Utopia?s service 3/16/2011

I am writing to inform everyone how great Utopia?s service is! I recently call utopia to manage my condo for me in Coronado. Utopia found me excellent tenants. Professional service 3/9/2011

I have been renting out my home for a couple of years and have not been happy with the management service that I have been receiving. I gave Utopia a chance and they have proved that they can handle the job. I live out of town so I need a manager to keep me up to date and rent out my home quickly. Thank you Utopia for following up and getting the job done! more

Utopia is Great! 2/16/2011

About a year ago my family and I had to relocate to Washington State for work. My husband and I decided to rent out our home using utopia?s service. Utopia has been lovely to deal with. They found great tenants with no pets to live in my property who are very reasonable and always pay their rent on time! I would recommend Utopia Management to all my friends who have to rent out their home. more

My experience with Utopia! 12/23/2010

My experience with Utopia has been positive from the beginning. We had no choice but to rent our house when my husband was transferred and we could not sell our house for what we owe. This was our first time renting out property and they have been understanding and patient through the whole process. I trust them and their knowledge to take care of our home while we are away. more

They are real ""people"" 12/20/2010

I don't rent from these guys, but my company referred them to me when I relocated from out of town. The staff are fun and knowledgeable about the areas they manage in and if they didn't have an answer for me at the time of the viewing, they made sure to find it out and call me back. It was nice dealing with ""people"" and not real estate snobs. Kudos! more

Interested in Home!!! 12/19/2010

I had an appointment yesterday (Saturday) to see a house. I was very impressed with the agent who showed me the place. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. And he didn't bug me. He allowed me to look at the place without following me around and when I had questions answered them. I did apply for the property. Thanks! more

Great Service! 12/14/2010

I am very impressed with Utopia Management! My fiance and I have been looking for a place to rent for months and haven't had any luck with management companies. We found a place on Utopias website that we loved and gave them a call...they were quick to get us scheduled to view the property, very patient will all our questions and got us into our new home in no time! They by far are the best Management company in San Diego that I've come across. Couldn't be happier!! more

Exceptional Service 12/9/2010

I am writing this review simply because of the exceptional service I have received from Utopia thus far. I am a home owner that is being transferred out of the country and needed to rent out my home. I submitted an online request about their service, was contacted the same day, the person I spoke with was very pleasant and informative. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day to have someone come out to meet with me. Utopia was able to rent out my home in a very reasonable amount of time and I am very pleased with the tenants they placed in my property. Just wanted to say Great Job!!!! more

Utopia Management is outstanding at customer service. 12/3/2010

Our association is a very small client of Utopia Management. Utopia Management however addresses our concern and needs as if we were a very big client. Specifically, our point of contact is extremely professional and helpful at all times. If we need to speak to the owner of Utopia Management he is always available to us. more

Do not use Utopia for property management 11/23/2010

This was the worst experience we had as new landlords. They came out to do a walk-through of our condo and give us an estimate of rent. This was several years ago when the economy was doing better. The representative informed me that she could only get me $995/month, maybe $1095 but that was it. When I pointed out that comparable properties in our neighborhood were renting for $1295-1395 she said I would have to pay ~$500 for them to list it for more than she was suggesting. I went with a different management company, was able to get $1295 and it was rented within days. Today just for fun I was going through Craig's list to look at comparable properties and Utopia is currently listing a condo in our complex - much smaller than ours (1 bed vs. 2 bed), with fewer upgrades for $1150 in a difficult economy during the holidays! I am appauled at their business in property management. I believe they are trying to get as much additional money as possible at the expense of their clients and lying in order to do it. She tried to strong-arm me into accepting - telling me there was NO way I could get more rent. Wow - obviously they've changed their minds now. Very disappointing - go with a different company for managing your property! more

I have been renting with utopia for about 2 years now. They have always been so helpful when I call! I recently had a water leak in my kitchen. I call the maintenance department and they had someone out ASAP. more

SEAMLESS TRANSFER 11/11/2010

HI all. I am totally new to this area, so I thought I'd browse some local websites :) Anyway, I came across the review page for this site and thought I'd drop in and give a review of my management company. Since I relocated with the military, I had to do everything via email and phone. My property manager was always prompt with her correspondence, very insightful with the neighborhood, and very funny :) She made this a seamless transition from Virginia to here for me and my family. I really appreciate that! more

Utopia 11/11/2010

I would like to think my manager and the maintenance staff at Utopia for all their help this past month. They handled the repairs that needed to be done at my house quickly and as conveniently as possible. The situation was frustrating for me and they were constant professional while solving the problem. more

Professional additute 11/10/2010

My reason for posting this comment is that I needed Utopia Management to take care of renting my property out for me and handling any problems that might arise while I am out of town for the next couple of years. I have asked them to do many things like overnighting packages of my mail ect. and everytime they handle it quickly and professionaly. I highly recommend them to anyone. more

They remedied my stinky situation :) 11/8/2010

The most horrific thing happened to me about a month ago. I live in a condo complex with someone above me. My upstairs neighbor's toilet overflowed and sewage leaked into my condo. It was so disgusting! So, the maintenance technicians were sent in about an hour from when I reported it. They were very knowledgeable and helped remedy the problem as best they could. My bathroom is still being rebuilt because of all the custom stuff that was in it, but the company gave me a small credit to compensate for the inconvenience. The staff is friendly and made me feel important. more

I have been with Utopia Management for a few years now, about 3. They are doing just fine. They do a good job for me in that they are keeping tenants in my properties. They also help me get the bad tenants out, which is what you want. more

Utopia Tenant 6/1/2010

I have been a tenant of Utopia?s for the past 3 years. I have enjoyed all of my dealings with them. When I went in to sign my lease the manager helping me was helpful, friendly and answered all of my stupid questions with patience. Since then the maintenance department has handled any repairs we have needed quickly and efficiently. I have really enjoyed renting from Utopia. Thanks! more
