Great service 10/15/2016

Abacus scheduled my service quickly. Brett came out on time and assessed my clogged shower drain problem. Recommended snaking and gave me a quote. Completed the job neatly, quickly, and thoroughly. Drain was working properly in just a few minutes. Gave advice about how to avoid clogged drains. Got discount since I am a member- worth it in my opinion. Got email receipt. Very happy with service and will use Abacus for future plumbing needs. more

Excellent job. 10/14/2016

Chris from Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical came out and had to replace a plot of my sewer line down by the sewer. The crew was excellent. They had to dig a big hole to get to the problem. They were quick, efficient, and professional. Really did a good job. I would absolutely recommend them to other people. I would use them again. more

Fixed blown fuse in furnace 10/14/2016

Our fuse kept blowing out on our furnace and Les was able to get to our house within an hour on a thursday night. He went through our wiring and was able to diagnose where the problem was. He was courteous, professional, and walked me through what he did to fix our system. more

A Reliable Company 10/13/2016

I can't remember how I found out about Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical. However, I had a leaky toilet and they were able to fix it with no problems. I called them and they were out right away - a very reliable company. Prices seems fair. more

Plumbing Repairs 10/13/2016

We have used Abacus Plumbing three times, for a water leak, clogged drain and a new Water Heater. Each time the work was done in a very fast, friendly and professional manner. We also received advise and costs of other jobs we are considering. All in all these were very pleasant experiences. We would highly recommend Abacus Plumbing. more

Very dependable 10/12/2016

What I like the most about the people over at Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical is that they are dependable. We have used them for a long time and every time they come at the appointed time. I like that they call ahead to let you know that they are on their way so that your schedule and theirs is in sync. I feel like their prices might be a little high, but they are so dependable that I cannot really complain. We really appreciate the service that we have received from these guys over the last seven years or so. more

We located Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical in the yellow pages of our phone book. We called them to come and repair a water leak that we had on the property. The guys they sent were polite and very professional. They did the job quickly and efficiently. They did a good job. We would definitely recommend them to other people. This was our first time using this company, and we would use them again. more

We have NO complaints about our recent experience with Abacus and our technician.?? The office staff communicates effectively and efficiently in regards to scheduling and arrival of the team.?? The technician managed the entire process - not only the plumbing, but the tile, sheet rock, painting, and inspections by the city.?? He explained every part of the process, addressed concerns, gave us options to choose from, and was always responsive and quick to return phone calls.??He knew exactly what was going on with our job regardless of the fact that he was running other projects concurrent with ours.?? The technician was extremely professional and a sincerely great person.?? We couldn't have anticipated a better experience. more

Pete was fantastic. He spent time clearly explaining the HVAC system, how the evaporator coil works, and what explained our problem in detail. He did all of this even though the coil is under warranty from the builder HVAC company. If only more HVAC people like Pete existed in this world for the customers who need a trusted HVAC technician.?? more

I was really impressed with Kenny in performing our annual plumbing inspection. In particular, he explained that there have been some problems with the control module on our water heater. So to avoid any problems, Abacus was replacing the units. Since our water heater is still under warranty, there was no charge. This matter demonstrates the high quality of care and ethics of Abacus and its staff. more

He answered every question we asked. He offered suggestions on products. We belong to the "Bam" family at Abacus and have never regretted joining it. Everyone is very helpful and if someone doesn't have the answer, they will find someone who can give you the answer. We always recommend Abacus to anyone who asks what company we use. more

Leak under kitchen sink due to faucet. 9/30/2016

Kitchen faucet was leaking under the cabinet. Technicians came and identified the problem as a broken tube on the nozzle. They advised me to call the Moen manufacturer, as they told me that Moen has a very long and good warrenty. They could have easily just charged me for the part and the repair, but I was very impressed with their honesty. I called and Moen is sending a replacement part at no charge! I will have them come back to install the part. The technicians were very professional, polite and explained everything very clearly. Very impressed! more

Great service! 9/29/2016

I received a furnace check last fall and an AC check this year as part of the Abacus membership program. Both service technicians were timely, friendly, and professional. They clearly explained the work completed and insured that the work area remained free of debris. I also appreciated how easy it was to schedule the service. I was never placed on hold and the schedule had multiple openings available for convenience. I will definitely use their service in the future! more

Satisfactory Services for Light Fixtures 9/29/2016

I took in consideration of the good online ratings I saw regarding Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical - which persuaded me to try them out instead of their competition. So, when the technician came out to my residence I felt like he wasn't quite as prepared as he should have been, for instance, he didn't have his equipment with him just in case I wanted to hire him on the spot. He didn't have a ladder or anything else pertinent to the job. He began to give me quotes without really accessing the problems that I need fixed; just looked at this and that and told me what it would cost to get it fix. I wasn't happy with his proposal. I had to consistently call him to ask him when he'll fix the doorbell that should have been done right the first time. However, he changed out some light fixtures and the experience and the results were satisfactory. Overall, I just don't like the fact that I had to keep calling him to come back to complete and correct what he started. more

They have good customer relations 9/27/2016

I had called Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical because my air conditioner stopped working. They guy came out to inspect the unit and discovered that my roommate had turned off the switch for the air conditioner, which was the problem. Since he was there, he looked at my unit anyway and told me that my type of AC unit usually had like a five year warranty, but that if I didn't have it serviced regularly, the warranty would be void. So, he offered me to sign up for their maintenance plan, which would provide services to my unit a few times a year. I thought the price for this was very reasonable as opposed to paying for a service call two or three times a year. I will be recommending them to my friends. I really appreciated them taking the time out to explain things to me. more
