Alex came to fix various leaks around my house that have been around for a long time. He also fixed my toilet that had previously required holding down the lever for 45 minutes to complete a flush. Enrique replaced the faucet, controller and shower head in my only bathtub. He came on time and completed everything in 6 hours. He was professional and friendly. He talked to me before all the key steps, in particular when turning off the water supply to the house. In addition, he diagnosed and fixed a noisy toilet. He cleaned everything up and I have new and nicer fixtures in my bathtub/ shower. I recommend Enrique and this company without reservation. I also want to commend Sal for diagnosing the original leak and helping Enrique in the demolition. more

I am SO happy with the service I received from Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating! Two weeks ago after a heavy rain my sump pump failed and consequently flooded my day care playroom. That day I tried three companies, two that never returned my calls and ANPH actually answered right away and sent their tech Alex out that afternoon to install a new pump IN the pouring rain and saved the day! I own a 110 year old brown shingle in Oakland. All kinds of maintenance/improvement projects were deferred while raising our children and putting them through school. So, it was time to finally begin all of them. . Re-plumbing the entire house was the place to start. From my perspective there was little pleasant or easy about the work. Though concerned about price, that was not the first criteria for selecting a firm. We wanted experienced, reliable professionals who would be able to complete the project in as little time as possible with minimal delays and the highest professional standards. I believe the team from Albert Nahman Plumbing met all of those expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone facing a similar project. We will in fact be redoing the heating and they will be our first call. more

Jose was very knowledgable and professional. He came prepared to fix a backed up laundry line (which he did), but was able to troubleshoot the longstanding kitchen faucet problem as well. He showed initiative, and communicated fully to me what the problem was, and what the repair costs would be. We had received very good service from Albert Nahman Plumbing & Heating in the past. But this time, we were displeased with their service. First of all, they charged an arm and a leg for a basic faucet, air gap & garbage disposal installation. We agreed to it becasue we really needed it done that day, and we had been happy with their service in the past. Only after the technician left did I realize that he had taken with him our previous air gap (which was like new), and any instructions/product registration cards, etc. that may have been in the packaging and that we may need in the future. Since *we* were providing all of the materials, none of it was his to take! He should have asked us if we wanted to keep any of it before simply walking away with it! Secondly, after about a half hour of him working, I heard conversation in the kitchen. When I went over to the kitchen, he introduced me to his "apprentice" -- He had allowed entry to our house to his "apprentice" without first letting me know that someone would be joining him. And lastly,the day after they did the work, I wrote the company an email about our less-than-stellar service. They never responded. Very disappointing for a company that had provided good service in the past. Based on our experience this time and the ridiculous rate they charged for this job, they won't be our first choice for our next job. more

In this case, Chris checked out each part of the system to determine the problem, fixed it quickly and asked me if I needed help with replacing the filter. I couldn't be happier. more
