Worst Insurance every...Rude Agents!!! 6/29/2011

Their driver hits me from behind in a brand spanken new car only 24 hrs old. I had to do their work for them, and I did it hoping to get the process done faster. I submitted the estimate twice, police report showing their driver at fault. Calling them several time, for them to tell me it will be another 48 hours every other day when I would speak to them. I had 4 minors in my vehicle and all I ever wanted was my car to be fixed. This was a $47,000 car for them to just put a hold and take their sweet time. Well they will get what is coming in the end. Thanks Access American for all your help in nothing. For treating people like crap. Hopefully someone from this company reads their reviews and makes a management decision on somehow improving this business. more

American Access Casualty Scam 6/23/2011

This company is a scam. They have you go out and get estimates and then offer you cash for almost 50% lower than the lowest estimate... that's without ever seeing my vehicle. I asked them what repair shop would do it for their discounted reimbursement. They said that was my job and all they could do was pay for what they felt was reasonable... again, never saw my vehicle. Because they delay payments to other insurance companies to stay afloat they do everything they can to make it difficult to work with them forcing one to file with their own insurance. The claims person was eager to close the claim when I even mentioned this. On top of this there were calls that weren't returned, hold music for over an hour that resulted in answering machine, etc. Next stop is to report to BBB. This is my first time ever to post a negative article about a company, but this one is well deserved and hopefully a forewarning to other consumers. more

OMG....so let me tell you I agree with all the reviews that have been posted here we are in a process of a claim and it seems that for some reason they have that margarita is the only person to contact regarding any accident claim and tell me why she does not know how to return phone calls at all thisi s the worst insurance company ever. They are the most unprofessional company ever and no one has been able to help us out in our claim is getting frustrated and just by reading reviews it seems it will be months before I get any status of our vehicle. more

Not so bad 4/12/2011

My car was hit by a person with AA insurance and unfortunately it was totaled. I was freaking out, after reading all the horrible reviews about this company, and was prepared for a long and painful fight (I only had liability). To my surprise they were quick, professional and responsive to phone calls. I not only got a fair amount for my car, but a refund for towing and storage, that they claimed at first they would not cover. So I either was lucky or they have changed their practices due to bad reviews. I did stay on top of the case and called them every day to check on the status of the claim. My accident happened two weeks ago, and I already got the check. So overall I am satisfied with their services. As long as you don?t expect to ""make money"" on your accident, and just expect what you deserve you should be ok. more

I was told by American ACCESS that my claim was denied due to no evidence of forcible entry. That no claim will be covered loss is due to theft if evidence exists that no forcible entry was used to gain access to the vehicle, or that the keys were left in the vehicle while unattended or no evidence that ignition wires were altered to operate the automobile without keys. From the time i reported my car stolen it has been in the possession of the thief, then the police, then the pound, and now American access. They state that no forcible entry was used to gain access to the vehicle. more

Rip off Rip off I hate American Crapcess 3/9/2011

Worst company EVER!! First off I had numerous of problems with them. First they tell me they handle things and it never gets done. Then I had an accident and I had American crapcess as I call them at the time. I'm so regretting now I ever went with this company. They Don't pay on claims and now I have to go to court on a claim that American crapcess didn't resolve. I had an accident which was minor and filed a claim with american crapcess and thought it was handled and american crapcess was offering less than what the damage was for. I had filed then with state farm the other drivers insurance company and now I'm being sued by them because American access was giving them low numbers for the claim and state farm denied it every time.They say I have to pay over 1000 dollars to resolve this claim and it's money I don't have let alone for the court costs. I don't want to have to go to court to resolve a claim that amerian crapcess was suppose to resolve. They don't pay claims or return phone calls and are lier's and obviously have idiots working for them. I agree with all the reviews worst company ever. I hate american crapcess. I am so regretting it. more

Liars, Rude, Unprofessional Thieves 3/2/2011

I am having the worst experience with this company. I too have to deal with Rosie Rivera. She won't let you get a word in over hers. She is rude, aggressive and a total liar! She is telling me that I lied about their policy holder hitting my car, so their offer is less than 50% of the damage! I too gave a statement over the phone, I faxed in a claimant report that was sent to me by Rivera. I phoned her to make sure she received it. She lied and said she never received it.She gave me another # to fax it over again which I did the same day I spoke to her. She is an arrogant ""you know what"" and very difficult to deal with.Now I am waiting for a response from her.She gave me an estimate that is less than 1/2 of the estimate that I got from an autobody mechanic.What's the deal with these thieves?They should not be allowed to be in business.I regret that I ever had to deal with them - it is very frustrating. I am happy to hear that other poor suckers like me know what this company is all about.They need to be shut down and get rid of RR!They don't deserve any *. If there is a lower rating than 1 * that is what they deserve. more

WORST INSURANCE EVER 1/18/2011

I had too much headache dealing with these scumbags and crooks. Their estimate is way to low, that with it you can't fix a bicycle. Their labor rate is $26(That is what they told me). (in any body shop labor is not under $70), and you can assume what quality of service you will get for $26. They will force you to use their shops or you can take estimate money and fix 10% of your car with it.. I paid full price premium for 6 months, I check with Progressive they are more expensive just for $50 for the same full coverage insurance policy. They will sent you to some lowest-grade body shops and they will made an estimate even not looking at the car, and based on 3-4 pictures. DON'T GET THIS SCUMBAG INSURANCE, YOU WILL REGRET AS I DID. I am out of my nerves dealing with Maggy and Ketty, possible the only employees there. I am wondering who let these crooks to run any kind of business. more

Extremely rude, unprofessional, FORGET about leaving messages for adjusters in particular ""Faith"" is her name. no response. IF YOUR THINING OF JOINING THESE GUYS......ONLY FOR LEGAL REASONS which you can submit to police in case you get pulled over....otherwise PAY THE EXTRA BUCK AND STAY AWAY from these basement operated ghetto operation. ACCESS will give you about 50% of the actual estimate, i dont know how they get their estimates, I took their offer and will be shelling out a few hundred from my pocket to fix my car. I think I could have went to my insurance company but I got sick of this issue. STAY AWAY. TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE excuse for a company. more

Wost company ever! 12/3/2010

On Sept 19th, a young mexican national with no AZ drivers license hit my car while stopped at a red light on a Sunday morning. The car was not registered or insured in her name. She didn't speak English. I called American Access Casualty Company the next day and reported the accident. The lady who took my call wrote down the accident information. Her name is Rosie Rivera. Later I got the same exact form with all the same questions and filled it out and turne it in. I've left countless messages and been promised a call back. But no one ever does call you back. I did get an adjuster to look at my damage car but it seems like nothing ever became of it. I tried to call them today, Friday Dec 2nd at 12:30 PM but the recording says their office is closed and to call back Monday - Friday 8am to 7PM. WTF!! Where the hell are these people? I don't know how you can run a business like this unless your a 1 man mom and pop shop. This company is worthless and after reading the comments here I feel damned if I'm going to see a dime out of these *astards. more

This insurance is so horrible. I got into a car accident with some and i call their insurance the following day and they told me they needed some paper work to be done,i ask they what they needed, they say a copy of the original police report. so i went and fax it to them and they told me they needed time and say they will call me uh call me they don't even pick up their phone. three months later pass and they told me they are only going to give me 500 dollars to a car that was damage of 1,600 dollars, so now im going to report the company to better business bureau and file a claim to the state of Illinois. And make justice because this is just to ridiculous more

The WORST INSURANCE EVER!!!!! 11/8/2010

Haven't had such a bad service ever!!! I was hit by a guy who didn't speak any English, had no drivers license, but he did have American Access Insurance! The policeman told me right away that it basically means that I am gonna have to fix my car through my insurance, unless I have strong nerves. So it's been over a month and still they cannot get an authorization on appraisal estimate. The agent I was dealing with was the rudest and most unpleasant female human. But I am determined to go till the end no matter how much of my time it is gonna take, and definatelly file a complant. more

CRAPPY INSURANCE COMPANY 9/9/2010

My wife was hit by one of there insured drivers. This occurred in January 2010. It is now September 2010 and we are just now being offered a check for $332 for the damage done to my wife's car. The estimate was for $581 to make repairs. They seem to hire only people who have permant residency and not citizens. They never answer there phones or return calls. They are not professional and how they are in business I do not understand. If you have any dealings with this company just be prepared to get the run around and to be cheated. God Bless! more

My sister recently was in an accident with someone who has this insurance. The street was a two way. The person driving decided to come from behind on the left hand side instead of going right and speed up as my sister is about to turn hitting the left front of my truck. First the other driver said that the car was parked and then said that she got in their way. The adjuster for them says that it was my sisters fault but I know that to be untrue. The responsible party was paid off. They did not conduct a complete investigation and just concluded it was her fault even when I told them in my statement that the person improperly used the street. I plan to fight this and hope that the Better Business Bureau is keeping a eye on this company. This shows 2 things about this insurance company. One, they do not follow proper procedure and lie about it and they insure drivers who are beyond a risk and really should not be allowed to drive. Cons: Everything more

Youre screwed if you have to deal with American Access 4/30/2010

Got into an accident with someone who is insured with American Access. This lady failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection, and hit my car causing it to spin out onto the grass while hitting a parked car and that car hit the parked car in front of it. I called and notified American Access the following day since the accident occurred on a sunday. Was lucky enough to get an appraiser to look at my car 2 days later, only because i bitched about not having a car to get to and from work. Meanwhile, everytime i call them to find out whats going on- it goes straight to voicemail. When i finally do get ahold of the adjuster he tells me they cant do anything until they get a copy of the accident report (""a week had gone by since they requested it from the police dept"") so i decided to fax it to them in hopes of the process to hurry up and continue. Two weeks later i had left them two angry/upset voicemails, since all it does is go to voicemail. I finally got a call from them and a voicemail for me to call them back- i did, had to leave yet another voicemail. the next day i finally talk to the adjuster who then told me the damages estimate and what they will offer me. I called him back a few mins later and yet again had to leave a voicemail asking him to send me the papers and itemized list of information they had. when i received the papers and when through them thoroughly and found many errors on what they said were ""previous unrelated damages"" and what they said my car had and didnt have in the local market comparable values. Oh, and the number they gave on the letter of their offer to me to reach them.. WAS A DISCONNECTED NUMBER! I made note of everything that was wrong with the paper work. To avoid a phone tag or constant voicemails to them on my behalf, i got the adjusters email and emailed him with all the mistakes i found and the questionable things they had noted that made no sense and stated that i would be waiting for a new offer. a week goes by and i dont hear from them at all. so i called him the following monday yet AGAIN having to leave him a voicemail. today is the following friday and i have yet to hear from them. after having to call there multiple times i finally got ahold of the adjuster just to find out he didnt touch the paperwork and it just sat in his email for 2 weeks. i am beyond pissed off! my car has been sitting in the drive unusable for a month and a half now. this jerk decides to tell me he will get me an answer on monday and for me to contact him. I told him no, HE BETTER CONTACT ME. been trying to get ahold of whoever is above him there and complain and raise hell, because this is bullshit. i dont have the money, but i will take them to court if i have too. this is just ridiculous. oh and i got a call from him in which i did not answer saying he did what he needed to do and would hopefully get the results later today or monday and that he wanted to talk to me about the other stuff i was inquiring in the email, and i know that was only because he found out i was trying to talk to the person above him and when they werent there the lady transfered me to him instead saying she talked to him and shes going to transfer me to him, as soon as i heared his voice, i hung up. i refuse to deal with him. I feel so sorry for anyone paying these people for insurance, although they seem to be the people who get lucked out. and I feel sorry for anyone who gets into an accident with anyone who has these pathetic people for their insurance because YOU WILL GET NO WHERE WITH THEM AND THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU AT ANY COST.
