Great and fast service! 2/27/2009

I used House Call Health twice now. Once for my 3 year old, and once for myself. I have 2 small children and it's so nice not to have to leave the house. They come to me! Plus the fact that they take Humana is a big plus. They bill the insurance and I don't have to drag my 2 kids to the doctor. Nurses were great and very helpful and informative. They call and check up on you the next day, which is nice. Pros: House calls, Follow up calls, Takes Humana, Has some Rx on hand Cons: Nothing more

Better than I could have believed! 2/27/2009

I had an appointment within 2 hours, at my home! Got home, they were waiting for me. I would have sat in my doctors waiting room for at least half an hour, then another wait in the exam room. Both of the nurses were dressed in crisp clean white lab coats with the White Gloves insignia, so professional. They came in put a sterile cloth on my table, asked questions, did exam, gave me meds. I think I must have been dreaming because this just can't be the way it works----can it? Yes it can! Bravo WhiteGlove you have earned 5 stars in my book. Saved our office! 2/27/2009

White Glove is awesome. Four people in our office have used their service in the past two weeks! We had minor issues - allergies, cold symptoms, a weird spider bite. The nurse came to our office each time with a smile on her face and a full bag of tools and goodies. We just love the convenience and great service. Saves us time and trouble. I'm now spreading the word to our other Austin, San Antonio and Dallas locations. White Glove is a real find! Pros: House calls within an hour or so! Great staff. more

I love WhiteGlove House Call service! Our whole family -- mom, dad, 11 yr old and 9 yr old -- has benefitted from WhiteGlove visits over the past months. It is so EASY -- just call and within two hours (I've never had to wait more than 1 hour) a doctor or nurse practitioner is at your doorstep (or your office or wherever you are). I LOVE WhiteGlove House Call Health. I've used them a few times over the past year and every experience has been great. A nurse practioner comes to your house, does a professional exam and prescribes the necessary medication. A lot of times the nurse practioner has sample medication to give you for FREE. If you need a prescription from a pharmacy, they'll call it in for you and have a driver deliver the meds to your house. Pros: Convenience, expertise, service more

House calls, a thing of the present! 2/9/2009

I'm not the best patient in the world. When I get sick, I get grumpy and would rather not talk to anyone. Growing up, I'd always heard from my grandmother about the ""old days"" when the doctor would visit their home when they were sick but everyone knows, those days are long gone. Not anymore . This was a wonderful experience! I called them at 8:00 in the morning, they scheduled the appointment for 10:30 and she actually arrived a ittle earlier than the appointment. She had a great personality, was very attentive and was fully prepared to get me feeling better. She even brought some chicken soup, crackers and ginger ale! When she left I had everything I needed to get on the road to recovery and the best part is, the grumpiness was kept to a minimum!!! Thanks!!! more

Easy Health Care 2/9/2009

I used the WhiteGlove House Call Health recently for what turned out to be a cedar allergy problem. The Nurse Practioner arrived at the appointment time at my office, did the examination in one of our offices, diagnosed the problem, gave me the needed medication and also gave me a care bag. Most pleasant experience while I was sick 2/9/2009

Great service, luckily provided by my work/insurance. Aside from having to activate my account while I had the flu this was a very pleasant experience. They arrived ahead of their projected time, were super friendly and helpful, and had the prescription delivered promptly. The complimentary ""get well"" bag was great, filled with everything you would need from soup and crackers to apple sauce and jello, even tissue. Highly recommended. My only suggestion is to activate your account *before* you get sick, that way you only call to schedule the house call, not find and report all your information. Pros: The entire house-call experience and prescription delivery Cons: None come to mind more

To date the best health care experieince I have ever had. If you don't have this service you are missing out. Pros: You don't have to do anything. They will go get prescrips and everything. Cons: Waiting periods vary. more

Indispensable new medical service 2/2/2009

It was the day after Christmas, I was leaving town the next day, all the doctors offices seemed to be closed. I had a problem that needed attention before vacation. I was able to quickly schedule a nurse's visit. She arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. She got me started on a cure, and a doctor followed up with me on my cell phone while I was out of town. Great service. Pros: Quick and convenient home health care visit. more

Great Service 2/2/2009

I was laying on the couch, not feeling well, thinking about if we should go down to the emergency room. Then, I remembered WhiteGlove House Call! Boy am I glad I did. The doctor was at my house within 1 hour. He did a quick exam and wrote up a follow up plan. He even called the next day to check in with me. He was very professional and friendly. It was quite nice to not have to get up from the couch, get into a car and sit around a doctor's waiting room all while feeling crappy. What a great service! I will definitely call them again. Pros: Didn't have to get up from the couch! more

Great and easy healthcare 2/1/2009

These guys are great, affordable and easy to use. They are very convenient for my wife who can have the kids seen in the comfort of our home without having to drag all of the kids to the doctor's office. Who wants to load up a sick kid and drive them all over town? Very convenient for me as well. I set the appointment and they come see me in my office. No more taking time out to drive to the doctor's office and then have to hope the doctor isn't running behind to completely disrupt my schedule. I'm able to work right up until the time they arrive. Staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable and very accomodating. I couldn't give them a higher recommendation! Pros: Very convenient and affordable more

Getting Healthy Made Easy! 2/1/2009

I've used WhiteGlove House Call Health twice now and each time I've been thoroughly impressed. One visit was a Sunday evening at 7pm. They were at my house within an hour! I'm a stay at home mom and my husband was traveling out of town so having someone coming to the home could not have been more convienient. I received a care package and the medicine necessary to get me back on my feet quickly. They were very professional and courteous. They consistantly follow up to ensure I am recovering. The greatest health care service for any family! 2/1/2009

I want to rave about White Glove House Call Health. My 17 year old son who is normally super busy and active was feeling feverish and really sick. Instead of having to wait to call his MD on the next business and hope for an appointment, I called White Glove. Within a few hours, a wonderful Nurse Practitioner CAME TO OUR HOUSE!! We didn't have to go anywhere! She quickly diagnosed the problem, dispensed the appropriate meds, and gave us a treatment plan. Because she came on a weekend, my son was able to recover much sooner and suffer a lot less. Everyone was nice, professional, and helpful. My family will access this service from now on! Best service ever for medical treatment. 1/31/2009

The best idea in medical treatment intervention ever. Mirrors the days when physicians made house calls only much better. the professionalism of the nurse was outstanding as was her assessment. The instant ability to start antibiotics, the service that mailed me the remainder of the antibiotics prescribed was such a customer friendly service. Perfect for a Family 1/31/2009

We've subscribed to the service for over a year now, and absolutely lov it. Myself, I would NEVER go to the doctor due to the hassle and my tight schedule. With WhiteGlove the hassle is gone, and they always work into my schedule. Keeps me healthier than ever. And with two young kids, 8 & 13, WhiteGlove has taken the hassle out of my wife's schedule when they get sick. The WhiteGlove people are a pleasure too. CitySearch needs 6 stars for WhiteGlove! Great If You're Sick in Bed or A Stay At Home Mom 1/31/2009

My husband has used the service several times, and has been able to be seen while he is at home for lunch. They have done wonders keeping his asthma under control. I also really appreciate how they check back to make sure the prescriptions are working and he is feeling better. I have only needed to use the service once, but I will definately use them again whenever the need arises. I can't imagine ever going back to packing up my toddler and waiting for an eternity just to see a dr for 10 minutes. Thanks WhiteGlove! more
