My recent experience with Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating was a 5. They replaced a hot water heater for me. He diagnosed the problem and explained the solution to me. It was such an old tank and he recommended replacing it. I could not disagree with that. I'm glad that he finished the job in the two or three hours it took. It's been very good work from what I've seen so far, and at the moment everything's fine. I was happy that they came out as scheduled for the job that they finished in half a day. more

I had a new floor being installed at the same time as Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating was doing the plumbing work and they worked well with the tile setter, which I liked. I thought the pricing was fair. They arrived on time and when the work was more than they bargained for they stayed on to finish the job. more

I recently went to Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating, and have been quite happy with how the work from them has gone. The person that came out to do the work was very helpful and courteous while he was here doing the work, and was great at answering any questions we had, keeping us informed of what work was being done. The work itself was finished without any issues, and we haven't had any problems since the work was done. Overall I think Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating did an excellent job with the work we needed done, I would highly recommend their services. more

I recently used Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating and was quite pleased with how the work from them went. The gentleman who came out was very nice, and very good at keeping us up to date with what issues he had found, and what work he was doing. The only negative part of my experience at Albert Nahman was that I had to call back to get the invoice for the work that was done, I was told I would be receiving an electronic version of it, but it was never sent over. Overall I was quite pleased with the work from Albert Nahman, I will definitely be using them again, and other than that small hiccup would definitely recommend their services. more

The guys over at Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating are different than any other plumber company that I have worked with in a very good way. Unlike the other guys, Albert Nahman Plumbing was honest with me about my problem, almost painfully so. They talked to me about the big picture which I really appreciated. This was my first time using Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating, and I would absolutely use them again. There was a problem with a pipe and it was not working. We had no heat over the holidays. They replaced the pipe and it was running again. They were polite and friendly. I think I am going to have them come back and check out our system. more

We had two non-emergency sewer line leaks in the basement of our recently purchased +100 year old house. Stanly K. spent at least 30 minutes doing a no-charge walk through to identify the problems. There was quite a bit of discovery involved because of all the plumbing changes that took place over the years. Stanly was clearly very knowledgeable and easy to work with. As I had some familiarity with the plumbing, we spent time going over several possible solutions. He picked a path that I am comfortable with and I am sure will work well. more

They do excellent work at Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating. They might be a little expensive, but they do a really good job. I hired them to come in and tune up a central forced air system. I also asked him a question about a newly installed dishwasher overflow line, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He even gave me some tips on how to solve a leaky faucet. That was very useful information. I would use this service again. I would recommend the company to others, but I would advise them to shop around for cheaper prices first. more

They were super communicative and we just had a diagnostic so it was not a complicated job but we found out about them from a recommendation through a friend and everyone always speaks very highly of them and they didn't disappoint. They were on time, they were very communicative, they went straight to the point to figure out the problem and it didn't cost a lot of money. more

I was mostly happy with how the service from Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating went. The work itself went fine, and we haven't had any issues since with the areas they worked on. The only complaint I have is that the first tech came out to the store, and instead of coming in or calling he just waited in his truck outside, and when I didn't come out, he left without doing the work. I called to complain and they said they would send someone out the next day, the person who arrived did the same thing and just waited out in his car, thankfully after a while of waiting this worker came and knocked on the door to let me know he had arrived. Overall the work itself went well, but the customer service could have been better. more

Every person who came out was extremely polite, very professional and very respectful. They were really great in getting the job done and explaining everything. The Nahman team was quick to respond to our urgent need for a clearing of a blocked main sewer which was emptying raw sewage into our back cottage from main house. Diane got a crew of Alex and Sam to come out within hours on the same day! Alex and Sam were professional and expert at accessing the block and worked steadily for four hours clearing major tree roots that had entered a cracked drain in our driveway. They quoted a price before beginning the work and stayed true to that quote! The equipment that they used was state of the art, including a camera and screen which I was invited to view as they worked non stop to clear the roots that had invaded the main drain! I was very impressed with their work ethic, their polite, professional demeanor and their determination to leave me confident that I would have a working system once they departed. They are a great team! A great company which I have used in the past for smaller jobs! Thinking it was more

I have used Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating a few times over the years and every time is always fantastic. I have had them do a few things for me like installing a garbage disposal as well as putting in a dishwasher and I have no complaints at all. They are polite and professional and always respond in a very timely manner. Overall, I am always very satisfied and would highly recommend them. Great job guys!! more

There was a delay with Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating getting back to me after I put it an online request. I was scheduled out about a week later. The job went fine and they were polite and cleaned up after themselves. The cost was too expensive. We hire a lot of plumbers and this was just a shot in the dark, as we didn't know any plumbers in Berkeley, and we were stunned because the prices were so high. I might use them again in the future. more

They recently gave me an estimate for another job, and I could be using them again, although I might not need them. I would gladly recommend them to anyone in the market for a plumber. more

The technician from Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating did good with the content of service. I dropped a tube of toothpaste inside of the toilet and couldn't get it out myself, so I called Albert Nahman. The tech came by and he took a hard time too, because the object was quite heavy and he told us that usually when things drop inside of the toilet they are taken out by a simple vacuuming machine. But that didn't work for my case, so he had to attach the box tape--that is the strong tape--so he put it at the end of the snake right next to the camera. Using the vacuum he pulled out all the water and then he pushed inside the snake with the box tape. Finally he made that tape to be attached to the toothpaste tube and then he slowly pulled it out. We found the toothpaste and took it out--and he took a picture. It was my first time using them and they were very good but the only thing is that I wasn't really satisfied regarding the price. I'm not talking about the amount of the price itself, but before we called for the service I talked with someone at the office and that woman told me the price would be $50-$70. When the tech came over he charged me an additional $170. I chose Albert Nahman because he sounded ridiculously cheap in the beginning. It would have been nice in the beginning if they might give an approximate price so the customer can decide whether to go with them or not. more

We have been Albert Nahman customers for over 20 years and have always been very satisfied with their work. Lately we had a difficult hot water heater problem, a very thorny one that required a number of visits. Levi, one of the managers, quickly and graciously helped us to find the technician who could best help us. Toni came and thoughtfully and quietly came again, talked to the support at the water heater company, and got us the parts needed, installed, and voila, hot water again! Albert Nahman, the owner, also showed up at one point to make sure that we were getting the service we needed. We had become frustrated because it was taking so long to diagnose, etc., but Nahman really came through for us. I highly recommend. You can probably find a less expensive plumbing outfit, but Nahman has always seemed worth the slightly extra cost. You will be dealing with calm, persistent professionals. more
