brake service 1/16/2012

I decided to stop by on Friday evening to make an appointment for new brakes. When they told me they could do it that night,I was quite happy and surprised. The shuttle brought me home and I was told I would get a phone call with an estimate. After more than two hours, I called to see what was going on. They told me they didn't have a technician to do the brakes and i would have to leave it overnight. Since I was not expecting to me without a car for the night, I had to pick it up and bring it back the next morning. After dropping it off the next morning, the work was done earlier than quoted. It was ready at noon instead of 2pm. However, the estimate was $40 more than I was quoted, even after using a coupon. I normally have all my service done here, but this time I was not too happy. They did a good job but the total experience was not what I was expecting or what I was used to. more

Too Good To Pass Up 1/16/2012

We received a coupon in the money mailer packet. The Sunday hours were too good to pass up. Gabe was patient and thorough in explaining the situation. We are very please with the service and price for the oil change, tune-up and taking care of the check engine light. We have four vehicles. We'll be back, again and again. Tires are next! more

Excellent experience at Virginia Tire again. Vehicle was dropped off on a busy Saturday morning for State Inspection and oil change. Expectation was for completion by COB Sunday. It was ready early Saturday afternoon. Everything went well from drop-off, status call,and check out. We were even encouraged to bring a coupoun at check out to reduce the cost. more

New Tires, Alignment, and Inspection 1/8/2012

I contacted VA Tire and Auto of Ashburn when I needed new tires for my 2003 Sierra. I had used them many years ago, but had a bad experience with the previous owners. Since they now had new owners, and were so close to my home, I decided to give them a try. I am very glad I did. They matched price on the specific tires I wanted, didn't push anything on me that I didn't want, and were very prompt and polite with their service. I am now a loyal customer again. They even went the extra step - I'm a "car guy" and like to do most repairs myself. While my truck passed inspection, the rear brakes had some issues that would need attention soon - after inspecting my rear brakes the next day, their assessment was spot on and I'm very glad they pointed out the problem. Unlike other shops who might try and force a repair on me before passing inspection, these guys were straight up and honest. Great job! more

We are always pleased with the service that VA Tire & Auto of Ashburn provide. They do good work and always call to keep us posted on what needs to be done on our cars. The work is completed quickly and our cars are always done within a half a day. more

Service/Maintenance/Repair/State Inspection 1/8/2012

Took my SUV for State inspection and oil change. I had also been experiencing issues with the battery and had replaced the battery 3 times in 2011. When I told the folks at Goodyear they advised me to have an electronic diagnostics done. As I had suspected, but two other competitors were never able to determine, I needed a new Alternator. Goodyear found the cause of my problem and fixed it. Price was a bit on the high end, but not unexpected for an electrical problem. Very professional and kept me in the loop whenever they found an issue, no surprises. more

Our Hondas are very Happy Customers 1/7/2012

We have been very happy customers of Virginia Tire & Auto for nearly 8 years. Their customer service is excellent...friendly, honest and helpful. The repairs we have needed received quality workmanship that were reasonably priced. Not only have we never been talked into repairs or new tires when they weren't needed, the folks at VT&A have helped me save money by sending me to the dealer for a repair of a seat belt because the mechanic called to see if it was still under warranty - which it was and their was no charge for the repair!! more
