after years and years and yes years of searching i,ve found a company that really listens when you talk to them. thank you bayside i will never use another a/c company again more

bayside has always been fair in their pricing.last month when my unit burned out bayside responded the same day and had a new installed with in with in two days but most surprising of all when ever thing was all said and done they actually gave me back 200 dollars they had accdentilly over charged me. have had several heating companies in my, home though the years but none if any have come close to bayside. more

The previous post by Nahner123 is completely false and obviously fabricated. First off it anyone driled a hole in a refrigerant line with 350 lbs. of pressure in it, the Freon gas would leak out within 2 minutes. Secondly if the system was installed two years ago, all the parts are still under full factory warranty. Third it the system was wired wrong, how could it have operated for two full years?\r When our corporate attorneys started researching these slanderous accusations, they found that this person has apparently put several very strange posting on the internet. One of their messages was on a website that dealt with aliens abducting people from earth. They were asking other members if they knew what the secret code was??? Our service department ran approximately 14,000 service calls last year and obviously we are going to run into all kinds of people. \r We encourage all of our customers to please check our history with the BBB and the Consumer Protection Agency. You will find that we are a company built on integrity and we have one of the highest customer service ratings in the area to prove it. more

Horrible!!! Please don't use this company!! They installed a new air conditioner for us upon inspection they had to come out and reinstall it because it didn't pass..... One year later water in the closet drip pan was installed wrong. One year later in the middle of summer heat a almost new air conditioner suddenly stops working. They tell us that they have to put dye in the system it can take up to two weeks, ( Ok at this point I know I'm getting taken advantage of) , I tell them I no I need to think about it. They call back within two hours telling me that I really need to schedule this.. I say no thanks... And then comes the second opinion by a certified air conditioning company Technicians words ""What they will do is drill a small hole in the copper line so the freon leaks out slowly then charge you to come out and fix it, they also didn't wire correctly some of the wires are melted and there are arcs coming off of them it could have been a real fire hazard."".. Fixed for a very small fee from a small honest company.. not the 2000 they wanted to charge.. I am considering calling Bay News 9 on your side. They will rip you off!!!! more

My air conditioner went out recently and I called Bayside Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. They responded immediately, came out that day, the technician seemed very honest and knowledgeable, and fixed the problem at a reasonable cost. Bayside is a great, quality company, which seems to be hard to find these days! I will continue to use Bayside and recommend this company to my family, friends and neighbors. more

I inherited a service contract that was for a certain number of visits (not a chronological contract) in 2006. I had not used all the maintenance visits. This contract was to have No Charge diagnostics and 50% discounted parts and labor as well. I had Bayside install new Compressor and Air Handler in 2005. August 2009 (on a Saturday) the compressor went bad. The owner attempted to charge me for a diagnostic fee in addition to $900 in labor to replace a WARRANTIED compressor. When I reminded him about the contract, he told me that they did not honor them any longer and if I didn't like it too bad! When I refused to have them install the unit and asked to pick it up, he refused to release it to me or even another authorized a/c contractor! I had to call another company and they only charged me $600 to install on a Saturday without a contract!! They reviewed all my charges that I have paid with BAyside and showed me their pricelist...Progressive Air is 30-40% LOWER ON ALL PARTS AND LABOR ACROSS THE BOARD! I will TELL EVERYONE I KNOW HOW BADLY BAYSIDE TREATED ME AFTER 5 YEARS OF LOYALTY!!! Pros: Technicians are professional and courteous Cons: Owner wont stand behind their work or warranties!!! more

bad at returning calls, the tech fell through my celing while in my attic and then th co. took over 3 weeks to get a repair man to fix the hole, i must have called 40 times trying to get a straight answer from someone do not use this service Cons: everything more

After purchasing a new home the fan condenser went out 3 days after closing. I researched the air conditioning companies and went with the most reputable company and fair price. \r \r WOW, My new system has nice cool air. Thank You Bayside!!! for the good clean job. The 15 seer energy saving system and $1500.00 Tax Credit on top of the quality work and pleasant representatives convinced Me that this was a good decision. more

Beware of the maintenance plan offered by Bayside. My husband and I have been regular customers for almost two years. We begin to notice after about a year that every time someone came out to home for the ""twice yearly maintenance"" our units needed repair and it usually was not cheap. Today someone was out for the ""routine maintenance"" and SURPRISE our unit needs work which will cost a lot of $$$. After a while you start to understand that this is a way for the Bayside to make more money and upsale. We will be switching companies and getting another opinion on the repair of our unit! It isn't often that I take the time to write a positive review on a company, but Bayside Heating and Air Conditioning is one company that deserves it. Over the last five years, across two different houses, I have used their services three times. My first experience with them was to take care of a mold problem in the ductwork of my prior home. This was an issue that I detected myself, not some sales pitch to take care of a problem that didn't exist. The employees came when they said they would, took care of the problem on the first attempt, and the price was very competitive. The next time I used Bayside was at my current house when the drainage pan under the air handler filled up with water. The unit was more than 15 years old and in rough shape. I thought for sure that I was going to need a new one, but the Bayside employee told me that the drainage line was just clogged and that I could probably get another year out of the air handler. He even took the time to show me an easy way to clean out the line myself should it happen again. About 11 months later, the old air handler finally died and I didn't hesitate to contact Bayside. They replaced the unit, did a professional job, and once again charged a competitive price. As usual, the employees were polite and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. I haven't had any issues since. I highly recommend this company. more

Finding a reputable,reliable,honest & fairly priced H&A Co can be a daunting task. In Fl, there are many of these companies more than willing to exploit the trusting consumer.We found Bayside to be the EXCEPTION! A little over 8 yrs ago, in the middle of the summer, a holiday weekend, our air went out. An aquaintance recommend we call Gary Robinson w/Bayside H&A. We were skeptical because of past experiences with other H&A CO, but found Mr Robinson to be a breath of fresh AIR! He came to our home that weekend and repaired the compressor to get us through the weekend. He explained in layman terms what the repair entailed,our options,ie:repair vs replacement(17yr+old unit)&costs involved.We found him to be very knowledgable & were impressed by his professionalism & sincerity.RARE QUALITIES THESE DAYS!We were prepared to replace the entire unit,but Mr Robinson advised it was not necessary at this time, saving us thousands.Our air unit had been serviced in the spring of that year and we were advised by another company to replace the entire unit at an exoberant cost. Mr Robinson did not charge us for the repair as we decided to purchase a new compressor at a very reasonable price. We later replaced the air handler thru Bayside. Bayside has consistently provided us, our family members, and friends with excellent service through the years. I would highly recommend them to anyone.. more

I contracted Bayside Heating and Air for a complete replacement (equipment and ductwork) of my home air conditioning system. Our family could not have been happier with the price/service and the work performed. Having to leave your house is a hassle, all the folks at Bayside worked as hard and as quickly as they could to get us back in our home. I have read horror stories of other a/c companies but none were true with Bayside.\r \r I have also used Bayside for my business a/c system. I cannot run my business without air conditioning. We had a recurring problem that required many attempts to fix. Each time Bayside's technicians were at our office within hours and diligently worked to solve the problem. In the end it was a warranty issue but they never charged me for one visit.\r \r Each time I have used Bayside they were extremely professional from the moment they answered the phone until the technician left and we recd a follow up phone call. I would highly recommend them to anyone. As it is now I do not even ask the price as I want it done right and I know that Bayside will perfrom the work correctly with care and the price will alwyas be in line with their competitors. Wow, what a company! I had an issue with my A/C unit that no one else was able to touch for at least four days. FOUR days without A/C in Florida? Bayside was not only able assist my family in a much faster time frame, but at a much more reasonable rate without raising it because it was short notice. The tech was very pleasant, understanding and stayed until the house actually cooled off. They called us back three days later to make sure that it was still cool in the house. I have recommended Bayside Heating & Air to anyone that is having A/C issues or looking for a good A/C company!\r Thanks Guys. I honestly say that this has been one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. My condensor fan motor went out late on a Friday, of course I had the only fan in pinellas county with a different shaft size than the normal units. The fan motor was very expensive, the owner called me personally to let me know the cost and that he would give me his price on the fan motor as he felt bad charging anyone that price, of course I had to check out his story and he did indeed charge me his price for this motor he also sent his tech out on a Saturday to finish the repair at no extra charge. I have to say this has and will be only AC company I will ever call again and have recomended Bayside to several friends that now feel the same as I do. I find great service hard to come by these days so I had to share in case someone else would like to have a good experience for a change. more

As a fellow business owner I have to extend my gratitude to Bayside. I inherited an old air conditioner from my landlord and was told that it was my responsiblity to take care of it for the remainder of the lease. Bayside has come out on 2 separate occassions to fix my system, even when other companies said it needs to be replaced. They sent out a service tech on the same day and after hours to make sure my customers didn't suffer in this Florida heat. I highly recommend Bayside to anyone. Take if from me, if you don't know who to call, this is a company that will take care of you. Pros: Service and reliability Cons: NONE! more

I friend recommended Bayside Heating and Air to me late last year after another local air conditioning company left my family and I completely without air. I was told that they were professional, reasonably priced and performed high quality work. They met and exceeded my expectations. In fact, they were so nice that they corrected the other company?s faulty work AND repaired the problem correctly for about half what the other company quoted me. Thank you Bayside! They have serviced our AC system for years, and we have always found them to be honest, and very reliable. \r They just installed a complete new system and we couldn't be happier with the work that was done. \r The workman did an excellent job and took the time to clean up and explain everything to us. We had repairs that they said would be ""a big job"" and would take least 1 full day maybe 2. They came out and did it in 1 1/2 hrs. The installer said it was a small job. They would not take any off the bill and threatened to put a lein on the house if not paid in full. I contacted an honest competitor and was frankly told that he would have charged about half . The inspectors made them go back out because they did a shoddy job. Terrible experience. Cons: Ripped Off more
