It has been a plethora of mishaps with Utopia. They were terrible at not returning phone calls timely whenever we started looking at a property they were managing. They certainly don t make it convenient to view a property either. That should of been our first clue that this was not going to be a good relationship. We rented the property because we liked it so much, and were on a time crunch. The property was not ready on time and not cleaned when we were ready to move in, they gave us the wrong keys to the house, couldn t give us the mailbox number, didn t have the garage door openers, gave us the wrong set of HOA rules, didn t tell us which utilities we needed to put in our name, trash days, etc, etc....The small things that really make a difference. We did have a maintenance staff member come over today, and he has been the nicest one we have dealt with so far. Good luck getting anyone to call you back or get your property manager on the phone. I have been disappointed with their services. Just an FYI - Their leases auto renew for 1 year after it is up and the rent goes up 5% automatically. You can contest this - but you have to do it 60 days before the end of your lease.
