Positive experience with clogged toilet 6/20/2016

Chris was timely, kind, professional, and above all knowledgeable about our problem. We have only been in the house less than an year. We have had service performed on that bathroom (sink and toilet) so many times and each time it is cleaned out and the technician leaves with all functioning well, only, to have the same problem reoccur a few weeks later. Chris discussed a wide variety of possible things that could be causing the problems. And informed us of the program that would allow Abacus to check the entire house each year , draining the water heaters, etc. No one else had offered such a plan. Both my husband and I felt reassured that whatever gremlin that is in that bathroom, Abacus will find it and eliminate it. more

Our plumber was very professional and was able to remedy the water leak very quickly. He also had a thorough knowledge of what could have caused the pipe to leak.? Carefully explained pricing information for my understanding and also performed a water analysis. Very satisfied customer. more

Purchased an old home with so many serious issues and have had poorly qualified people in and out to fix various things. I typically don't write reviews but had a great experience with Abacus. I called and they sent out a plumbing technician the same day. Tim was very professional and provided an accurate quote before he began work. Even when the job was more difficult than he expected he continued to explain everything and worked to get the job done. We are very happy with the service and while I hope I don't have any future plumbing problems if I do will definitely use Abacus again. more

Great! 6/9/2016

We have nothing but good things to say about Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical. We hired them to do a check up of the system. There were rusted components on our water heater that we had to have replaced. Our overflow sewer line was clogged up and we had to have that fixed. They did a really good job and they gave us a list of other things that will need to be repaired and checked along the way. more

Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical were quick to respond to my problem. I hired them to change a thermostat out for me. This was my first time using them. They were on time, polite and courteous and made sure to clean up after themselves. I would use them again in the future. more

Hot water heater not working 6/6/2016

I called on Saturday afternoon and the person I spoke with was super pleasant. There was a call on Sunday within the specified window from another very pleasant person to let me know when a technician would show up. He showed up on time within the specified window on a Sunday morning. The technician Aaron was very professional and got right to work and fixed my hot water heater. He listened to my questions and replied very professionally. Was good to have the water heater repaired and hot water again. Great Sunday job, Abacus and Aaron! more

Everything was fine 6/2/2016

My roof was leaking, so I hired Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical to come check it out. I didn't know if it was the pipes or the roof, itself. It turned out that it was not the pipes, but a roofing problem. I was glad to find out that it wasn't the pipes that were the problem. I like Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical, and I am a member of their club so I receive a 15% discount. more

Rip off and crazy expensive 5/31/2016

Worst service ever. I hire them to perform and AC inspection prior purchasing a house. The first tech spend no more than 10 minutes and didn`t even inspected the evaporator. $400. I called back and complained about it so they end two guys. I`m egineer so as soon as I hear the foreman speaking about how AC units works I realized he had no idea what he was talking about. Kind of trying to get into technical stuff and in the middle of the explanations started with the heee, heeee, hummmm. They told me I needed a new plenum,new this and that, total $2000. They told me they would send me a report with prices so I could ask the owner a discount. Never got anything. $400 later I got nothing but my time waster. more

Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical just came in to do some light plumbing for me, I was having a problem with one of my drains in the house. They showed up on time and did great work. They were in and out and preformed the work very well. I would use them again or recommend them. more

Pipe leak 5/24/2016

Can't say enough about Abacus Plumbing. This is my second experience with the company. Both times were exceptional and I would highly recommend them. We had a pipe leak 5-20-2016 in our attic. Abacus came out when they said they would, moved quickly to get us repaired and contacted the water excavation company for us too! Just finished re piping our whole house with Abacus. No other plumbing company for us. Efficient, professional, good quality workmanship, great cleanup - a pleasure to work with! Kim and Richard Upton more

The cleaner from Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical was very polite. He showed up on time to clean out a drain in the bathroom sink. He made sure to clean up after himself. He fixed everything and I was happy with the service as a whole. more

Top-Notch Outfit 5/22/2016

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Abacus. I called them at 9 PM on a Friday night for next-day service and they were here to get the job done and done right. Jason is an excellent technician. We asked him about some other non-critical plumbing problems that we'd like to have done at a later date and he explained fully what they'd entail along with more dollar saving approaches. They hooked us up with a cleanup service to remove mold areas and dry out the carpet, which also turned out to to be a top-notch company with superb service (and reasonably priced). Great plumbing work on a moments notice! 5/21/2016

The installation of a tankless mosquito misting system required a water source which was to be provided be a water line to our pool. The day we received the quote of that system Abacus scheduled a plumber (Manny) to come in the afternoon. Manny arrived as planned professional discussed what needed to be done and quickly went to work, finishing is a couple of hours. Such quick work enabled us to schedule the misting system for the earliest possible time! We are very satisfied with the timeliness, professionalism, and quality of the work. We have used Abacus for several jobs and recommend the company. more

Wonderful plumbers. 5/19/2016

Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical was sent out three times in the last couple weeks. The first time, the water heater sprung a leak and they fixed it. The second time they changed out the other thermostat for the other water heater and checked for another leak. The third time they drained the water heater. I had two different plumbers and they were both thorough, both friendly and both helpful. more

Good but pricey 5/17/2016

Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical did a couple of power plugs and fixed a light in the kitchen. They had good customer service and I must have caught him in a good mood! It was kind of pricey, given that he wasn't here for that long. I would probably not use them again due to the cost, but they did a fine job. more

This was my first time using Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical. We found them online. They serviced us in the following areas: plumbing, AC and electric. So far so good on the results. I am satisfied. Fairly comparable prices. The staff was professional; stayed focus, prompt and cleaned up behind themselves.
