Worst

The food for this place was alright, nothing to go wow over. It was overpriced so i don't understand why citysearch rated this place with $ when it should be $$$. Average price...

HORRIBLE doesn't even begin to describe it... 1/3/2006

Five for New Year's Eve. The waitress didn't take our drink order for over 30 minutes! The appetizer and salads were mediocre at best and the main courses were well below average considering dinner was $45 per person. My friend ordered salmon and got veal, 10 minutes later she got a piece of raw salmon handed to her (from across the table mind you. Apparently it was too much effort to actually place the plate in front of the person who ordered it.) The manager eventually came over to our table and insisted (very loudly) that we were wrong and that the dinner(s) were fine. We actually had to insist that she stop yelling and go get our check. The salmon was taken off the bill but made no attempt was made to right the many wrongs that occured in our short visit to Andiamo. We all left absolutely disgusted. Cons: expensive, rude waitstaff/mgmt, terrible food more

I went here with some coworkers for lunch (there were about 8 of us) and it is probably one of the worst Italian restaurants I've been to. When we were ordering, a bunch of us wanted the special of the day only to be told that only two people could get it (he wouldn't say why only 2) so we quickly had to revise our decisions. When we got our food, the portions were so small that we were still hungry after eating. We couldn't get the waiters attention for the life of us and my friend had to go up to the till and look to see which check was ours so that we could pay. There are plenty of other wonderful Italian restaurants in the area, just avoid this one. Pros: ambiance Cons: service, menu, food more

With a Little Service Might BE OK 10/7/2005

My wife & I went to this resturant to try something new, what a mistake. The service in this establishment is a Joke!!. Upon arriving we were seated only to be told after being seated that a party of 4 just arrived and we need to be reseated immediatly to accommedate them. After being reseated we waited for an eternity to be seen by a waitress who spoke broken English at best. One Dinner was quite well prepared while the other was not to our liking, But NO ONE!! had the curtosy to check, the resturant was not busy. Upon finishing we waited 35 min. to recieve a bill with out being seen for coffee or desert, WE JUST CHECKED OUT. Never To Return. Cons: Service, Service, Service more

We've been going to Andiamo since it originally opened, and noticed a steady decline in service, but thought we'd give it one more try to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday. What a mistake. The staff was less than motivated. Only five of the six of us received our dinner orders - they forgot to make one. The ingredients didn't match what was listed on the menu, but when we pointed it out, the waitress was indignant. We had to clear our own salad plates by putting them on the vacant tables around us. When the bill arrived, it was wrong. We had to go into the kitchen to find the waitress to tell her. She fixed the check and assessed an automatic 18% gratuity. The service and the owner were frankly the most obnoxious people we have yet met in our 59 years of going to restaurants. Rude, brusque, mislabelled menu (under ""vegetarian"" there was a lasagna which came replete with beef; when queried, the waitress AND the owner said we should have confirmed the absence of meat and were insistent on charging for a replacement meal. They relented only under our insistence). Save your sanity! more

Worst service ever. And I mean ever. Waiting staff and manager were offensively rude. Food was mislabeled on menu. We ordered lasagna and it was not vegetarian as menu claimed, so we sent it back. Good food and they try hard. 3/24/2005

This restaurant has good food and our server seemed to try very hard. They were very attentive to our needs although with the heavy accents it was difficult to understand him at times. I ordered Halibut and it was great. It's a little odd how the wine is in the middle of the restaurant, but that's what makes them unique I suppose. The service was the rudest I've ever experienced, they don't care about their customers AT ALL, their food is so-so and their prices are way too high for what you get. I can't believe I wasted my money on this place. The service was the rudest I've ever experienced, they don't care about their customers AT ALL, their food is so-so and their prices are way too high for what you get. This was the WORST food experience ever 2/10/2005

I was at a group function this evening with 9 other couples supporting this pathetic restaraunt. The owner served us (I'm being kind by saying served). It was more like we were a complete inconveinence. She threw the meals on table in front of us, rudely interrupted our guest speaker several times and acted completely disgusted with the fact we weren't going to order any wine. I have never been so frustrated with spending my money at a place of business as I was tonight! I actually regret supporting her business... I am a well respected local businessman who earns clients respect through hard work and service. How this restaraunt has survived for 6 years is beyond my understanding. You would be better off with a TV dinner served by a 2 year old. Cons: Service, Service, Service more
