Consistent, Professional Service 11/18/2011

I called for a repair on my Furnace at 8 am and the technician was at my home by 1 pm. He was quick and professional. I think the most apparent thing about this company is their consistency. I think that regardless of who comes and does your work, you can count on honest, competent, professional technicians. I will use Applewood again. more

Expensive lesson 11/16/2011

We had a room that appeared to have a short in the wire, I called and asked to have a person run a diagnostic test run on the electricity in my home, a very nice gentleman came out and checked one switch, 3 outlets, and checked the breaker box. He found a short in one outlet, and the fee was almost $600.00 which we felt was a very high amount for just one outlet to be replaced, which was about 1 hour of time in my house. He did not check any other places in the house. He stated the reason they do not have a fee for house calls, is because they have a set amount they charge for the work they do. We feel this is a big rip off, $600.00 for less than 1 hour of work. more

On top of it! 11/14/2011

My experience with Applewood was very good. When I initially called they set up an apointment window. Then they called me to tell me they were 30 minutes out. The technician came right on time and I directed him to the furnace. He was able to diagnose the problem and clean it pretty fast. He was also nice enough to install my free carbon monoxide detector they gave me. They charged me what they quoted and the service was great. My only gripe, was that it seemed like the technician was pretty sick and probably should not have been working. Other than that, the service was good and the technician was very nice! more

Applewood Plumbing 11/11/2011

I called early 6:10 they set up an appointment, the office called just before the tech was to arrive and he arrived as scheduled. The job was very simple ( video the sewer line for cracks). Jaime also matched the the price from another service, he was finished in a few minutes (very courtious) cleanded up and thanked me for calling. Sam more

Applewod Plumbing & Heating Rocks! 11/10/2011

Applewood Plumbing & Heating installed a new furnace for me yesterday. The service was impeccable: from emailing me pictures of the technicians due to arrive, taking great care to leave things cleaner than when they arrive, and giving me a full, complete, understandable run-down on how everything works. Just very professional, top-notch service! I chose Applewood P & H because last winter, on the coldest night of the year, my daughter's furnace went out. She tried to reach the people who had installed it and a couple other firms and no one even answered theiphone. Applewood was there within an hour of talking to her, getting the heat back on quickly. more

BUYER BEWARE! COMPLETELY OVER-PRICED!! 11/1/2011

Not sure if Applewood's techs work on commission or what -- but the Applewood tech we had in here a couple of days ago told us that we needed to have all our kitchen drains and also the clay pipe sewer line outside the house completely replaced -- which was going to cost approximately $28,000. We got another company in (Plumbline) and, after running their diagnostics/camera through our lines, they told us that, other than one 'break' in the sewer, the rest of our drains and the sewer itself were fine, and we only needed to fix the break itself and clean the rest of the lines -- and quoted us a price less than $4,000. THEY ALSO SAID if they did the work Applewood said was needed, it would have cost less than $15,000 total. more

Positive experience 10/31/2011

Applewood Plumbing, Heating Cooling and Electric were very professional in servicing a recent problem. As they had many calls to service that night, they called twice to keep me posted to their arrival time and thanked me for my patience. I was impressed by their service and customer care as I received a follow up call after their service. Sam, the technician, was very knowledgable and listened to my concerns as he addressed the problem and fixed it quickly. I would highly recommend them. more

Best Experience Ever! 10/26/2011

I called Applewood to replace a faucet. I called on a Friday and was able to schedule the appointment for Monday. The person I spoke to offered several times including the weekend for no additional cost! \r \r On Sunday, the day before my appointment, I received a call from a live person confirming my appointment time. \r \r On the day of my appointment I received a call from a live person to let me know the plumber was running a little late which I appreciated. I also received an email with information about the plumber coming and what he looked like.\r \r Craig, my plumber for my appointment called me in route and when he arrived at our house. He worked fast and was able to switch out the faucet very quickly. He also quoted me on the price of the work before he got started. Craig was able to accept my credit card payment right there after he was done.\r \r I got home and was telling my husband what a great experience I had with Applewood and my phone rang and it was a call from a live person asking how the appointment went. \r \r The attention to detail and follow up made the process really convenient. I highly recommend their services!\r \r First class all the way! more

Applewood Plumbing Heating Cooling and Electric is a very professional company They kept us informed of the technician's arrival time and sent us his picture and resume before his arrival. They also offer a great Gold Service Club Membership.\r \r Charles , the technician, was very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. The first thing he did was put ""booties"" on, which showed respect for our home. He listened to our problem, asked good questions for further clarification and worked carefully and efficiently to fix our boiler valves. \r \r This was our first experience with Applewood, and we'll definitely call them again for any plumbing , heating or electrical need. A very impressive group of people. \r \r more

Applewood is my GO TO! 10/18/2011

Outstanding Customer Service, attention to detail and honest, respectful service. I scheduled a regular maintenance call as part of my Gold Customer benefits and learned that I had to have an entire motor replace. Before doing anything my service technician, Chris, sat us down to tell us what was wrong, explain the options and then proceeded to wait at my house for two hours until the right part needed was delivered and then installed. He was friendly and confident in me knowing that with this replacement I would saving money in the long run monthly not to mention needing an emergency service call in the dead of winter! I recommend Applewood to all my friends and neighbors and will continue to have them as my go to for any plumbing/heating and AC needs. I just need them to start doing sprinkler service!!! more

Impeccable Service 10/17/2011

Applewood was incredibly accommodating and offered several options for service that would work with my schedule. The service tech, Zach, arrived within the allotted time frame and proceeded to explain using layman terms and with just the right amount of detail, the various options to fix my clogged drains. He helped me understand the associated costs and delivered a solution that was completely within my comfort range. He was extremely trustworthy, honest, and left no trace of his visit. I would call this plumbing company without fail for any future needs. more

Professional friendly and efficient! 10/11/2011

We called Applewood this morning to look at our boiler and they sent a tech out right away. \r Jason, the Technician, was prompt and friendly. He diagnosed the issue immediately, went right to work and fixed our boiler. He was great! Not only did he identify the issue quickly, he explained how the boiler worked and what the misfunctioning part did in relation to the water heater and the rest of the unit. I really appreciate that not only was he quick and accurate with his diagnosis, he took the time to explain and educate me on the operation of the system. \r We have called Applewood for plumbing, electrical and AC issues in the past and their techs are always prompt , knowledgable, conciencious and friendly. \r They are highly recommended and Jason is top notch! more
