Cortello Hair Salon Jacksonville Beach

Today was my first visit to Cortello Hair Salon. I drove from Orange Park to Jacksonville Beach because I had heard wonderful things about this salon! I was early and greeted by a wonderful young woman who asked me if I wanted anything to drink - then, showed me around the salon explaining where certain areas were. Shampooing, coffee, sitting area in the middle, etc. She also helped me with my paraffin hand treatment. I was there for an eyebrow and lip waxing. Kayla was nice and took time with me to explain the procedure and my brows came out beautifully. I will definitely return to Cortello. Everyone I met there was great - front desk, etc. Glad I found Cortello! more

This place is awesome. The atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly. I felt very comfortable here. I loved the sitting area in the middle where you wait for your hair to process. It's much nicer than sitting in the same chair for 2 hours! I've been to salons all over town and I love this one. It's worth the drive to the beach if you live in town. I'm definitely going back. more

Being new to JacksonvilleBeach I decided to try this salon as I has seen a girl with pretty red hair and recommended the owner. She was booked up so they recommended a new girl Ryan to me who had come from Miami and didn't have many clients and was GREAT mixing color. She was very nice and wanted to put highlights in my hair as I wanted the roots lighter,and I declined. I asked her NOT to add any brown as my hair grabs color, and showed her pictures of stylists who had colored it brownish red before and she assured me she wouldn't. The first thing my son said was MOM your hairs dark, then the girl at Pubilix asked my I changed the color.I was so upset I called and she got on the phone and bantered with me instead of listening to me. She asked me to wash it a lot until I came in again knowing I have a Keraitn and they wash out,also knowing I wanted to come in for a wash and blowdry once a week as i cant straighten on my own. I called back and changed stylists,but then got a feeling of not wanting to go back in there again,especially as I was getting bombarded with generic emails, one being, if you leave us a gret review, you'll get a few haircut and blowdry along with recommend us to a friend and you'll get a free something else.That alone is bad marketing enough to scare me off and see why every single comment id 4 stars, I'm sure this one will be taken down.,I do not recommend this salon to any redhead unless you go the owner, and definitely not the new girl Ryan from Miami. more

I couldnt ask for better service and talent! The atmosphere is so warm and inviting plus Kate, my stylist, listens to exactly what I want! I always look forward to my experience at Cortello! more

I have been looking for a salon like Cortello for years! This time I really needed it, not just wanted it! I had cut my hair way too short months before and had all but given up hope that it would be somewhat ""fixable"" in the near future... I came to Cortello after a horrible consult at a salon in the same vicinity of Cortello, figuring it was my last shot so why not? AMAZING CHOICE! My stylist was Brooklyn and she gave me the best haircut/color of my life! She listened to what I wanted, was honest about what I probably needed, and helped me decide what the best plan of action was! She even showed me how to maintain my style at home, not just in the beginning but once it starts to grow out! My experience could not have been better and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch salon at the beaches! more

Wow! I have searched and searched forn a salon and stylist that would get it right... the first time! The minute I walked into Cortello's, I explained that I was picky and nervous about getting full highlights and a color. It was explained to me that every single stylist at Cortello's was hand picked by the owner, and each one had ample experience and talent. I took a risk and it was the BEST RISK I EVER TOOK! My stylist listened to exactly what I wanted, she even gave me tips on how to better my hair at home, and walked me through the process of styling it, so I could recreate her masterpiece! Cortello salon is by far the best salon in jax beach! Jessica did such a great job with my color and cut. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and the end result was wonderful! Highly recommend! more

Cortello Salon, you know... right behind Salt Life... two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean! This salon may be by the beach, but trust me you will feel as though you're in Manhattan and you'll be treated like a celebrity... I just got hair extensions with Erica. I L-O-V-E them! Brooklyn is wonderful! The salon is modern and gorgeous. Brooklyn is great with Color and the Keratin Express. It is great to find someone who really understands curly hair. I would recommend her to anyone! more

I have been going to Erica for over 6 years now. I have followed her to 3 salons and Cortello is BY FAR the best one yet.\r It is conveniently located off of 3rd St (A1A) and has great hours to fit into by work schedule.\r The salon is modern, hip, and gorgeous.\r Most comfortable shampoo chairs ever!\r Erica is the best stylist. She is really great with color and has always led me in the right direction. She is a color EXPERT. I would recommend her and this salon to anyone!\r more

Kayla is fabulous! Everytime I go I know I will walk out of the salon satisfied and my hair looking exactly how I wanted it to. Kayla takes her time and I never feel rushed. I recently got a Keratin treatment and LOVE how my hair looks and feels (not having to use a flat iron is great!). I also get my eyebrows waxed and am very picky about how they look, but I completely trust Kayla. She always does an amazing job!\r \r Cortello Salon is a very professional and polished upscale salon, but doesn't give off that ""stuffy"" vibe. I am always greeted and feel welcome when I check in. more

I received a fabulous shampoo (more like a spa treatment!) and color/cut/keratin treatment with Brooklyn. She was sweet and spot on with her skills and advice. The salon feels trendy but really warm and staff are very nice. Cortello is my new salon. more
