Highway robbery 9/7/2015

Our condensation line was clogged and he wanted to charge me $225 to clean it out. He told me it would take 30 min and not really any parts involved. That means he was making $450 per hour. Are you kidding me? I jumped on you tube and found a $20/5 minute fix. more

Repeatedly failed to fix the problem. 9/6/2015

Four visits to fix the problem, I have collateral damage from this, they claim they won't repair the damage, but they won't charge for the work they did. What about the over $600 I've already paid. Said that they thought is warranty work? So what? The damage was caused because the technician misdiagnosed (twice) the problem. Twice a tech came out, and didn't do anything to stop the problem from getting worse. Once because it was after dark and crawling under the house gave him "heebie-jeebies' so he left. more

Excellent care 8/24/2015

We have always had excellent mechanics work in our units. This past Saturday with Don was no different. They always take the time to explain what was seen, what needs to be done, how long it will take with professionalism. I am grateful the mechanics cover their shoes with booties. Don had a smile on his face, even after working on my roof in 104degree temperature. They are reliable, fast and efficient. Would highly recommend to anyone!! more

Too expensive 8/19/2015

$350 quote to replace a $7 capacitor and 15 minutes labor. One on the technician sat on my outdoor furniture foot stool to put on shoes protection and broke it. 24 hours later the office doesn't have a resolution yet. Security cam recorded the incident. I would like a resolution. more

System check 8/19/2015

I requested a PM as advertised for a reduced price in a weekly flyer I received in the mail. I have a year old unit that was installed by another HVAC company. They wanted to sell me a twice yearly inspection contract at a fairly high price. The Tech from Alaskan was on time, professional and explained what he was doing and why. He did not try to sell me any other services and/or parts for the unit. When done he cleaned up after himself and gave me a complete report of his findings. A good job at a fair price. more

A huge waste of my time. 8/16/2015

When I asked the gentleman in Home Depot for a ball park estimate he insisted that I needed an in home estimate and we scheduled one with a two hour window for the sales rep to come over. After meeting the sales rep at my rental which is not close to where I live he said that I should have been set up with a phone call for the estimate which ended up being way more than the estimate I received from another contractor.. more

parts hi cost 8/15/2015

hello i would just like to say how much i am utterly disappointed with what i was charged for my parts for my air conditioner.. it was hi-way robbery no it was worse than that ..... i just don't know what to say about it I FEEL VIOLATED they charged me $315.00 for a part that cost under $20.00 more

Bait & Hook Company 8/14/2015

Jared/Sales Rep at Home Depot was not very honest about what their summer Special A/C Tune Up included and then Gary the manager would not back up his own salesperson's promises and ordered the Tech to pack up and leave when they demanded a substantial amount of money to unclog a condensation line and repair a broken line that was not broken!! and the condensation line supposedly was part of the check up? Not very honest and no integrity. more

got stood up 8/14/2015

I had a confirmed appoint sent to be by text and by email for august the 13th at 8:00. I understand its that bad time of summer but it said you had a 3 hour window. I waited till 3:00 and called. The girl said that my appointment wasn't till august 14th. I still have the text and the email and I went back to make sure I had the right dates and I did. She didn't know what happened there were not notes about the appointment being changed. Very disappointed. I couldn't wait around all day on the 14th, I already had plans so I had to reschedule on the 17th. I will let you know how that goes for sure more

First appointment was a SNAFU: it was supposed to be an 8:00am visit, Saturday, for routine A/C system check. Rcv'd a call about 8:30 (?) saying I had the option of a 2:00pm re-sked ..... I said YES. Then.... no technician at 2, NOR phonecall until 5:10pm with msg from tech advising me to call office to re-sked (again....). Hooray.... the re-scheduled, Tuesday appointment went off without a hitch. Moral to story: tech should always call if he cannot make the appointment. -Steve more
