3-26-14: Going today to get my highlights and color. Got to cover the great! Best deal of all, I'll be using my $80 in coupons I got from buying gift cards at Christmas time. Every little bit helps! Can't Wait!\r \r 1-22-2014: I look forward to my haircut coming up today at Cortello. It's like going to the spa for my hair. Fun, Hip atmosphere!\r Also, I really love the Christmas sale that Cortello Salon had. For the last 2 years they have given $50 free for each $200 gift certificate that is purchased. I just go ahead and get a few gift cards to last me all year. That is a wonderful savings that I can use for haircuts, coloring or products! Thanks Cortello for making the holidays special.\r \r 2-2-13: Cortello is the only place I trust to color, cut and style my hair! I love the fun atmosphere and commitment to excellence! I paid a little over $200 for the worst color and cut. I showed Kaitland a picture and she said she could give me the same results...no problem. Two hours later and four different hair stylists checking my hair, the color would not lift. I could hear them whispering to each other, but never once did they come over to me and tell me they were not going to be able to achieve the color I wanted. Nor did they attempt to correct it. The girl who cut my hair cut it uneven and I have spent the entire weekend finding pieces that need to be cut so its even on the length. I didn't get an Ombre look, I got a ""Hair Cuttery"" look. more

This is by far the best salon I have ever been to. It s beautiful inside and everyone is so welcoming. Kayla does a great job with short haircuts and I would never leave this salon as long as I'm in Jacksonville! more

I have had 10 hairstylists in under 4 years here in Jacksonville. I am a natural redhead but I've got some grey going on, and for some unknown reason, NO ONE in this town can do reds properly.Then I found Cortello! Erica works magic with my color! It's vibrant, yet it looks like God gave it to me. The foils are even and my hair never looks dried out after a color/highlight. It always looks shiny and bouncy. Now on to her cutting--I have very unruly curly hair and I've been trying to grow it out, so she's trimmed it but it always looks really even and stylish. What's truly impressive is her blowout ability!! She can do what no other stylist has ever been able to do for me--blowdry my hair so well that I don't go right home and redo it!! Seriously, I need to have plans the night I get my hair done b/c it looks phenomenal! If you're waffling, call Erica. She's great! Also, the Kerastase products have really improved my overall hair condition. That elixir is like liquid gold! more

Great Salon with fantastic staff. Everyone is friendly and professional. Appointments are made and changed quick and easily. Pricing is discussed prior to start of visit (which I love). This eliminates the element of surprise when you get up to the counter to pay. I love this salon.\r \r Hannah is my stylist! more

I found Cortello Salon online and decided it was time to do away with my long hair. As a male with no experience with salons, the search and initial visit were pretty intimidating....but the staff at Cortello was very welcoming and accommodating. My hair stylist (Brandon) knew exactly how to cut my hair and left me with no regrets over losing hair that took me almost 2 years to grow. Remember folks---you get what you pay for. Don't cut corners with your hair. Do it right. Go to Cortello! more
