An Albert Luiz Salon

Ok. So I got a gift card for my birthday and was so excited to get my hair done here. I HAD very pretty bleach blonde hair, but wanted something a little darker and less high maintainence. My stylist, Anthony, and I decided on a sandy blonde. I couldn't have stressed anymore to him that I naturally have red in my hair and do NOT put anything red in it because I despise red hair. He did explain that I would have to dye it twice because my hair was so light that the new color would fade significantly (which I was aware of, I often change my color from light to dark). OMG! As soon as he took the towel off, I immediately said that it was too red, but the lighting in the salon is so bad I didn't even see the green until I got home. I called them the next day and told them they have to fix it, but they said they would not get to me until Tuesday (this was Sunday). They wanted me to walk around with red and green hair! I told them that it cannot wait until Tuesday and I will go get it done somewhere else. The receptionist said ""fine"". I tried calling the manager and never got a response. Finally 3 days later the owner called. This is his response. Apparently, I should have walked around with my red and green hair until I could get in. He first said he wouldn't do anything b/c I went somewhere else, and despite the fact that the receptionist said I couldn't come in, I should have gone in anyway and someone would ""probably"" have taken me. Plus, their policy is you have to go back to the person who screwed up your hair to begin with. They will not let you go to another person and will NOT bend this rule. I'm sorry, but I would not let this person touch my hair again! I eventually could only get a credit to my gift card. Hopefully, they can't screw up a masage. This is the most poorly ran business/salon I have EVER been to. I spend over $100 a month getting my hair done and have never been treated like this. The owner does not care if you are happy or not just as long as he has your money. I will NEVER go back, and please, save yourself some heartache and NEVER go to Anthony. He should have NEVER let me walk out of there like that to begin with. Cons: Crappy service more

Albert Luiz Salon is known for providing services to many Miss USA pageant system contestants. That is how I learned about the salon, so I had high expectations going in for my first visit. Yvette, a sylist, at an Albert Luiz salon, went above and beyond to consult with me about the history of my hair and how she could help me best reach my goals for my hair. She educated me on the best styling products and gave me new techniques to bring out my new style. She and I were thrilled with the outcome, but she was extremely enthuasiatic to see the results. I also had the opportunity to receive amazing education on skin care from the spa at the salon. Somethinng that I really appreciated and look forward to continue to add to my beauty routinue. I left feeling like a new improved verison of me. I look foward to next time. more

I have really thick full volume hair and everytime i get a haircut, i always regret it. It never comes out right! But i found Julie and she asked what I liked and what was wrong with my hair and so on. She gave me her honest opinions and I told her, LETS DO IT! I came out of the salon super satisfied & happy with my new haircut because it was exactly what i wanted! You need to ask for Julie! She gives great service and great haircuts!! I`m definitely going back to find Julie!! Pros: Great atmosphere & super honest Cons: MUST make appointment. more

2 separate complaints for 2 separate visits for 2 separate people. 1. I bought a very pricey mom's day spa package, in which a haircut was included. Her haircut was totally not her nor what she wanted to say the least. I went back to the salon with her to try to get the stylist to fix it, but it was too late. I guess they don't care after you have already paid them the big bucks. Don't pre-pay them, or you may not get the best service/quality! 2. I went to them for my eyebrows (waxing) after doing much research and seeing that they were the official site for miss teen or some pageant or another. I told the woman that I like my eyebrows thick and very specifically instructed her on how to do them and what hair to remove. She totally waxed off half my brows and I looked like a fool! Do not trust them to do your eyebrows. Pros: nice atmosphere Cons: not good at what they do more

I have been growing out my hair for about 6 months, but I really needed a haircut since I was getting a lot of split ends. My friend had got her hair cute by Julie, and it was great! It still had its length and also had texture. So the next day I made an appointment with Julie, and she was awesome :) My hair had a lot more volume, and I recently just came for her to dye my hair! She asked what kind of hairstyles I liked and so on, and went from there. She made me feel comfortable during my whole stay. Because of her, I will definitely come back. After many years of failed facials and skincare programs, I found Miraya! She has completely turned my skin around. No more facial breakouts. I swear she's makes me look 10 years younger. I live inside the loop so it is a bit of a drive to the Williams Trace location, but completely worth it! Pros: Custom skincare and facials, pampering more

I Love Yvette Peralta?.she is at the Williams trace location. I have been getting a relaxer for a looong time and before I discovered Yvette I thought getting a chemical burn was apart of getting a relaxer?However when I started getting a relaxer from Yvette my head has none I mean zero discomfort no chemical burns!!! I am so happy that I found someone that does my hair exactly how I want it done?if I say no cut?she says ok no cut unlike other stylists that pressure you into it?.not to mention if I have an appt @ 6:00 then Im seen at 6:00? I have had plenty of experiences where I make the appt and not seen till an hour later?which what is the point of the appt if you have to wait for an hour?!?! I have nothing but good things to say about YVETTE! I?m so glad I found her!!!!! She is awesome! I also get PM shines and other treatments and even had her put in extensions (which I have never had done before) and I loved it!! It was for a Halloween party but it came out so natural looking that everyone thought that I was my hair?..Anyone looking for a relaxing time at a salon go check out Yvette you?ll be happy you did~! I Love Yvette Peralta….she is at the Williams trace location. I have been getting a relaxer for a looong time and before I discovered Yvette I thought getting a chemical burn was apart of getting a relaxer…However when I started getting a relaxer from Yvette my head has none I mean zero discomfort no chemical burns!!! I used to go to the Radney Day Spa, Beautique, and the Houstonian for facials. I live inside the loop so An Albert Luiz Salon is not the most convenient for me. But Miraya is definitely worth the drive. I know what to expect- a soothing and relaxing experience. I always leave there satisfied and knowing my money was well spent. more
