I went here based on good reviews. I've had 2 haircuts- those were OK. But the first person who did my hair blew dried it out and styled it in a way that I told her I'd never eve...

Best in town 4/5/2012

This is by far the best salon that I have been to in Jacksonville. The entire staff is very friendly from the front desk to the stylists. I love the atmosphere and look of the salon. It makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. When I went in for my first appointment I had a hairstyle in mind that I had been wanting to try for a year but hadn't quite worked up the courage to take that step. Jamie was amazing and went through all of my concerns with me and then followed it up with the amazing cut that I had been wanting! I will not go anywhere else for all of my hair needs! more

As Good As It Gets! 4/5/2012

Wonderful Salon! I've tried out several hair salons in Jacksonville and Cortello is by far the best. In fact they're the only salon to ever achieve the level of ""blonde"" I've always wanted! Thanks to Hannah and 10A! From the moment you walk through the door the entire staff is courteous and professional. From the abundant gossip magaiznes to keep you occupied and not to mention the wine, it's the perfect place to spend the afternoon. From someone looking to just keep the same look to a more adventurous customer wanting a change, Cortello can make it happen! \r more

Kate does a wonderful job on my hair every time, and she takes the time to listen to what I want and provide recommendations on what she thinks would look best. Cortello Salon is the best experience in color, cut and massage that you will have for your hair in Jacksonville, FL. My hair is growing coarse and difficult to manage. On my last visit, Courtney suggested the perfect color, and a little shorter hair style...It was exactly what I needed: trendy, but sophisticated. I trust her 100%. A day at Cortello is like a vacation for your hair. 2-24-12: update: I called Cortello to see if they could get my daughter ready for a beauty pageant. They were polite, professional and perfect for the job. My daughter loved the style and looked awesome at the pageant. more

An amazing experience! If you want to look and feel beautiful Cortello salon is the place to go! By the time I left not only did I get a magnificent hair cut but I was relaxed and rejuvenated. This is the place to go to make you feel like a million dollars!!! more

My Favorite Hair Salon... EVER! 2/15/2012

Cortello located in Jacksonville Beach on the same block as Mellow Mushroom and Salt Life is the best place for great services in the city. This is why I say so... As a girl who was a blond until her 13th birthday I have fought against the color of my hair for more years than I care to admit. Although I have a lot of hair, it is baby fine and if it is over-conditioned (or for that matter over-processed) it can look like a disaster. It took me years to find a professional who understood how to color my hair so that it would look and feel healthy and not the least bit coppery. I found such a professional at Cortello! I take full advantage of the Base Break service which extends the time between color treatments and helps to keep those annoying roots under control! The salon is always a happy retreat and I feel as though I've stepped into a posh Resort Spa at the beach. Treat yourself and enjoy! more

Leave Pampered and Pretty! 2/15/2012

Cortello offers two services I really love; they provide free bang trims - just stop in when you're feeling long! They also have a great treatment for colored hair - a base break - that you can get in between highlights to extend the life of your color and make your hair look natural. For me though, it's the atmosphere that keeps me coming back. Cortello offers free beverages, great scalp massages that are tailored to your comfort level, and has shampoo chairs that face a wall with scrolling serene beach scenes. You'll leave feeling pampered and pretty! more

I really like Cortello Salon. It's easy to set appointments online. They give you a relaxing shampoo and Kate always cuts my hair the way I ask, but with a trendy touch. Its in a convenient location in Jacksonville Beach. more

The best Salon at the Beach! 1/27/2012

Cortello is AMAZING! The first time I walked into Cortello I was greeted by the lovely professional ladies at the front desk. When I met my stylist she was very sweet, professional and honest. The complimentary head massages are an extra treat! I discussed with my stylist the difficulty i was having with dead ends and breakage. She suggested one of their new products. I have been using it for 3 months now and I can see huge results. You should give Coretello a try, it's an amazing place! more

MY FAVORITE SALON EVER! I only have VERY POSITIVE thinga to say about Cortello Salon and the entire staff! I moved to Jax Beach over the summer and was dreading having to find a new Stylist. I heard rave reviews from everyone that had been to Cortello so I went in. I've had My hair colored and cut by Jessica and Erica and loved them both and my hair looks great! On my last visit I added a conditioning treatment onto my services. It was the BEST TREATMENT I've ever had! I'm about to schedule another! I highly recommend Cortello Salon! All of my interactions have been extremely positive and I love the atmosphere! Most importantly, of course, I walk out looking and feeling great for a very competitive price! more

Cortello Rocks!! 1/17/2012

I must say that I am very picky when it comes to my hair. My first visit to Cortello was last month and I couldn't have been happier! Kate, my stylist, spent quality consultation time to get to know me and what I wanted in terms of my hair. She added some amazing high & low lights, then gave me a sleek new cut & style. I felt like a million bucks! 6 weeks later my hair still looks and feels great. I can't wait to go back!! Thanks Kate & Cortello! more

I am a young guy, and getting my hair cut at Cortello Salon is always a pleasant experience. The salon is stylishly decorated and the staff is very nice and helpful. Kate always works with my requests and gives me a haircut that I love. Booking online is easy and text message appointment confirmations are very convenient. Highly recommended! more

I am very pleased with Cortello Salon! I have walked out every time happy and very excited about the way my hair looks. I am the kind of person that is very picky about their hair. Finally found a great salon & stylist!!! 12/15/2011

I moved to Jax Beach 6 years ago & struggled to find a hairstylist. After several bad experiences I finally settled on a stylist in Ponte Vedra that was just okay. The salon hours were horrible & I had to work my work schedule around theirs all for an “okay” service. I recently discovered Coretello & I am so happy with my stylist & the service provided. They have great hours to accommodate working people & I love that they’re up to date on technology. I finally got a great cut & highlight and I am so relieved that I’ve finally found a place will be my longtime salon. more
