At-home consultation 10/23/2015

I was very impressed with AC Comfort Consultant Jacob Dicken whom I consulted regarding an AC system via Home Depot. He is very knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge. He knows a lot about the whole AC business. I haven't decided on a AC system yet but I would like to work with him again. I may want to get AeroSeal done on the air ducts and also have more insulation blown into the attic prior to installation of a new AC system. For now, I am using a MasterCool cooler. more

Great Alaskan tech 10/22/2015

My Alaskan tech called me 20min before arriving and was very professional and courteous. He was honest with his assessment of all 3 of our AC units and helped me change one of the air filters located on the ceiling. I am glad that we purchased the extended warranty. more

Andy Checked our Heat Pump after an Alaskan representative sighed us up at Home Depot. 10/22/2015

The fact that Alaskan is affiliated with Home Depot locally, and the cost of a replacement unit would also be extremely high helped my wife and I decide to rely on Alaskan to keep it going some time longer. more

Timely, efficient, and informative 10/19/2015

Technician was on time, worked efficiently, solved the problem with the Freon, and informed me what he was doing and why. My friends were there for a two-week stay, and admitted the serviceman. I am in Washington State and so we communicated by telephone. The entire process went smoothly more

Mike was terrific - very thorough and professional. 10/17/2015

My A/C unit was a bit noisy but I hadn't found an A/C company to check it out. I took Home Depot up on their diagnostic offer and Alaskan Home Services was at my house the next day. Mike did a COMPLETE diagnostic of the entire system - this process took over an hour, but every part of the system was evaluated and documented. Mike even performed some minor repairs of the original installation that left some air leaks in the attic. After he was done I decided to sign a 3-year service contract with them to get inspections done every 6-months. This company should be happy to have Mike in the field representing the company! more

Tom thoroughly checked my furnaces and air conditioners. I am very happy they were in good condition and liked his appearance and explanations. I asked about replacing them and he gave me a complete explanation of what was available without any pressure. more

Technician recommended A/C renew. He called the home office to verify if I had previously had A/C renew installed. Office said no. I checked my Alaskan file and I did pay for and believe it was installed 5-5-15. Please correct your records. THX more

Technician was very courteous and professional and overall service visit was very good, and very expensive 10/11/2015

I set up a $40.00 tune-up visit and was expecting to be sold more service, somewhere in the $100.00 - $200.00 range. I was sold a $1400.00 maintenance agreement instead. It was my call and I agreed to it. The technician was not pushy or aggressive. In fact, he was "educational". I just hope I needed to spend that much money. more
