Yes We Scam! 4/12/2011

This company has it's priorities backwards--they care more about selling than about plumbing. The plumbers seem pressured to push over-priced services which are of dubious necessity.\r \r A few weeks ago, one of their plumbers gave me a written quote for replacing my water heater, $1879, based on the laminated price sheet he had in his little sales book. He wrote, in big letters, "50 gal 60,000BTU" water heater at the top of the invoice. Today, when he comes to do the work, his field supervisor shows up with him to inform me that the price I was given two weeks ago, IN WRITING, was for a 40,000BTU water heater. The supervisor says a 60,000BTU heater is going to be more expensive and gives me a new quote for $3558. ???!!!!\r \r Later, I called two other reputable plumbing companies and both gave me a price of $1100 for the same installation package for a 60,000BTU unit. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about Yes' deceiptful upselling practice and hired one of the oth more

I am very happy with the service Yes! Air Conditioning & Plumbing provided. The a/c unit needed to be re-charged and it's now working perfectly. It was easy to make an appointment with them. I liked that they notified me when they were on their way. Their technician arrived on time and quickly got the unit up and running again. more

I experienced some problems with my unit that I purchased from and had installed by your company. I called on Monday to set up an appointment for the next Thursday. The young woman who answered my call was pleasant and very understanding. When I returned home I found that the unit had quit completely. I called back Tuesday and again was met with a courtesy and competence. The young woman set an appointment for that evening. Later than I thought was possible. Your service technician was prompt, efficient and professional. After a minor difficulty he went to work assessing my problem, explaining it and offering options for repair. Even after encountering obstacles erected by the association. We decided on a course of action and agreed to the repairs being completed the next evening--to accommodate my schedule. When I returned home from work he had finished and had the failed parts available for my inspection. he is a very professional and able young man, an excellent rep of your operation. Am I happy that my A/C failed, no, am I happy that I had to pay for the repairs, no again.. A bad situation was much more pleasant because of the attitudes and assistance of your people. Like any other business I am sure you hear all the negatives, I wanted to comment all the people that I cam in contact with and who helped remedy my situation. more

I'm impressed! Service person came on time as promised and looked and acted very professional. This wa my 3rd call after new roof/furance unit was installed. All of your service and sales people are very proper and courteous ( no long hair/beard). I had 4 estimates for a new unit but the others were not as patient & Skilled as YES. Hope YES will maintain this level of service & Support. more

Purpose of this is to inform you of my experience with your salesperson, Darren. My wife and I met with many different companies regarding the replacement of our air conditioning unit until we met with Darren. We decided to choose a new carrier system through your company and though we had many options to our advantage, we made a decision to purchase our new unit as a direct result of conversation with Darren. We found him to be very personable and appreciate the time he took to educate us on many options. Darren took the time to meet with us on many occasions, as well as be available to our many phone calls throughout our installation process. he was an integral part in making our experience a pleasant one. more

Keep up the good work 3/2/2011

Just wanted to drop a line and let you know that I am very pleased with the service specialist at the job on my daughters condo. From the service call to installation the total time was less than 6 hrs. Which includes picking up the new unit . In Las Vegas, in the heat of summer thats a record. Im really glad that I decided not to repair York unit as it iwas over 10 years old. Ed knows his products and was able to point out the advantages of owning a new unit. I opted for an Amana 3 ton 12 SEER. Keep up the good work. more

We recently had an air conditioning and furnace installed at our home. We were extremely pleased with the manner in which the two workmen performed and installation. They were very courteous, fast and extremely neat. I especially appreciated the face that when they entered our house from the outside, they covered their shoes with booties so as not to soil the carpet. I would be remiss if I did not mention the salesman Jeff who sold us the Yes equipment. he was very pleasant courteous and extremely knowledgable about his product. more

Service Rip Off 2/10/2011

A YES "technician" (sales guy) came out to my house and recommended replacing and fixing all 4 toilets for over $1400. Only 4 months after agreeing to the YES recommendations, I needed service on 1 of the new toilets and they wanted to charge me $150 in addition.\r Don't buy anything from this company, they do not stand behind their product or service. more

A Semi-Scam! 2/10/2011

I noted on their home page that the company wants to know if one is dissatisfied. However, I can not find how to send them an e-mail.\r I am very dissatisfied for the following reasons: One) Their technicians are NOT paid by the job, or by the hour. The technicians are marketing and sales associates who are at your house for ONE reason: To sell their services and products at extremely inflated prices. The technicians are ON COMMISSION!\r They get a tiny, nominal flat fee for making a call. Thusly:\r They will try like "all get out" to sell you "service contracts" (technician gets commision), quote outrageous prices, and drive concern deep into a homeowner's fears. Here are two examples:\r A technician (All the "plumbers are a long time passing!") came out and found corrosion under the garbage disposal. The price for a installation, was hundreds and hundreds. \r I purchased the disposal and found a handyman who was happy to put the dispossal in for $50.00 labor. It took him around 1/2 an more

A ""technician"" (sales guy) came out in October and sold me on 4 new toilets. Less than 4 months later, one of the toilets has a problem and they want to charge $150 to repair it. Obviously they do not stand behind their product or their service. Total rip off. Use someone else. more

Scott could have your jobs! Im not kidding, Mr M. was terrific. If your not careful, he might end up owning the company. Scott was professional, on time, had a friendly way to certainly knew what he was doing. Ive run many crews in my past work-life and id hire the dude in a second. However, I realize if you give a man too many accolades it could be the kiss of death to his career. He may run off screaming, as the Titanic Director once proclaimed to a nation-wide Oscar audience, ""Im the king of the world!"" so I wouldn't let him go, hes got a fan. If you know what I mean. If you want to keep him around for a while, just buy the kid a coke, pat him down on his husky shoulders and send him on to the next job. Keep the boy down, I tell you. We bought an AC from you on Monday and we wanted to comment on the excellent service we received. Our AC went out on Sunday and we called that afternoon and were told that someone would be out between 8 to 10 on Monday. Brent was here at 10:15 looked at the AC and said that it was a goner. he showed us three plans and we took number 2. He filled out the paperwork got credit at Home Depot. he said that 2 or 3 men would be here that afternoon. It was 97 in the house and I can't imagine what it was like in the attic. for those two young men. But they got it installed and cleaned up and we were cooling off by 7 o clock . We would refer your company to anyone. Thank you! more

I wanted to commend you for your wonderful service & your employee plumber Brian. He was both informative & had the best customer service!!! We are currently renting a condo, and when we move into our home, we will call Yes & request Brian to be our service plumber... he was so helpful & solution oriented! He discussed all of our options and even when we couldn't qualify for financing, he contacted you and the shop to seek out alternative options for us. Then, when their installation team came to our home - Dennis, Chris and Ed - they demonstrated the same level of courtesy and professionalism we'd experienced earlier with Brent. They worked quickly, thoroughly cleaned up after going into our attic space, and explained all the details of our new unit and how to operate it. And their thoughtfulness to leave a gift basket of goodies was just icing on the cake! No one wants to get the news that it's time to replace their air conditioner. We knew we'd been living on borrowed ... - was thorough, professional and extremely courteous. He discussed all of our options and even when we couldn't qualify for financing, he contacted you and the shop to seek out alternative options for us.
