advice about the fit of the door. She recommended that I get a slightly taller door if the headroom of my building would allow. By increasing the size I ended up with a taller opening and the door rolls up completely above the door opening which reduces the chance of damage while moving objects in and out of the building. The door arrived in perfect condition and within a hour the door was installed. I assembled the track system and door on the floor inside my building and had my neighbor help me stand the assembled unit up against the opening. I finished the install, adjusted the door...done! Looks great, works perfect, can't beat the price! more

Quality product, prompt delivery great value! 10/29/2013

I found this company online while looking for an alternative to the garage door company my architect suggested. Doors Direct had a similar looking product with a similar R value that was hundreds of dollars less. There was a mix up with the style but the driver took them back and they were promptly replaced with no hassle. I also purchased two garage door openers with a keypad at a very reasonable price and no additional shipping. I would definitely recommend Doors Direct! more

Excellant shipping of two quility doors that were in excellant shape when received. Would like to see better more clear instructions on door self-installation. Everything else was great and will order additional doors from this company when needed. Thank-you. more

oder door after a month still no door call one week later dealer call said have door and doop off door. Had t o call again there was no hardware to install door and three day of going back and forth I final got everything. A month and a half very slow. more
