This is the closest to a scam you can be and still operate. Do Not Use this service. I contacted Sony to repair a five year old Sony 40 inch flat screen which did not have a picture but four blinking lights on the standby light. I contacted Sony first and Sony recommend one of three repair services authorized by Sony in the Sacramento area. For $95 this company came out looked at the TV, connected a voltage meter, determined there was power and told me that it needed a new mother board at a cost of about $300 for the part. I was told I would be called back with an exact estimate. Two days later I was called back and told it would cost $2,500 to fix a 5 year old TV that cost $900. new. When I asked what happened to the $300 estimate I was told it needed a complete new panel. The panel has not cracks, no breaks and was never mentioned. The next notification is to Sony to see how in the world they authorized this company. more

i'm so shoch what i read here about this shop they are true Don't bring your electronics here ,i bought my tv are rc willey's it took 3 weeks before they return it to us then after couple of hours same problem im experiencing on tv after they fix it call them then guy came said that next time take a Video on the screen im complaining about even i have the picture and you can tell now i do some research then i found this but on samsung website they are not authorize shop for them wondering why rc willeys gave us this shop name i dont have choice i need to return the tv cause they changed the panel its consider brand new tv even the tv is really braqnd new bought it dec 2010 hope this time they will do it right,ill follow up after this ..... more

Terrible Service, Rude Management, AVOID! 1/27/2011

This shop my get it right sometimes. But if you have any issues with them as I have, you will see they are definitely not a shop to do business with. They have lied to me more than once and if you try to demand any kind of true customer service or satisfaction due to a repair issue, the management becomes rude and non-cooperative. These people have been working on my tv for over 3 months and it still isn't repaired. If you use this shop and get screwed, you can only blame yourself, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! more

I had called this company recommended to me by Frys to get my Samsung DLP fixed. When I called into the company and explained my problem the lady who took my information explained how the service call would work and she answered all my questions I had. I called in on a Monday and she scheduled my appointment for Tuesday. When the tech John came out he said my tv had a bad color wheel he gave me the price to fix and said it should take a few days to get and he would come back out. I received a call from Video Tech on Friday that they received my part in and John could come out that same day if I was available which I was so John came out and installed my color wheel. I do not understand these bad reviews this company and there technician John are very friendly and completely knowledgeable. I recommend this company to anyone!!! more

wow, I was given this number from Samsung to repair my plasma. I called up to make an appointment and I was talking to guy named ""Andre"". I have a home theater system with a Dennon reciever. Everything is running through the reciever. I couldn't figure out the problem if it was either my reciever or tv. There ad says they service home theater systems. I asked Andre if it could be the receiver. Andre responded shortly the ""TV"" guy only looks at the ""TV"". I was trying not to laugh as if this is a hidden camera show. I asked if he could send out the tech who services home theater systems, Andre with his charm told me I had to unhook my reciever and bring it in the store. I asked why would they do this, because I had best buy mount my plasma and hook up my system and was a little curious why I needed to unhook my reciever and bring it in the their shop. Andre with his charm quickly cut me off and said ""I will transfer you to a manager"" and quickly put on hold. Andre comes back after a couple of minutes and tells me that the managers are busy and they will call you back. I was in shock on how we got to this point so quickly. I told him I wanted to cancel my appointment and Andre hung up on me. I called back and talked to a manager and ""michelle"" came on the phone. Sweet girl, but I wondered if it wasn't Andre co worker or someone he handed the phone to, Michelle told me that Andre has never had any compliants before (really?) and this was the first. I thanked her for her time and will be writing a letter to the Samusung. more

Absolutely Useless 2/12/2010

This company was located by my warranty company so I assumed they were reputable. They did show up when they said they would and picked up the TV on the scheduled date. Tech said it would be 5 to 10 days for repair. After that it was completely downhill. They had my TV for 23 days and never once called me to update the status. They blamed the delay on the warranty company saying the repair was approved after 6 days and they were waiting for them to ship the parts. I was told by the repair shop the part would arrive in 3 to 5 days three times over a 2 week period. On the 23rd day the warranty company told me the repair shop was approved to order the parts back on the 8th day of having my TV. Finally having had enough the warranty company refunded me my service agreement money AND the total cost of the TV. I strongly advise using Square Trade. They were apologetic and very fair. A real company unlike the piece of shite that you are considering using. As for the good reviews I can only assume they were written by employees or ownership. Enter at your own risk and then wait and wait and wait... Pros: answered the telephone when it rang Cons: everything else more

I don't have anything good to say about this business. They sent a repair man to come see our LCD TV, and informed us that they would have to order a part. Then a week later, they scheduled to pick it up. They picked it up on Friday, but we called and they said that they didn't receive it until Monday. Cons: lots... see review more

Nice friendly service. I dropped off my Philip's picture tube TV on Friday . VTC said they would call me next Thursday. I received a call on Thursday with a cost estimate. They fixed it on the same day and where very helpful loading it into my car. Pros: Nice friendly service. Helped loading TV into car Cons: Prices seem a little high but I have not had to have anything repaired for years. more

Quick Professional service 7/20/2008

I called VTS after being completely blown off by another Mitsubishi service center. VTS was friendly, professional and prompt to come out and repair my 73"" Mitsubishi. Repair man was on time for both trips. He had the part within days and fixed it right the first time. These guys mean business. Pros: Prompt and Professional more

I had a very good experience...they replaced my light engine in my 55' Philips and had it done in a week. I guess I expeced at least that much time. Everything was done under warranty so that was even better! more

Very very slow. Took over a month for them to get the TV diagnosed and repaired. Then they acted like I was a complete nuisance by calling them to ask about MY TV. Like they had to go out of their way to give me an update. Last I checked your getting my business! Beyond the fact they were rude, they never could give me a date... they just said ""When we get to it."" We ended up having to cancel our superbowl party because they couldn't even finishing it. Do not go here at all expenses!! Pros: They are samusung's referral Cons: They don't work on the TV's. Even Samsung had to keep calling them to try to get them to work on the TV. more

Customer beware 10/6/2007

I took my camera in the other day to have it fixed for a cetrain problem. When I got it back and tried it out another problem occured that wasn't there before. I took it back for them to check it out and they told me that it wasn't related to the orginal problem so it was going to cost more money to get it fixed. I told them just to put it back together and I would pick it up. So I got it home and tried it out and guess what, another problem. Bottom line is it's sort of working now. There is no way I would ever take it or anything else to them again. Cons: Customer beware more

The Sharp TV phone rep told me to bring it here. So I called them and was told it would take 5 days to just look at it. Okay. But when I brought it in they said 7-10 days. After two weeks they still hadn't looked at it. Cons: They take forever just to even look at your problem more
