Best Customer Service in ages 7/6/2011

Looking for quotes on replacing a rusting water heater, took the time discuss in depth most options, explained each, talked about pros and cons of the style I wanted to go with, did not discourage me from going my way, just gave the info, I appreciate that!! Pre Call by the company was great, the post call was quick, he hadnt even left the driveway before they called. Loved it. more

Applewood Heating/Cooling is REFRESHING 7/3/2011

This was a pleasant experience from the moment I called for AC service. Since I work nights, it's great to have the later services hours. Prior to the technician arriving, the dispatch center called twice to update the status of my service call. The technician, Greg, was professional, conversational, and got the job done. The fan motor came with a 2yr warranty, much better than other service companies. I have already gotten an estimate for future service. Applewood is first rate! more

Excellent Customer Service 7/2/2011

Applewood recently inspected and cleaned my furnace. The Technician, Charles, was running ahead of schedule, and the Applewood home-base called to ask if he could arrive sooner than planned. When Charles arrived, he was professional, personable, and answered all of my questions. He provided an estimate for a new water heater before he left, and Applewood's home-base followed up with me also before Charles had driven away. I am confident I will use their services in the future. more

Quick service 7/2/2011

I had no hot water and it was a saturday. I called Applewood plumbing and they were there within 2 to 3 hours. My old hot water heater had to be replaced. The tech was very pleasant and installed a new one and was finished in about 21/2 hours. I was very pleased. more

Fast service 6/30/2011

I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly the service technician arrived. I received a confirmation call ahead of time and a follow up call after the service call. The technician was pleasant and prompt. I didn't feel that I could afford the drain cleaning that I was planning, so the tech offered a more affordable option that seems to have solved my problem. Great Service 6/27/2011

I had Applewood Plumbing come out to do what I thought was going to be a fairly easy and fast job. But due to a defect in the hot water dispenser I had purchased it turned into a long, long process. John, the Master Plumber, that worked on the job was outstanding. He was patient, great at explaining the problem and he did an outstanding job. I would recommend Applewood Plumbing to anyone who wants the job done right. more

Expensive waste of time. 6/23/2011

These guys quoted $750 dollars to snake a drain. It cost me $75 dollars to do it myself with the same tool rented. knowledgeable is the farthest thing from what these guys are. This guy was also an idiot because he acted like it would take him forever, but i am not a plumber and it only took me an hour or two to do the whole job including picking up the rented drain snake. Use anyone else. more

Great service 6/21/2011

This week I had problems while having a shower stall resurfaced. A leak prevented the new product from drying and I called Applewood. They sent out a plumber promptly and he diagnosed the leak and fixed it. I hadn't even realized that there was a leak. I would definitely call Applewood again and thank Eric very much. more

I recently called Applewood to have my air conditioner inspected. The technician, Nathan, completed the work in a professional and workmanlike manner. I would highly recommend Applewood (in particular Nathan) for all of your HVAC needs. We called Applewood Plumbing after a pipe burst and flooded our basement. Applewood was available to send a licensed master plumber on a Saturday with no extra after hours charge. Zach was punctual, courteous and very knowledgeable and professional! We are very satisfied and pleased with Applewood Plumbing and we would not hesitate to call them again for all of our plumbing needs! more

Good Service, Questionable Reviews? 6/11/2011

While I was impressed by the professionalism of Applewood's staff and technicians, I was surprised by the high price coupled with the great reviews. It seemed that the reviews have increasingly become more and more positive--and after receiving their service I became aware of the reason behind these overtly glowing reviews: they personally offeryou a $25.00 gift card if you write a review highlighting your positive experience. \r \r In my opinion, any company that would bribe their customers to write positive reviews is one that should be approached with caution. \r \r Applewood does great work, but at a premium price. This fact was well documented in older customer reviews--up until the time that Applewood began to offer gift cards in return for positive reviews. On a side note I find it fascinating that so manyof the recent reviews highlight ""fair pricing.""\r \r So, again, if you want quality service and price is not an issue, choose Applewood. I am very satisfied with their work. I just can't give them more than a couple of stars because of this deceitful practice. more

Fast, friendly and efficient 6/8/2011

We heard the hot water heater making a noise and not wanting to have a disaster on our hands, we called Applewood Plumbing/Heating/Electric. From the very beginning, everyone we came in contact with was very helpful and knowledgable. Lindsey was very kind on the phone and helped schedule a tech to come out when it was convenient for us. The tech who came out was very helpful and explained everything to my husband. He replaced out hot water tank and in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend Applewood Plumbing/Heating/Electric to every one. more

Great Job Applewood P & H 6/6/2011

I have used Applewood P&H in the past for a new furnace, hot water heater and called them again last Thursday, June 2, 2011 to check out my AC since I have the maintenance program. William the AC Tech showed up and did an outstanding job checking out our 17 year old AC. William explained to me the issues he had found. We discussed the options and I decided to buy a new AC that is more energy efficient and cost effective. William quoted me a very reasonable price and within 4 hours we had a new AC installed. Again Applewood P&H did a professional job in a timely manner. William the AC Tech demonstrated high standards of professional behavior and expertise. The service techs I have dealt with at Applewood P&H have all displayed strong work values. GREAT JOB Again. more
