Our experience with Doors Direct was very smooth. We ordered roll up doors from them without any issues. With the way businesses are nowadays, no one pays attention to detail. When there are no problems, the experience really seems to stand out more. more

Got the Door I ordered 11/4/2013

I am glad they require you to talk to a person besides the Internet order. This cleared up a potential problem of the door's height. It would have been too short if ordered by opening size. Thanks! more

Wrong size door orderd by company and wrong door sent. 11/4/2013

A custom role up door was ordered with several sketches and pictures showing the size needed, the wrong size door was ordered and and shipped for my door opening, My company was left with the option of ordering an other door and pay freight or to make alterations to install the wrong door. We with a large expense installed the door that was the wrong size. With all the information and pictures given this should of never happened! more

Very pleased with my experience 11/4/2013

Installation went well, I modified the spring assembly by adding another bracket to the base of the second spring. Winding tension spring was quite experience........my door required 8.5 turns of tension, but worked well with Liftmaster 3900. more

I purchased a custom garage door from Doors Direct 11/3/2013

I installed my 15 foot sectional garage door with window and insulation this weekend. It went pretty well, I think the quality of the door, (for the price) was quite good. I was dissapointed in the clarity of the directions, and the need to find specific particulars hidden in disparate parts of the manual. The hardware kit was a bit lacking, had to go to the home center to purchase screws and drilled angle iron that was not supplied. The last issue was one of the windows was broken in shipment, and the door sections were packed in such a way as you couldn't inspect them on delivery. So, I was a bit dissapointed, but the price was reasonable enough to make the extra work worthwhile. I haven't ccontacted them yet on the window issue, I'm hoping that will be a ok experience.... more

I have a small garage and needed a unique solution to replace a old solid one piece wood garage door. A standard garage door would require low hanging ceiling tracks that would obstruct space in my small garage. The roll-up door was the best fit and price. more
