IT'S GOOD TO BE COOL AGAIN!! 7/9/2014

One of our air conditioner units went out one evening. I went on-line to look for someone to call and found Choate's. Their website made it so easy to set up an appointment, I decided to give them a try. I asked for a 10:00 service call the next morning. At about 8:00 the next morning Choate's called to say someone would be at my house between 10:00 and 2:00. Later the technician called to say he was about 30 minutes out. He was there 30 minutes later, a little after 10:00. That's what I call service! He was very friendly, and he found the problem in less than 5 minutes and had it fixed 10 minutes later!! I will definitely be using them in the future!! THANKS CHOATE'S!!! iT'S GOOD TO BE COOL AGAIN!!!!!! more

All around good experience. 7/8/2014

We feel confident that our Air Condition and Heating needs will be in good hands when we call Choates. Some of the things we love about them are: Service personnel representatives are always very polite and are respectful of our property. They are well trained. They are always on time and they call ahead to let you know that they are on their way to your home. And most of all we know them to be a company you can trust. We have used them several times and are always satisfied. We recommend them to every body we know when they have a need for Air Condition or Heating installation or service. more

My whole experience with Choate's was great. Very friendly office staff, I was called and notified when the repair man was on the way. The repair was done correctly and the room was cleaned up when he was finished. Very satisfied with my experience. more

First thing to do when getting in an old house:get the air ducts cleaned! 7/3/2014

Two years ago, I moved in a really nice 30+yrs house. Loved the house but started coughing quite a bit. Eventually, I realized that may be it was because the airducts were dirty. Choate came and got them cleaned: I couldn't believe the amount of dust and God knows what that was hiding in these ducts. The Choates tech did a superb job: they were highly professional, well trained and friendly. Their equipment was state of the art. The charges were very reasonable for the amount of work performing. No more coughing now! So...if you move to an older house, rather than spending $ to change the countertop first, spend that money of getting the AC ducts cleaned! more

My service guy, Burt, was polite, professional, and experienced. He explained everything he was going to do and why. Burt had a sheet with all their prices printed out, so there was no guess work. No pressure sales or miscellaneous add-ons. He fixed it right the first time and I even learned a thing or two in the process. I highly recommend this company. more

Went above and beyond 6/27/2014

Choate's Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing is fantastic. They gave me a great quote for replacing the ducts on my heater. Andy answered all of my questions and flexible with scheduling. He was extremely knowledgeable and even gave me tips on things that he saw which needed attention. Overall, the job was done very efficiently, neatly, and on time. I'm pleased with the quality of the work and would recommend them. more

Exceeded my expectations 6/26/2014

Choate's Air Conditioning, Heating, and Plumbing came and fixed the pilot light of my water and gas heater. I called them on a Saturday and someone came right away, which I appreciated. They were quick to respond, even though I'm a new customer. They did not try to exaggerate the problem in any way, and they simply treated it quickly and easily. They even provided me with a discount, despite being a first-time customer. The worker who came had a great attitude, and the cost was reasonable. I was surprised at how easy and professional they were to work with. They exceeded my expectations. more

Huge markup on freon 6/18/2014

I recently had a leak that caused all of my freon to leak out. Choate's service was responsive and they did a great job with the repair. However, the price they charge for freon is ridiculous. I found where they had at least a 400% markup in the cost of freon. Amazing service! 6/17/2014

This was my first time using Choate's Air Conditioning, Heating, & Plumbing. When I called to set up the appointment they were very professional and informative. Jeremy was the service technician that came out. He had a great attitude and knew exactly what he was doing. I even bought a premium policy because of his knowledge. He changed some filters on my system to get it to blow cold air again. I was very impressed with how quickly everything was resolved. more
