friendly, no pressure quote, competent installation, superior customer service 9/23/2014

Mr. Miller was thorough in his assessment of my current h/ac system. he explained the need for replacing the heating/blower/coil portion. he provided me with three price options and informed me of financing options. There was no pressure at all regarding which configuration was the best for my home. Installation was completed in a timely manner and the installers were extremely patient with my questions. Pads were put in place to protect my flooring and they swept up what little insullation fell from the attic. They installed a new programmable thermostat and explained how to set different times and temps to save me on my utility bills (wonderful!). my new system is a thing of beauty and i love coming home to a cool house and NO leaks from a rusty, dirty cooling coil! more

We have not only the heating/air conditioning service, but also the plumbing and have been very pleased in the last four years, with Choates. There is no sales pressure and have found each repairman to be very honest and friendly, which is such a rarity these days. more

Showering and shaving in cold water is not pleasant, but Choate's fixed the problem quickly! 9/17/2014

Our hot water heater began failing on Saturday as we were taking our late showers. On Sunday, cold showers and a cold shave...not since Army days! On Monday I Googled "plumbers in Cordova", and a list of BBB members came up. Since I'm a BBB member, I value their membership and rating and therefore selected Choate's, a long-time family operation. They came our to inspect late Monday, returned Tuesday afternoon to install the new heater, and I took a hot shower Tuesday and Wednesday (today) along with shaves with hot water. Great! The technicians were excellent and friendly; and we are well satisfied and will use them for any future plumbing needs. more

Wonderful 9/10/2014

I came home one evening to find that my A/C system had given out and my house had heated up to eighty-five degrees. Even though it was six in the afternoon, I tried calling Choate's to see if they could send a technician over to fix the A/C for me. I really didn't expect them to respond so quickly and so late in the evening, but by nine that night a technician had arrived to service the system. The technician was wonderful and he had the A/C system cooling the house back down in under thirty minutes. Overall, the service was excellent and I have nothing but good things to say about Choate's. more

Fast and Excellent Service 9/9/2014

After a long week, got home at 2PM and quickly determined my main AC unit was not working. Checked the thermostats and they were working, although the compressor was not running. Called Choate around 2:45 and they put me on the list after 3PM. I got a call less than 1 hour later telling me the tech was going to be at my home in 10 minutes. After a search of the filters and thermostats, the compressor had shorted out from what was probably a loose connection. I was extremely worried the unit was going to need replacement. The tech was able to check and all that was wrong was some shinged wiring, which he replaced. The unit is now running and keeping the house cool. Total time from my call to Choate and running the AC again on a Friday afternoon - less than 2 hours. I am very grateful I called Choate more

Excellent Customer Service 9/9/2014

I can’t say enough good things about the manner in which Choate’s handled my air duct cleaning. From the initial phone call to the inspection/estimate appointment to the service crew, they were on time, professional, courteous, informative, respectful of my home, and thorough. They were even patient with my three annoying dogs. When they left, it was as if they’d never been there….no mess for me to clean up. Choate’s has customer service down to an art form....and it this day and age, that's hard to find. It was my first experience with this firm but definitely not my last. In addition, I would highly recommend air duct cleaning to anyone considering it. It has definitely cut down on dust particles so that's a sure sign it was effective. more

Ease of scheduling appointments; on time; courtest of technician 9/9/2014

Several years ago, we were dissatisfied with our current service for our air condition, heating and ventilation systems. However it was that we heard about Choate's, we liked that they were a family-owned business. Over the years we met different members of the Choate family and they knew their products. Charlie has been our service technician several time. He has always been on time; he is extremely courteous; and he knows what he is doing. more

I was able to get a same day appointment. The technician called me when he was on the way. He was very polite and very thorough and took his time to help me understand how my two units and zoned system worked (new house to me). I felt like the price was reasonable and fair. more

Excellent service, Very professional, very knowledgable 9/2/2014

I was having a full AC check and to look at a problem. I was unable to be at home so my wife and son were there. The serviceman was very professional and made my wife feel very comfortable. He called me to discuss what he had found and was more than willing to help us out. Choate's is a MUST and a WILL use again. more
