An Albert Luiz Salon

I was shocked to know that the previous review was written under my name regarding an eyebrow wax by Tamika. I absolutely did not write this review. I have been going to Albert Luis Salon & SPA for the last 4 years, and I absolutely love this Salon, every service I ever had has exceeded expectations. Every employee there is exceptional, professional, helpful,and friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful, and I highly recommend this Salon and SPA for any service. The previous comment was not fair to Tamika to misrepresent her exceptional work. I had the best facial I ever had with Tamika last time I was there. She is highly recommended. I had my eyebrows waxed by Tamika well over 6 months ago and I am still growing them out. I have lost my orginal shape and they have not grow back in as thick. As she was waxing my eyebrows i noticed hers where uneven and she waxed and styled mine the exact same shape of hers. This is supposed to be a reputable salon I have had better eye brow waxes for 1/3 of the price. I am hoping this review will spare anyone else of the same ordeal. more

As you can see by reading some of my previous salon reviews I have been to some of the ""best"" salons in Houston. I THOUGHT my search was over with the last salon but after a few visits I started to feel like my colorist just wasnt getting what I wanted any longer and I left several times not satisfied completely with my hair. I decided it was time for a change and I was on a mission to find a colorist that could give me what I wanted and what I was paying for. I decided to try Albert Luiz Salon because it was close to my house and because I read about a stylist there named ""Liz Duran"" and how she had won some best colorist contest. I must say from the time I booked my appointment everyone was not only very welcoming but also very professional. I met Liz, my colorist and stylist and I must say she is THE BEST and not to mention the sweetest I've ever been to!! She was wonderful and really took her time! She spoke with me about the color that I wanted and what she thought would look best on me. I haven't been this excited about my hair in a long time. I HIGHLY recommend Liz Duran. I have already seen her twice and both times I left a very happy girly!! I have received so many compliments on my hair and I can't wait to go back! She's the full package. She can cut and color beautifully, trust me. :) Pros: Liz Duran Rocks! Parking, Friendly staff more

can't rate other services, but the massage was above average.....this is a very nice and new facility, only down side is the parking...you either pay a meter or park in the garage and walk.....if you live out in the sugarland area, this is a great place to go w/o having to drive into town....i've also purchased gift certificates for family in past, and they liked it as well.... more

I went in on a Tuesday for the ""Afternoon Delight"": a massage and a facial. Both were great. Miraya, the aesthetician did my eyebrows before the facial and was very knowledgeable about products for my skin (it was very dry at the time). She provided me with non-stop attention and answered any questions I had about the process. She even gave me an awesome facial and back massage. I felt like heaven just after the facial. Then I got the massage....oh wow! Nahida was awesome. She could apply as much pressure or as little as needed. Wonder technique. She got right in there to those knots and guided them away. I was a bit sore the next day, but I know that's because I really needed everything she gave me! OH YEAH! Pros: Beautiful location, wonderful people, parking is good more

I brought a wedding party to the salon and was treated like we were a nuisance to the staff. We all had our hair styled, manicures and pedicures. The pedicure staff was great, but the hair stylists were unfriendly. For the money we spent there, we should have been treated much better. more

I have learned to trust his professional judgement about what truly flatters me and no longer walk in with preconceived ideas about what my hair needs to look like when I stand up from his chair. We talk about what is going on in my life and how much time I do or do not have for maintenance and then I let him do his job. Some have referred to him as "The Hair Nazi", and he definitely has an opinion about what works and what does not. but he knows what he is doing and does not ever cut your hair poorly. To me the price is well worth the quality of work done. Go to him and relax, you won't be sorry. Pros: Professional, Timely, Excellent Stylist Cons: Parking is limited more

After spending plenty of money at in-town salons and spas, I am happy to report that I can consolidate all of my beauty needs at Albert Luiz. Kenny Whitehead has transformed my basic bob to something classic and cool while Mevlija is a master at color. My manis and pedis last much longer than when done at other salons and the prices are very competitive. more

Kenny has been cutting my hair for over 6 years and I travel far to just see him. He is one of the best hair dressers in Houston! I recommend him to all my friends! more
