I went here based on good reviews. I've had 2 haircuts- those were OK. But the first person who did my hair blew dried it out and styled it in a way that I told her I'd never eve...

Whether you are new in town or not - you won't regret going to Cortello for any services!! I love this Salon!! My stylist Kayla is amazing but I am certain they all are! I get so many compliments on my hair and have referred everyone there!! The salon itself is so nice - very chic! You truly won't be disappointed!! more

FIRST CLASS SALON IN JACKSONVILLE 12/28/2010

Cortello is first class... from the customer service to the haircuts to the updated knowledge of the industry to the ambiance. I have searched 7+ years for a salon that meets all of the above criteria. My boyfriend also got an amazing haircut there! He has never been so happy about his haircut. We may not marry each other but we are married to this salon for sure:)!! more

I recommend everyone to Cortello Salon. Everyone that works there is truly talented and I trust them with my hair. I am extrememly picky about my cut and color and I leave everytime extremely satisified. The salon is decorated so cute and creative. It is an escape from real life and you can trust them with your hair. Worth every dime. :) more

Cortello is 5-star salon! 12/22/2010

As most women can attest...it is difficult finding a great stylist and salon! I have had the extreme pleasure of finding just the right place and person after many months of searching. Cortello is not only a gorgeous place to spend a few hours, but the staff is beyond reproach! I am always amazed at how friendly and inviting every employee is any time I call or visit the salon. My stylist, Erica, is fantastic! She is obviously well-trained, knows her craft and loves what she does. Her honest, Southern charm always puts me at ease and keeps me laughing. I am so thankful for Ryan and Courtney and hope that their dreamy salon fulfills all of their dreams! Kudos! more

my FAVORITE hair salon 12/21/2010

Cortello Hair Salon is where all Jacksonville women should go to get their hair done! All of my besties go there and luckily, they let mein on their secret. It's super convienient for those that live at the beach - it's so nice not to have to drive across town just to get some good highlights! They are always so accomodating and sweet from the second you walk in the door. The interior of the salon is new, crisp, and clean and the girls there know their stuff! Between their coloring, styling, and shampooing, I always walk out feeling like a new person! If you haven't experienced their invigorating shampoo yet - RUN, don't walk - to Cortello! more

Finally! A Salon that gets it! 12/15/2010

FINALLY, a salon that gets it!!! Hip, modern cool place...the plasma tvs playing soothing aquatic video, all of the couture fashion graphics on the wall, the hot pink/black colors, and all of the nice touches make it more than just a haircut....it's a pleasurable experience visually as well. The most comfortable neck rests in the sink, beautiful stylists with amazing hairstyles too! This is a top notch salon and I can't wait to go back! more

Cortello Salon offers a second to none experience. I am comfortable and happy from the moment I walk in. I am always greeted with a smiling face, offered a beverage, given a fabulous neck and scalp massage and leave with an amazing hair cut and color, feeling completely relaxed. Cortello is the perfect combination of a hip New York salon with a beachy at home personality. I can't wait until my next appointment!!! more

Best Salon in Jacksonville and the beaches! 11/23/2010

My daughter and I followed Erica from her previous salon when she left to join Cortello. She is an amazing stylist/colorist.....the best in my opinion! The salon is beautifully decorated and it just makes you feel ""happy"" from the minute you walk in the front door. No dark or drab decor at this salon! Unlike the previous salon we used to go to, Cortello is very well lit, so you can actually see yourself while your hair is being cut and styled. Sometimes it's the little details that take a salon from 3 or 4 star to a 5 star.......like offering you a beverage while you wait, comfortable salon chairs, beautiful decor, well appointed and clean bathrooms, top of the line products, and friendly staff with an obvious aim to satisfy their customers. Cortello Salon is all that and more! The owner has done an incredible job of creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and hiring the most experienced stylists in Jacksonville. Congratulations Cortello! more

Best Salon in Jax! 11/12/2010

I started going to Erica when she was in another Salon in Jax Beach. I wouldn't go to anyone else (she has been my stylist for about 4 yrs). We moved inland and I freaked out when that Salon told me she moved! I found her at Cortello and I have to say it is the most relaxing, beautiful, effortless salon I have ever been to! Not only is it amazing because Erica is there, but the ENTIRE staff is fantastic! I would recommend Erica for cut and color. She's the best ! more

Cortello Salon exceeds my high expectations! 11/10/2010

Anyone who knows me also knows how hard I am to please. Can't help myself - I just like the best and won't settle for less! When it comes to my hair I take my expectations to a whole new level - and Cortello Salon gives me what I want. Courtney has created a beautiful, relaxing environment and then been smart enough to surround herself with ridiculously talented people. Beautiful Hair Salon 9/4/2010

WOW! The hair salon is beautiful and my experience was great. The girls there were all very nice and extremely helpful. I found an online special for a ""hair make-over"" for this salon, and I booked my appointment online. Immediately after booking, I was given a call by one of their staff to do a phone consultation (very impressive) to find which stylist would fit my criteria the best. When I arrived at the salon, I was offered a beverage and only waited a few minutes. My stylist was Jessica - and she was really sweet =) I guess she moved to the Beach recently, but has been doing hair for 8-9 years in south Florida. Since this appointment, I went back for the Keratin Smoothing Treatment - and love it! Be prepared, because it did take a few hours - but well worth it! Nothing but good things to say about this place - very refreshing to find a good salon here! more

Sadly deceived 9/1/2010

I went to this salon to get a brazilian blowout. I was told by my stylist she was experienced at doing them. I got my service and during the process I realized it wasn't the same so I inquired i was told it was a brazilian keratin treatment, I ask for a brazilian blowout treatment. IT is a totally different product totally different technique and result. I would have asked for the knowck off version had I wanted it. I was specific, my beautiful highlights turned a brassy gold as a result of the cheap product and heat from the 400+ hot iron and I called the brazilian blowout company who advised of a salon for the future that rally carried and was certified in my product I had been using in Newport beach before I moved here. The salon is pretty and the girls there are too but my hair is not. more
