Dead water heater 2/3/2017

I noticed no hot water and looked up the Nahman website. After a quick online chat, I was connected by phone and within minutes I had an appointment set up, same day, a few hours later. Fernando showed up at the beginning of the 2 hour window, quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me clear fee quotes, and proceeded with repair. He also replaced my bathroom sink washers. I couldn't have been more pleased with the responsiveness and competence. more

Fernando was extremely thorough and responsive to understanding the problems I had with my existing plumbing under the sink. He listened well to the sequence of how and when my kitchen was remodeled, and then explained where previous mistakes were made and how serious they were. He then addressed how to approach my immediate problem with installing a dishwasher. And subsequently provided a quote for the work to be completed to correct previous errors. Nahman is lucky to have Fernando working for the company. I recommend him highly! more

Good service from Alex I. 1/11/2017

The technician who came to my house, Alex I., was smart, efficient, and delightful. I was ready to be grumpy because I had to wait 2 days to get an appointment, and then today had to wait 2 hours for his arrival, but Alex softened my mood very quickly, AND cleared up my plumbing problems with skill and good humor. He also had a recommendation for some further work, but didn't push this at all... just gave me an estimate, and readily accepted my decision to hold off on the additional work until a later date. more

Great service 1/7/2017

I call Albert Nahman to fix a leaky faucet which was leaking water under our kitchen sink. I called them because they had installed a new water heater a year or so ago and the service was exceptional. It was exceptional again. Anthony B did a fast and friendly service call and solved our problem. Thanks Anthony. . more

Fixed Toilet Leak 1/6/2017

Giving four stars, Fernando was great, super efficient and really helped us understand the problem. The missing star was for the price, normally not an issue with us, but we felt 356 dollars for about 55 minutes to fix a leak was a bit excessive. more

one full floor height of drain pipe repaired! 12/21/2016

I noticed some mold on my wall and determined that it was not a roof leak. In the repairs that ensued, Mario, Jose and Sam from Albert Nahman could not have been more knowledgeable, helpful or professional. Mario inspected the situation and suggested a very capable mold abatement company that removed the wet wall, exposed the offending drain pipe and set up dryers. Mario returned to make the estimate and coordinate a repair date, and again on the day of the repair to make sure that all the requirements were communicated. Mario has also arranged a quote for the restoration of the walls. Jose and Sam were efficient and well prepared removing and replacing the pipe. A whole story's worth of 89 year old pipe was removed and replaced with a minimum of disturbance to the walls. I am very pleased with their work and will certainly call on them again for plumbing needs in the future. more

Albert Nahman Plumbing & Heating ROCKS! 12/8/2016

My furnace quit working, right before the latest cold spell hit. Called a different plumbing and heating company first. The tech came out, dug around in the furnace, said the blower was jammed, and said that since it was 47 years old I couldn't get parts for it. I'd need to replace it. Wonderful. His company gives an estimate of $4800-$5300, the second estimate says $5800-$7400. The third company I called was Albert Nahman. Tony shows up, I tell him what's going on, and that I need an estimate for a new furnace. Tony checks the old furnace out, and in about thirty minutes he's got the blower working and producing warm air. Tony was professional and extremely competent. He explained the troubleshooting process in detail, and recommended service to keep the furnace working in the future. To say I'm overjoyed at not having to go through the hassles of a furnace replacement is an understatement! An outstanding experience! more

Extremely Satisfied 12/7/2016

I have worked with Tony Contreras at AN P&H and he is consistently thorough, patient, and very clear about identifying the problem and, in some cases, creatively solving it. Tony has worked on some very basic plumbing needs, as well as more complicated ones and has been incredibly professional, tireless, and pleasant throughout the process. He is masterful when it comes to working on tankless water heaters and, in my case, installing a drip pan in a very tight, un-accommodating space. I am very grateful to Tony and his craftsmanship and expertise. more

Service performance by Alex 11/23/2016

Alex did a professional job in attending to three problems I have asked for repair. His initial conduct was very straight forward, without any hesitation to conduct the cost estimate for the job. Once agreed, he went about the business and reported back on the service performed and sought out confirmation for the quality of work done. When I saw the truck he used to arrive at my house, I knew he was a junior employee, as the truck was an old one. He informed me that he has been working with Nahman Plumbing for about one year. I believe that Mr. Nahman picked a good apprenctice. more
