Choate's AC and Heating is amazing! Choate's installed a new HVAC unit in my home. The employees are extremely nice and helpful in the office as well as, the installers. The installation process was perfect from start to finish. The installers respected my home and kept it very clean during installation. Sol Choate even came to my home to check on everything. I could not ask for better service or quailty. I definitely recommend Choate's!!! Thank you Choate's employees! You are all wonderful!! more

This was our first time working with Choate's. I found their service technician to be courteous, professional, and willing to take the time to explain exactly what he was doing. The price of the service was also quite reasonable. I would recommend this company based upon my experience. more

The Right Choice 10/12/2014

When interviewing HVAC companies to find one to install my new unit, Choates was a clear winner. The representative was professional, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions honestly. Being a single woman, I had already familiarize myself with my unit and what I needed, therefore I could tell immediately that Choates was not giving me the runaround. I'm very happy with the customer service following installation and the most recent maintenance checkup. more

$59 Furnace Inspection 10/11/2014

I got my furnaces inspected yesterday and cleaned. Everything was fine per the inspection except the serviceman said the run capacitors (2) need to be replaced. The cost for these 2 capacitors was going to be $294 after a 20% discount. I almost fell for it because he said it would strain our blower motor and to replace that would cost $700 approximately. He was correct that capacitors need to be changed out every 5 years or more because they can strain your motor as they age and put undue wear on them. What I am upset about is the charge for these two capacitors. My wife did a quick check online and found the same two capacitors for $20. I think what they are doing is a highly questionable business practice. You get the customer to bite on the $59 special, you find a common service need (capacitors) and charge them an outrageous price to replace them. The primary fault does not lay with the serviceman. He seemed knowledgeable, pleasant and professional to deal with. He was doing what he was instructed to do and does not set the pricing. more

Every experience I have had with Choate's, whether in person or on the phone, has been a positive one. The technicians who have come to my home have been wonderful about explaining everything and answering questions. The office staff is friendly and helpful, even after hours. They really do go the extra mile to make the customer's experience a pleasant one. I especially appreciate the fact that they call when they are on the way, and there is also a follow-up call after the work is done to be sure the customer is satisfied. Great customer service! more

I would recommend Choate's Air Conditioning, Heating, & Plumbing to anyone! We have a contract with them, so they come to our household every year to check the heating, plumbing and air conditioning units. The service technicians are very professional and they always point out things that need work. They have excellent verbal communication skills. more

Excellant Service 10/3/2014

I had a complete central air and heat installation in my home. I have lived here since 1984 and had window units and floor furnaces, one of which was not operational. I was nervous about having this done but I have to say that Choates was amazing from the sales person to the installers. The installers were considerate, neat, and courteous. They did an amazing job and definitely went above and beyond the call of duty. They listened and answered any questions I had. They could not have been more professional. I am so excited and pleased with the work. They made feel that I was important and they wanted to do a good job. The service overall was excellent from the salesman to the project manager to the electrician, the plumber, and the installers. I would definitely recommend Choates to my friends. more

I LOVE this company!! Can't say enough wonderful things about them! How many companies do you know that come on a service call the day you call? Choat does!! Or let me say the three times I've called so far Choat has come out the SAME DAY!! Woohoo!! That's unheard of! I'm in love with this company! Everyone is so nice. I have a service contract with both air units, and ALWAYS will. Bought one unit from Choats. Great price and GREAT FINANCING. Love doing business with this company!!! more
