Too easy 9/2/2015

I dropped my car off the night before and picked it up the next day. There was very little delay on either side. Rick listened to my concerns and made reasonable suggestions. And the cost was comparable to other mechanics. more

Busy Day 9/1/2015

I came for service last Saturday AM. I waited for about 40 minutes to be checked in. This was a super crazy day. Things I appreciated: Everyone in service was working so hard to try and get customers checked in. I was given a rental car because of the recall work that needed to be done. Omar was clear and up front about the services I was getting, even though there were 30 people ahead of me and 30 behind me. Things I didn't appreciate: They gave each car a number - like your place in line - and several people who arrived after me were helped before me. So many of your customers are idiots who don't know the rules of how the service department operates. You have that giant screen when you drive in - It makes sense to me to put instructions on there like, "Stay in your car until you can be helped by a service person." I saw a guy fishhook several employees trying to be seen before it was his turn. He would grab them and talk to them and every time he did that, it made my wait longer. I wanted to kick that dude. I know you guys had a crazy Saturday. I think you did a great job. more

Going on a trip so took in my car for oil change and tune up. They not only took care of my car quickly, they even picked me up from work closeby! Thanks Toyota of Huntington Beach :) more

Not a one stop shop 9/1/2015

Wanted my car alarm checked too. Told I have to take it myself down the street. Down the street was a Toyota Scion dealer with no posted hours and not open when I went there. No sign of where I could get help with my alarm. WE MAKE IT EASY turned into WE MAKE IT EASY TO GET YOU MAD. In addition my car was blazing hot when I picked it up. Felt like it was parked in the sun with the heater on. Didn't think much of a 6 month service without an oil change. That's what I have always been used to. Just basically a tire rotation. Also, how many trees do guys use a day? I figure it was 8 sheets of paper to document this transaction. 2 to initiate, 2 for dispatcher, 2 to shop, 2 to cashier? WOW. So much for a paperless society. more

Well I do have some concerns. 8/15/2015

Toyota did an oil consumption text to verify the lost of oil that was reported to me several weeks ago. I never saw a leak so now I'm wondering when I take my car in for an oil change, if HB Toyota is putting oil in my engine. more
