I really like Andiamo. I go there with my wife once or twice a month and we always have a good time. The food is very tasty (my favorite are the specials when they have fish or...

Worst

The food for this place was alright, nothing to go wow over. It was overpriced so i don't understand why citysearch rated this place with $ when it should be $$$. Average price...

Terrible service at ridiculous prices 12/8/2003

We went to this restaurant because we live in Bellevue downtown and like to support local small businesses. The wine list was extensive and expensive and the wine they had available was 2 years older than what was listed on the menu!! The pear and gorgonzola ravioli was rich but pretty good and the saving grace of the evening. The wine was too young and was almost unpalatable. The waiter was rude and obnoxious and seemed to think that his european accent was enough to substitute for good service. Would not recommend the place to anyone Pros: Extensive wine list Cons: Expensive, Bad Service more

Overpriced Italian 9/10/2003

By far the worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to. For the price you pay you'd expect the food to have more flair as well as taste. The service was horrible as well because we had to wait well over 30 minutes for a waiter to come and take our order. I would highly recommend anyone to go somewhere else for good Italian. Cons: Overpriced, Terrible food, Poor Service more

Great food! 2/28/2003

This is the best Eastside Italian restaurant I've been to and is one of my favorites. I've returned MANY times. Recently, it appears that they have fine-tuned their meals and menu for the better. The chicken piccata and the pear and gorganzola ravioli are great. My only complaint is that it is a bit overpriced. more

Andiamo: ""Let's NOT go!"" 2/28/2003

I used to eat at Andiamo at least twice a month in 2001, but the changes I found last night were heartbreaking. The succulent olive oil-drizzled bruschetta of the past has been replaced by two charred slabs of bread with a mound of slimey oversalted tomatoes. Spinach ricotta Ravioli was also oversalted, and because the server brought it to the table before I had finished my appetizer, it was lukewarm to boot. Though there were only three filled tables at 7:30, we had to stare down our server to get her to come take our order. And refill our wine glasses. And provide the check. By 8:20, the place was empty, the cooks went home, and our server shut off the overhead music, making it clear we were not welcome. I can't believe I paid money for such an awful experience. Pros: Candles, Garage parking Cons: Salty food, Ambivalent staff, Unclear menu more

Zero Class in Owner, Waitstaff & Service 11/15/2002

Andiamos ambiance is a unique mixture of very poor service and unbelieveably rude wait staff. We will NEVER eat here again and do NOT recommend it to others. After an incredibly disappointing evening of horrible service and a rude insult from the restaurant owner, we left the tip we felt they deserved - which was zero. The waiter then confronted us in the parking garage to insult us further. We dine out appx. 3-5 times weekly and always leave a 20% tip - so this was an exception based on the owner's attitude, the waiter's negligence and the experience as a whole. Don't waste your time with this place - go to Sages or Tropea in Redmond - they are high class and you will get the service and experience you deserve. Pros: Decent Food Cons: Rude Staff/Owner, Slow Service more

Neat restaurant!! 8/27/2002

I read the reviews after having already made reservations at Andiamo - a friend had recommended it to me. Most of the reviews posted here were terrible & not helpful. The restaurant is very quaint, soothing, and clean - not loud and gaudy. The service was gentle, prompt, and understanding of when their patrons need privacy. The food was delicious, however, on the richer side. We also met the owner, who was very cordial. I would recommend this restaurant to those who can afford it (entree + dessert = $25). If it's out of your price range, you may leave here with a bitter taste. Pros: Service, food, private ambience Cons: Price more

Thanks for nothing! 8/22/2002

The service at this restaurant is sad. I have went there 3 times each time thinking that maybe I just got a poor server but always we were ignored at the door for too long, wine took an hour, food much more and the staff was uninformed and uninterested!! I think that whoever is giving this place a 10 must be related to the owners. Skip it!! P.S. Food was too rich, unimpressive and took too long. Pros: ambience Cons: food, service, attitude more

Ok ambience: terrible food 8/12/2002

We went on a Monday evening Ambience: A bit too open and cold - but giving the location and the age of the building I think the owner has done a good job. Service: OK -- not real chat from the server; but sometimes I think that is a plus. Value: Way over priced Food: Terrible - I am sorry but the rich food they serve is *not* typically Italien. There is way too much cream and oil. Pros: Parking, Wine list Cons: Food, Price, Ambience more

Closing time? 7/3/2002

We showed up to eat here, but there was no close time on the door, it just said open until closing time. We walked in, there were people eatting, finally someone noticed us and said they were closed. They need a better sign indicating they're closed. Cons: stupid more
