Awesome 10/12/2011

I have been renting one of their properties since April and I have had nothing but good service from them. Whenever maintenance has needed to be done, Manny always calls before and makes sure its okay that he can enter the property and prewarns us of things that are happening. My only complaint I have is when a company showed up to fix our plumbing issues they had to dig to fix a pipe and they just left my front yard a hug pile of dirt instead of even it back out. But thats not the properties fault. more

Over the last three years my wife and I have lived in a house managed by Utopia. They have always been professional and easy to deal with. When we had a maintenance issue at our house they responded right away and fixed the problem quickly. We are very happy with the staff and the service provided by Utopia. more

AVOID UTOPIA MANAGEMENT AT ALL COST 7/12/2011

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID this low life money leaching, do nothing, no respect, lying, worthless company. And that waa as nice as I could put it. The words I really wanted to use I know this site will not allow. If you are a home owner RUN......! If you are a renter RUN FASTER! No matter how nice the home....DONT DO IT!!! Its not worth what you are about to get into. Deposite? GONE FOREVE!!!!! EVERYTHING is written for their benifit. Nothing for you no rights. Or so thesae fools think. But you will havew to fight to exercise them. Listen folks its simple. Look them up on yelp.....the only positive reviews they ever get are by them or people they pay to write them. THEY ARE SCUM!!!! Worst thing ever. Our case manager lied to us NUMEROUS times saying we would get our place (it has been a month and we still have not gotten full possession). The place is still to be cleaned. We can never get in contact with our manager and she shows very little interest in our well being. We are UCSD students and have been taken advantage of. Utopia made my renting experience easy and hassle free! As a student looking for an apartment in San Diego county, it was really convenient to use their website to look at local listings that were within my price range and area of interest. Great company with great costmer service. Mainteance team is very responsive. I had a bad expericence with my last home and Utopia has made me happy in my new home and I feel I will be taken care of with any issues that may arise. more

Utopia management 4/25/2011

I called Utopia to enquire information on a rental property in La Mesa, I found advertised on Cragslist. The receptionist was very helpful. She schedule me an appointment to view the property I wanted to see. When I arrived on-site at the property, Nancy was there to meet me. She was very pleasant and answered all my questions. I ended up renting the property! Thanks Utopia! more

Rentals 4/14/2011

I had a great experience with Utopia. As it was the first time I was living on my own (without roommates) I was really nervous with dealing with the process of finding a place and had millions of questions once I found a property I liked. Utopia was very patient and responsive to all my questions and calls. I love the property I am at and glad I went through utopia!! more

They make renting easy. 4/13/2011

During the two years I rented with Utopia Management if any problems arose they were right on it. We had the glass on our stove burst out at 2 AM. We don't know why, maybe it was too old, but the fire department came out, and I took pictures and sent them to Utopia Management. Within a couple of days we had a brand new stove. We had older appliances, like our fridge, and whenever something happened Utopia Management replaced them very quickly. That was very helpful. They were always very professional. Even their maintenance men were professional. They also always get back to you in a quick, timely manner. They make renting easy. Not once did someone from their company come bang on our door or bother us. We always corresponded by email or letter. We would use them again to rent with no hesitation. more

i CAN'T BELIEVE ALL THE POSITIVE REVIEWS THAT UTOPIA IS GETTING. WE HAD OUR HOME WITH UTOPIA AS A RENTAL FOR 3 YEARS, PAID FOR NUMEROUS REPAIRS AND ONLY HAD ONE TENANT FOR 6 MONTHS. I THINK THEY ARE THE MOST GREEDY,UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY I'VE EVER HAD A CHANCE TO DEAL WITH. THEY REALLY MUST HAVE CHANGED SENSE 2 YEARS AGO WHEN WE PARTED WAYS. My heater stopped working last night and I went on line to submit a maintenance request to have it fixed. I was called first thing the following morning by the maintenance department to tell me that the work order was placed with one of their vendors who would be contacting me to schedule an appt. They also offered me a space heater to use until mine could be fixed. I have never had any property management company offer me this type of service. Thanks! more
