This lovely little gem in Bellevue is not for those who expect their service to be based on a slickly packaged, never personal and always orchestrated ?drinks first, salad, entree, and out you go?. It?s more a family approach, with warmth and a personality and always wonderful food. Go with patience and an appetite and you won?t be disappointed.\r

My absolutely favorite thing that I often make my meal of is the Salmon Pugalise Toasts, an amazing bruchetta with herbed mascarpone cheese, capers and the most velvety smoked salmon anywhere. It is comfort and joy and melts in your mouth. The antipasti is consistently a winner: terrific grilled veggies and interesting marinated goodies to eat with the wonderfully rustic artisan bread that is served with high quality olive oil and a perfect balsamic. \r
I?ve tasted most everything on the menu and have enjoyed them all. Standouts are the off the menu lamb; better than Daniels. Served alongside gorgonzola gnocchi and tender crisp Italian veggies, the double chops are generous and crispy out while juicy in. YUM. Don?t miss the eggplant parm, any of the veal dishes and the beautifully toothy pastas with outstanding sauces. \r
They have a limited bar, an ambitious wine list, and a really nice dessert offering. I?m often too full for a sweet, but the consistently welcoming and hospitable treatment I get is all I really need. Tell Nancy hello, and take the time to trully savor a terrific meal. \r
Should you want the usual package, go to the Cheesecake Factory.
Pros: Smoked Salmon Toasts, wonderful Pastas and veal dishes
Cons: A bit breezy when the back door is open
