Poor business in dealing with customers when you give no written agreement or verbal communication that you are allowed to add on to a deposit after it has been paid. I was asked for an additional $200, 4 months after giving a $325 deposit to turn on my energy service. I was told if it was not paid, my meter would be locked until it was. Don't appreciate the shakedown for money. I come from the NYC area where we use Con Edison, and they only bill you for what you use, not what you are projected to use. At least Con Edison gets it right,,and works hard for their customers in emergency situations, and will work with you with payment plans, not threaten you. A woman named Dawn who is employed there is the absolute worst person to deal with there, nasty, rude and needs some anger management.
