Had Applewood Plumbing install a water line to the kitchen fridge and a natural gas line to the outdoor BBQ. This is easier said than done considering the basement is finished and the utility room is in the center of the house. They found a solution for installing both without disturbing any existing walls or ceilings. They did an excellent job, nice finish work and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend to anyone - very professional and punctual service. more

The technician was very professional went to extra effort to save us money on our repair before jumping to the most expensive option first. I had a great plumbing service experience in the morning and decided to schedule some electrical work. I was surprised to be able to schedule it that same day. They explain the options and the costs completely. They then work efficiently and clean up thoroughly after. We now plan to have all our home repair issues handled by Applewood. I trust Applewood's Plumbers. I've called them out several times and they always fix the problem. The prices are high, but the peace of mind is worth it. Plus three times they've come out and found a simple fix rather than saying major work needed to be done when it didn't. If you know how to do basic plumbing then you don't need to pay these guys, but if you're a complete novice at least you don't have to worry about shoddy work or make believe problems with these guys. Again, pricy but trustworthy. more

Have established a good relationship with Applewood. We have tile/root problems and need a rooting once or twice a year. Have been through the game of camera, line replacement, etc. with several companies. Applewood is the only company that knows just what is needed and the same tech. does the same job each time and does not push the issue and the price is always fair and the same. He spent two hours evaluating my needs and then explaining everything in detail. The technician answered all of my questions, was professional, polite, and helpful. Service was excellent, technician was professional, however I felt a charge of over $400.00 to clear a blocked line and tighten pipe connections was excesive. This amounted to $200 per hour. A little steep for this service. more

SHOP AROUND! Their prices were outrageous. I had a new gas water heater installed for $2000! They talked about a 10year ""Applewood Warranty"" but failed to mention the fact that the water heater already has a factory 6 year warranty. Plus, you do not have a choice of NOT having the ""Applewood Warranty"". I could purchase a 2nd hot water heater for the price of the warranty. When asked why their prices are so high, they said it was because of their superior technicians. If their technicians are so good, why would I need a 10 year Applewood warranty? more

Recently, we had experienced an electrical issue in our garage. After spending a considerable amount of time troubleshooting and trying to resolve it myself, I finally decided to call an electrician. I didn't know who to call, as there are so many choices, but I knew there were some that I refused to call (based on their reputation and BBB rating). Finally, I chose Applewood Plumbing, Heating and Electrical (HPE) as I had heard good things about them in the past and they had an A+ rating with the BBB. I made a great choice! Walt was the electrician they sent out to help me. He not only called to let us know he was on his way, but he was able to come out an hour early. Literally,within minutes, he was able to diagnose, fix and explain my problem (what a relief!) The professionalism with which I was met was very refreshing from start to finish. I was expecting a huge bill and a bunch of ""electro-babble."" I got just the opposite. Walt didn't charge me and I got a clear understanding of why I was having the problem. They were even running a special where they waived the trip charge! Really, the experience was like calling a good neighbor to come over and help me out. An honorable, competent electrician/HPE company is hard to come by, but I found both in Applewood. I will definitely use them in the future (as we are moving into a new house) and, obviously, recommend them wholeheartedly! Thanks again more

I was so happy that I had a live person to talk to and was able to get a service call the same day. The technician was very helpful and gave me lots of tips for on-going maintenance. we called applewood to assist in a minor kitchen renovation. we needed someone to remove the sink, disposal and stove so we could install new countertops and then come back and reinstall. At this point we just needed an estimate. A master plumber came by. Prior to arrival the office called and then emailed a photo of the plumber for security. Upon arrival the plumber explained the work, answered all my questions and provided the estimate. No charge, very professional and no pressure. Within 20 minutes the office called to ensure everything went well. No pressure to move forward and schedule. I appreciated that. We will use Applewood on the project. I was impressed. more
