Incompetent crew 8/27/2018

This company is a contractor with my home warranty company. This company came out to my home 7 times in 30 days. Each time the unit was "fixed", within 24 hours or even the same day, the unit would stop working. I was told my compressor had to be replaced. Within 2 hours of it being installed, the unit stopped working. I had to fork out $803 for freon and it stops working THE SAME DAY! Bottom line, I seriously doubt it was the compressor, and I'm out of a lot of money. more

When the capacitor from my air conditioning unit went out, I called up Comfort First Heating & Cooling. They came out and replaced the damaged part, and they did a very good job. So much so, that I signed up for their bi-annual service contract plan. They came back out not long afterward to service my system and made sure it was still running smoothly. They were very professional, on time, and were good at cleaning up after themselves. Even if I didn't have the service contract, I would definitely use them again. more

Great Experience 6/28/2018

I reached out to Comfort First Heating & Cooling because I was having an issue with my system. The first guy that came out to evaluate my system was knowledgeable, and a pretty good guy. But, the tech that came out to actually fix my air conditioning unit, was excellent. He went above and beyond a lot of the things I had expected. Once he finished with the unit, he went outside and cleaned the outside part, where the fan is located. He spent a lot of his time making sure my system was up and running smoothly. Unlike previous a/c companies who seem to only want to sell you products, these guys came with the idea to maintain the system I already have, and make sure it's working right. It was a great first experience, and I would call them again. They were honest, and that's what I'm looking for. more

No Problems 6/13/2018

I have had no problems with Comfort First Heating & Cooling. I had them come out about a month ago the check our heating and air conditioning units. It was part of our service contract with them. They replaced some parts in the air conditioner, and cleaned our heater. Everything was great. They called us ahead of time to let us know they were on their way, and the worker was on time and professional. I may not continue with my service contract, but I would still use them in the future. more

The best price is not everything. 6/4/2018

For a large company the service and consideration of our needs was exceptional and those installing the new system were great. The salesman even offered a widow AC, until our new system was installed. My smaller company did get back with an offer to install an Amana 15 seer for $5500. and that was without the $980. you got from Home Shield. Making their price around $1200. cheaper. However, the price was not the only consideration...Being the service company used by Home Shield was my major consideration in getting the system from you. And you responded back immediately. more

Best HVAC company out there! 5/31/2018

We have dealt with the worst and now the best. After losing our AC during a bad heat spell, we called Comfort First . They were extremely busy but sent the owner to see what our options were. He came that afternoon, was polite and very professional. He gave us several estimates, arranged for financing and left us with a window unit for our bedroom. We had installation within a few days and cannot say enough nice things about this company. They are organised and provide excellent service. Call them first! more
