My furnace quit working, right before the latest cold spell hit. Called a different plumbing and heating company first. The tech came out, dug around in the furnace, said the blower was jammed, and said that since it was 47 years old I couldn't get parts for it. I'd need to replace it. Wonderful. His company gives an estimate of $4800-$5300, the second estimate says $5800-$7400.
The third company I called was Albert Nahman. Tony shows up, I tell him what's going on, and that I need an estimate for a new furnace. Tony checks the old furnace out, and in about thirty minutes he's got the blower working and producing warm air. Tony was professional and extremely competent. He explained the troubleshooting process in detail, and recommended service to keep the furnace working in the future.
To say I'm overjoyed at not having to go through the hassles of a furnace replacement is an understatement! An outstanding experience!
